I'm torn between the George C. Scott and Patrick Stewart versions as to which is better. Although I love both and would watch either.

I like Patrick, and his version, but George nailed this.
Actually, my favorite version is The Muppet Christmas Carol. Which probably says a lot about me as a person.

I may get yelled at for saying this, but "The Muppet Christmas Carol" with Michael Caine will always be my favorite of all the versions, and no, I don't feel ashamed in saying that.

I concurr 100% with Aesop’s ranking of George C. Scott’s magnificent interpretation of A Christmas Carol. By far the best IMHO. In fact I’m about to pop it in the dvd and get myself in the Christmas spirit. Merry Christmas all.
Damn....I'm so old, I remember the "Mr. Magoo" (cartoon) version as a little kid...it was burned into my memory and imprinted.
