What A Shock Dept.: Dr. Rasheed Hosein, Cadet Douchecanoe's mentor at USMA
So today, it turns out that future Leavenworth alum Spenser Rapone was mentored by the swarthy fellow, above, while attending the USMA, and at just about the time he became notably radicalized.
Rapone was a cadet from summer of 2012-graduation in 2016.
Hosein began teaching at West Point in July 2011. Previously, he served as the director of Public Education for the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Chicago. So, how's that Muslim Cadet Association working out, Army?
He was also Muslim Lay Chaplain at West Point, Officer in Charge of the Muslim Cadet Association, and Emeritus Facility Adviser of Phi Alpha Theta, a national history honor society of which Rapone was a member, according to a photo.
I'm sure it's purely coincidental, and the fact that Hosein is on "administrative leave" just now is similarly just more blazing coincidence.
I'm thinking Army CID and the FBI will be chatting up Professor Hosein, in yet another act of pure coincidence, but it leads one to wonder aloud:
Who the hell is running the United States Military Academy, and whatinblisteringf**k goes on up there when they're supposed to be training a highly dedicated American military officer corps?
Rapone is currently assigned to the 2nd BCT of 10th Mountain Division in upstate NY, just a hop, skip, and jump from USMA, and because of their winter/mountain focus, liable to be repeatedly deployed to A-stan as long as our forces are involved there. Which is also coincidentally *cough* classic espionage tradecraft *cough*. But that's something of interest to several three letter agencies, not my affair. Say, how many coincidences before something turns to "enemy action"? Checking for a friend.
So, exactly as predicted, seven years of cadets and the entire cadre during Rapone's period of attendance is going to be bending over for the Mother Of All Proctological Exams.
Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of co-conspirators. Like cockroaches, when you see one, there are always ten more you don't know about.
