Point : Counterpoint

h/t Odd Job

I hope that wasn't too subtle.

Some people might think I go too far.

The fact is, I'm too soft-hearted. We should get an early start.

I dunno, they don't seem to get things even when you spell it out for 'em.
Some people, you just can't reach.
I guess we'll just have to wait for Show and Tell now, won't we?

That's coming back in the very near future.

As I sincerely doubt that liberal wanna be tyrant reads Raconteur Report its Preaching to the Choir, NOT a Warning.

But hey Preaching to the Choir CAN get be used in a Court of Mis-law to put you away for months with out a trial.

Ask the folks *still* being held in solitary confinement for the Jan 6th "Incident". Seems a FAIR number of them were arrested for posting they were there or bragging to their tinder dates about being there.

The 1st Amendment is dead unless your saying what the Powers that Be want you to day (Like that liberal Tyrants tweet). For an EXAMPLE of how Doublespeak aka 1984 we have become here is the Dictionary version of

liberal
[ˈlib(ə)rəl]
ADJECTIVE
willing to respect or accept behavior or opinions different from one's own; open to new ideas.
"they have more liberal views toward marriage and divorce than some people"
synonyms:
tolerant · unprejudiced · unbigoted · broad-minded · open-minded · [more]

Does THAT describe self styled Liberals' TODAY?

From 1984:

“Now I will tell you the answer to my question. It is this. The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from the oligarchies of the past in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just around the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me.”
― George Orwell, 1984

Lets get real, deeds not words, so far the Marxists have the Deeds thing going.

Small teams, closed mouths, bad attitudes

Pipeknockers never "warn" they do and scoot.

Damn shame you pulled punches and didn't let them have it.
Since one of your other memes got me investigated by my workplace, hopefully this one will get the point across. Again.

Dammit, I left twitter to soon. I love the John Wick avatar. That and one other are the rants of the year.

@Michael,

If you're going to live your life on the edge of pee dribbling down your leg, worrying about everything evil people might do, you're already a dead man walking, just going through the motions.

If you disagree with TPTB, you were measured for your coffin years ago, my friend.
Wrap your head around that obvious truth.
Do what you can, where you are, with what you've got.
And live your life as a free man every single day.

Just that alone, scares the hell out of them.

Aesop, off topic for this post but relevant to previous discussions, I found this little nugget on the cdc site.

Ultimately, CDC will use the National Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System (NNDSS) to identify vaccine breakthrough cases. Once CDC has confirmed that a state can report vaccination history data to NNDSS, CDC will identify vaccine breakthrough cases through that system. At that time, the state health departments can stop reporting cases directly into the REDCap database. After this change, CDC will upload the available data reported to NNDSS into REDCap database for further review and confirmation by the state health department.

--that bolded bit is a national database of the vaxxed and unvaxxed. First written reference I've seen to that specific bit of nastiness.

https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/health-departments/breakthrough-cases.html

--other interesting stuff at that page too, for those with eyes to see and ears to hear.

Aesop piddling down my leg, Oh mighty Marine :-)

I stand behind my comment to talk in the current NON-Permissive Environment is enough to get you arrested WITH OUT doing ANYTHING useful. That's not piddling its commenting that BIG Words and NO Deeds can still put you in the Grey Hotel for the rest of your miserable life.

Thus small teams, closed mouths and bad attitudes. If your going to play in the streets play for keeps not for a White Van extraction into the Grey Hotel.

A few quotes about Courage:

Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you're scared.
~ Edward Vernon Rickenbacker

It is curious that physical courage should be so common in the world and moral courage so rare.
~ Mark Twain

This one applies to Oaths of Service and the Constitution. Moral Courage.

Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.
~ Winston Churchill

By listening beyond the words of your atta-boy friends you can learn a lot of useful information to best avoid the traps. Did you happen to see the "Patriots Rally" in FL coming up? A Feddie Trap-cellphone data grabber just as so many others. Set up next to the local Lock Up, how nice. I wonder how many feddies will be there with Gadson T-Shirts and MAGA Hats to ID and grab the stupid, probably a few days later one by one at their work or such.

In Iraq a common saying was we killed the stupid hotheaded terrorists mostly.

And my favorite:

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear.
~ Ambrose Redmoon

I am a free man.

@Some Guy,
Good point.

As you wish.

@Michael,

Doing NOTHING WHATSOEVER is enough to get you arrested.
Stop worrying about it. But feel free to make plans for Alternate, Contingency, and Emergency measures.

If shutting up was a solution, it might be worth it.
But if telling the Truth makes the Enemy shit his pants, it's got to be done.

6 million Jews, and 5 million other Undesirables thought they could ride out Hitler if they just kept their heads down and their mouths shut.

Didn't work out so well for them.

Points To Remember:

1) You Can't Stop The Signal
2) Every Time You're Told To Shut Up, Turn It Up A Notch
3) If Talking Out Loud Wasn't Effective, They Wouldn't Crack Down On it
4) If They Do Crack Down On It, It's Time To Shoot The Bastards
5) It May Be Time To Shoot the Bastards Even Sooner Than That
6) Muzzle Blast Is Louder Than Vocal Cords

If you are a free man, be a free man. In every sense of that word.
Turn It Up.

Canadian soy boy preaching tyranny for the USA while sitting in the faculty lounge in some third rate college in a second rate country. He's a Twitter tough guy who is all for telling the rest of us how to live as long as someone else has to do the dirty work.
He will be above it all as he watches from his ivory tower, he would wet his pants if someone pushed back and pointed a firearm at his face.

Notice how almost all marxists, faggots, mega cucks, cowards, liars, thieves, muts identify at Twatter. It's a great resource to have/keep/use for the somewhat "quiet" period between the culmination of all in SHTF and then when men gather to restore liberty under the absolute tenets of the U.S. Constitution and its predicate Federalist aka NY Papers. When all scores are settled and those richly deserving get most fully served. Twatter makes a great ruck or dashboard list. Pictures often included. So do "blue checks" go first?

CPB said...

Not sure if you were direct enough, to be honest. I believe there is room for interpretation.

There's a scene in the Italian wartime drama Il Generale Della Rovere, where one of the men waiting for the National Socialists to execute them the next morning says he doesn't deserve to die because he didn't do anything to fight the Germans, and another character tells him that his not doing anything to fight back was why he did deserve it. It's an Italian movie but if you don't mind reading subtitling or if you speak Italian it's well worth watching.

Are there tickets? Do we get to plink out of the slots, or is it extra?

I can weld a bead if that gets me extra.

Just sayin'.
