Sunday Music: Love Will Keep Us Together

Toni and the Captain proving with their #1 single, in 1975, that Sedaka was back. Oh, and it didn't keep them together; they eventually parted company after 39 years of marriage. But they lasted longer than most, especially in show business. If I hear this, I'm back in 1975 again. There are worse places to be.

This is right around the time I started remembering popular songs. Happy 8-Track Memories.

I heard this song today, at the fish market in Seattle's Fisherman's Terminal... :)

I read someplace that the only reason they split was because the medical bill necessitated it. She was still caring for him in the end, even though officially they had divorced.

@Mordineus,
That wouldn't surprise me a bit, and it explains much.

Ah, yes, 1975. The year I married the current wife. Fond memories of it I have.

Always did think Toni Tenille was pretty hot. The Captain, on the other hand, looked to me like a mental defective.

A classic, perfectly performed.
