Molon Labe, Cykᴻ!

They really are, no questions asked. In the capital city.

The Ukrainian people are smarter, better trained, better equipped, and far better motivated against the Russians than the mujahideen were in A-stan, and the muj still threw both us and the Russians out of that sh*thole.

Vlad is about to be in the position of the dog that chased cars, and then caught one.

I don't think it's going to work out for him quite the way he thought, and he doesn't have 1980 height-of-the-Cold-War levels of troops to lose, either. House-to-house in Kiev, Kharkiv, Odessa, etc., is liable to be a cast iron bitch, the kind infantry nightmares are made of.

And that whole "a rifle behind every blade of grass" thing is a real kick in the nuts, and will be for years and years to come, even if Ukraine falls.

Most of the breakaways have been waiting 70 years to do to the Russians what the Ukrainians are doing tonight. And probably will continue to do, for the next ten years, win or lose.

Finally, as a public service to the people of Ukraine, we forward the following official Ukrainian government information:

Gives "fire water" a whole new meaning.

No Quarter

Two real choices, Jackboots:
1) Change sides.
2) Stand down, and refuse to obey unlawful orders.

Any other options?
3) Expect early activation of your Servicemen's Group Life Insurance benefit plan.
4) Become a posthumous supply point for domestic partisans.

And bear well in mind that the "Just following orders" Defense lost any cachet or effectiveness it had right around 1946, in Nuremburg.
The sentence for war crimes in failed subjugation attempts usually begins and ends with rump trials up against a wall, and the finer points of law tend to get lost in the gunsmoke.

Are the summer soldiers of the Notional Guard and the wannabee sturmtruppen of the state police really willing to establish VA as the first banana republic north of the Rio Grande, and put the rest of their lives on the line for people who can't figure out how many genders there are?

Call that toss in the air, geniusii.

Be Careful What You Wish For...

Someone once asked how many men were needed to start a revolution.
Apparently, 77 is enough to get the ball rolling.
"Stand your ground. Don't fire unless fired upon. But if they mean to have a war, let it begin here." - Captain John Parker, Lexington militia

"Throw down your arms, you damned rebels!" - British officer, 4th Regiment of Foot, on Lexington Common
And then the F**k-Up Fairy landed, someone pulled a trigger, and the genie was out of the bottle.

Tally at the end of the day:

Colonials:
49 killed
39 wounded
5 missing

British troops:
73 dead
174 wounded
53 missing

The British troops, formed of disparate clumps of men and officers from a dozen regiments (which made command and control even more tenuous throughout the day) after brushing aside what was always intended as token resistance at Lexington (the colonial militia was on the common, not blocking the road at all, and made no move to impede the far superior British forces, all the colonial leaders and stores of weapons having been removed or hidden long before the Redcoats' arrival), marched on to Concord bridge, where they searched the town for weapons until noon, mostly to no great effect, but upon their attempted return to Boston got a much different greeting than at Lexington, and then began an all-day long fighting retreat that left every British officer from the original expedition injured or wounded and unhorsed, all of them exhausted, nearly out of ammunition, and all but surrounded and captured as they straggled back to the safety of Boston city limits. The British in Boston were subsequently surrounded and besieged by tens of thousands of enraged colonial militiamen, which troops then formed the seed of what became the Continental Army.

And with blood shed in strength by both sides, no way any longer to put back the cork to the genie's bottle.

Lesser lights in modern times, agitating for both gun control and confiscations, and shilling for an open conflict in the midst of civil society, should learn a lesson or three about being careful for what you wish.

From The People Who Thought Chainsaw Bayonets Were A Thing...

h/t Kenny

(MOONBATVILLE) "We can finally act to remove weapons designed for war from our streets, once and for all.
Reinstating the federal assault weapons ban that was in effect from 1994 to 2004 would prohibit manufacture and sales, but it would not affect weapons already possessed. This would leave millions of assault weapons in our communities for decades to come.
Instead, we should ban possession of military-style semiautomatic assault weapons, we should buy back such weapons from all who choose to abide by the law, and we should criminally prosecute any who choose to defy it by keeping their weapons."

Best wishes with attempting to purchase my constitutional rights. Like prior enemies of the republic, you'll be paying that bill by spurting lifeblood out the new holes in your liver.

And if the Leftards who keep pushing this dungball into the sausage maker don't think folks will regard a new attempt like this as carte blanche authorization to open hunting season on the Leftists in their neighborhoods, they should keep pushing.

If they think gun deaths are bad now, they should wait until they experience (fleetingly) The Great Reckoning such attempts are going to unleash.
Enough of this horsesh*t is enough.
