Sunday Music: Little Too Late

(We repeat last week's note: I picked these out a year ago, I swear. I'm not making any commentary on current events. But we'll take the serendipitous happenstance.)
Rock and roll queen extraordinaire, at peak Benatar here, before she faded away doing sappy ballads. Packing seven octaves into about 5' worth of spandex leotard never hurt her appeal, and today's selection is quite the kick-ass song even without that.
{Pat and Neal: if you're ever short a drummer for the next tour, I've got this.}

Great choice however long ago selected. Gotta say the 80's had their own look and sound; this is a GREAT example.

As usual another great choice! Always loved Benatar's voice & range. But Giraldo has always been a big favorite and underrated. He is definitely one of the best.

The guitarist smoking the cigarette just killed me.

And I cannot imagine how many swimmers I sacrificed while watching Pat Benatar on MTV as a young man in the 1980's.

Another great choice. I've always loved listening to her. A voice like other. Didn't start turn to lust until MTV debuted and got to see as well as hear her.

And if her and Neal's relationship isn't one for Guinness when it comes to Rock 'n' Roll (or hell, any part of the of the music industry) I'd like to know who beat their record. They've been married longer than CINCHOUSE and I.

The "guitarist with a cigarette" is Neal Giraldo, Benatar's lead guitarist since ever, and her husband of 37 years.

Fauci is estimating 100-200k dead. Trumpty is starting to talk about having dodged 1.6 to 2.2 million. I don't have great confidence that anything has been dodged. Little early for high fives and bj's all around.

Saw them back in 80s...have been to many rock concerts in my life, Van halen...white snake...def leopard, and not even close Pat had
THE LOUDEST rock concert i've ever been to.
Just got to go see them last year and again super loud, Neal just blasts his solos. They have lost nothing and are still super tight. Pats voice still really powerful and strong. If you get the chance after this craziness go see em, you wont be disappointed...oh and Billy Idol and Heart are also touring and still awesome too.
