This Ain't Gonna Work Out Like You Thought, Pt. II

Two germane points to those a continent closer to this than we are:

I) Incoming fire always has the right of way.

II) After the first one, the rest are free.

Si vis pacem, para bellum. I ordered a Virginia lower from https://palmettostatearmory.com/. 10 dollars from each purchase goes to VDAR. just like 160 years ago, I may be called to Virginia just like my Great-Great-Greats, I only hope I am a good a man as those men.

I just got off the phone with a friend of mine who teaches high school in south-central VA. Says all her students are up in arms (so to speak) about the gun-grabbers, so are their parents and grandparents, and there is no way any of this is going to be enforced in her locality. And this isn't even the "reddest" part of the state by a long shot.

My two cents:
1 Don't shoot or in any way attack LEO or National guard troops; it is a sure fire way to turn people away from your cause. Refuse to obey unconstitutional laws but don't refuse to obey the police, your fight is in court not with the police.
2. If you did choose to take someone's life, a politician or other anti-American activist, which I would advise against, do not use a gun. The opposition would use the fact that you used a gun against you. Don't forget they are painting you as rabid killers who are armed.
3, The fight is political, form groups to bring your cause to the public and fight this at the ballot box. Win the hearts and minds of your fellow citizens.
4. Tell your people, your followers and supporters that you are a law abiding supporter of the constitution and anyone who breaks the law does not represent you and your beliefs.

The politicians may want to study up on the history of Northern Virginia during the Past Unpleasantness enrards to the 43rd Battalion of the Virginia Cavalry, sometimes know as .Mosby"s Rangers. 400 men who tied down thousands of Federal troops using small groups in quick raids throughout Northern Virginia and into,Maryland. A lot fewer men could paralyze a substantial chunk of real estate pretty quickly.

"SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS IS LITERALLY THE STATE MOTTO OF VIRGINIA: VA National Guard Issues Statement Over Calls To Enforce Gun Control. “If you read between the lines of the adjutant general’s statement, it’s clear that McEachin’s comment is already causing a stir within the Guard itself. The men and women of the Virginia National Guard signed up to defend freedom, not establish a police state on American soil where soldiers search for scofflaws who refuse to register their rifles with the Virginia State Police.”

Refuse to obey the law ,surrender but obey the police. Translation: Surrender your arms, allow them to bind you, and get into the cattle car. It's all a big mistake. TPTB will understand that you are just a law abiding citizen. You just the right to overthrow them if they decide to take power over every aspect of your life and force you into servitude.

If mass confiscation starts and it doesn't result in violence we have already lost. Where have the courts gotten us? No where. Still have gun ban after gun. We have laws supposed to protect gun owners routinely ignored. We have little support as it is given our own indoctrination kills and mass importation of obedient little peons. If you're not willing to literally fight to keep your gun then you should go ahead take a trip to the buy back or scrap yard. Save yourself the waiting game. Same if you plan on burying it.

@Anonymous - Surrendering on every issue is how we got into this mess. You may feel free to walk into the cattle cars, but I'm not following the Judas Goat anywhere.

I agree that the police are a tool. Like a vicious dog. First you deal with the dog, then you take the fight to the owner who told the dog to bite you.

Many people do not realize that the VIRGINIA Constitution has a Bill of Rights just like the US Constitution. And that BOR has a Second Amendment clause that says EXACTLY what the US Bill of Rights says: "the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." The Governor and his henchman have repeatedly violated their own Oaths of Office and should have resigned years ago. Now, due to millions of outside money being poured into Democrat races, and safe haven illegal immigrant counties where so many idiot liberals have moved from other states, our precious Commonwealth has been hijacked and we are quite literally "looking down the barrels" of what could become a very unpleasant moment in time. Fighting back in the voting booth FAILED miserably and is likely unrecoverable.

But as Captain John Parker famously said on Lexington Green in April 1775: "Stand your ground. Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war let it begin here."

JFYI: The Culpeper County Seal still has the Minutemen on it, despite a recent liberal bureaucratic effort to replace it with "something more modern..." The howling protests are still ringing in my ears.

And God Bless Sheriff Jenkins.

If the Democrats in our Legislature think they are going to get away with this effort to deprive us of our freedoms, they are making a serious mistake. I hope they take heed.

I am an old woman, but I can still hold my own. There are thousands like me. We are not happy.

It will be interesting to see what kind of response the Virginia State Defense Force ("The Governor's Men) makes concerning this issue. I haven't seen anything about it in the national or local papers. These are all volunteers who are NOT part of the National Guard and cannot be activated to serve with the military. They signed up to protect their state and fellow Virginians, like a local militia.

There need to be people planning Recall Elections!
Why? For one thing it's the seem strategy the Dems used against President Trump to reduce his momentum. While the new Governor and Reps are fighting against the recall it's time and money they won't be spending on something else (that you are not going to like).
Plus, now that they have revealed that their only agenda is seizing guns; what's their support and can they be removed?

III. Prepare For Death, Your Own

Whenever I learn of pre-Boogaloo GovFor positioning like Virginia, I get a familiar icy-blood feeling. I hate it, but I know what it does.

Walking with Death, the stock-in-trade of war. It's a real shock to the system I know first hand. Take the worst fear you've ever experienced and multiply it by 1000.

Now go make those 500 yard moving target first round hits.

Excuse me I have some training to do.

The proposed laws are void since they violate both U.S. and Virginia Constitutions. Of course, the governor won't see it that way.

Suppose you, the wife and the kids are comming home from church. An officer pulls you over and tells you that a search has been conducted at your house, illegal firearms found and confiscated. You are arrested, but later released.

Do you see now the utility of having an AR-15 burried with 10 mags and a 1000 rounds.

That will all fit in 6" ABS and be safe forever, just waiting for the need.

EXACTLY Trumpeter,

Wont matter if its the police, or crack heads that kicked in your door, or you pull in to a blazing inferno, any way it happens,if they were all in there, most likely your guns/ammo will be gone.

There are a million reasons to at least have one you can always count on if its buried, cant think of one reason its a bad idea, unless you only have that one.(phhhhth... who here only has the one).

Thanks Aesop. Again. At this point it's worth repeating what Mike Vanderboegh (RIP) admonished many of us:

Doctrine of the Three Percent in a few sentences.

The Three Percent are the citizens the Founders counted on to save the Republic when everyone else abandoned it. And we will. There will be no more free Wacos and no more free Katrinas. For we are the Three Percent. We will not disarm. You cannot convince us. You cannot intimidate us. You can kill us, if you think you can. But remember, we’ll shoot back. We are not going away. We are not backing up another inch. And there are THREE MILLION OF US. The next move, if any, is up to the aspiring tyrants among the domestic enemies of the Constitution.

In essence...These four principles:

1. Moral strength
2. Physical readiness
3. No first use of force
4. NO targeting of innocents

Something tells me anonymous that had you been around in the 1770's instead
of today that you would be counseling folks to don the prototype of kneepads
and smearing either butter or pig lard on their lips to fellate both the
Redcoats and their officers along with the loyalist governors...aka 'The King's
Men'. There would have been NO original fight for independence..in fact in
your manner of thought, the Declaration wouldn't have existed as it would
have been considered 'terrorist hate speech' and not allowed to be written
or distributed.

Who do you think are 'the King's Men' today?...the very men and women
who VOLUNTEERED to be the badged orcs and orcettes in every level of
government who, for their paychecks alone, WILL deprive one of life,
liberty and property on the say-so of one of the parasites robed priesthood
or their corporate employees in either the senate or congress. For those
like you it's, "We're being oppressed and compressed by TPTB but hey, we're
in Venezuela and we've proven that communism DOES work, so viva the system!..
we may not like the enforcers but we voted for it and we have to respect the
system as we're a democracy even though we're in communist Venezuela..to do
otherwise would upset people and make us look bad!"

Just remember this, when TPTB runs out of fiat crap and runs the presses
night and day, Weimar/Zimbabwe hyperinflation WILL be the immediate result..
how long will the badged orcs, orcettes and national guard 'be on the job'
when their paychecks are either cancelled, or promised in name only but
never seen again?...

my friends, now is the time to dig up you guns, not bury them. if you have two, hand one to your neighbor with none. the fuse is lit. there is little time left, make the most of it.

It seems to me, if the police or Guard begin to search and seize weapons from otherwise law-abiding citizens, then they have shown themselves to be enemies of the people. They can no longer be depended on to protect the citizens, because they have chosen to side with the politicians instead.

I do not call on anyone to harm any of the LEO's, but I can understand how citizens would see them as the enemy in cases like these.

Law enforcers have the right to refuse unlawful orders. They can remain in their barracks or stations, or they can resign and walk away. If they choose to move against the people, they mark themselves as the enemy, and they take their chances on the outcome.
