Peter, at Bayou Renaissance Man, has some thoughts on the question.
My TL;DR answer would be "No."
That America was finally smothered with a pillow on Nov. 3rd, 2020. All that remains is a shambling zombie corpse of What Was.
Peter's conclusion, oft-repeated, is
"We cannot kill our way out of the dilemma of being human, with all the tragedy that entails."
But we aren't trying to "kill our way out of being human".
We're looking and expecting to be killing the evil communist would-be overlords who oppress, knee-jerk, everyone they can see. That, we can most certainly do. And ought to. Some people just don't learn until you shoot them in the face. Challenge accepted. Say "When."
Because you can absolutely kill your way to an America we remember, it's just one with a lot fewer people standing when it's all over: the ones not compatible with a nation of laws and a land of liberty. That kind of liberty is a binary equation, not shades of gray. You either want it, and have it, or you don't.
We have no choice about "killing our way" out of Clown World.
The other side fully intends to kill you into it, if necessary (and they'll make sure it is). They're not even shy about telling you, out loud, and in print, publicly. They've done so times without number, just in the last six months. Brighter types recognize such behavior as a "clue".
You can resolve to taste bad when they throw you to the lions, or you can gear up to start killing the zookeepers and ringmasters.
You're not going to carve out an enclave of freedom. Ask South Vietnam how that worked out. Run it by Israel. Have a chat in Miami with some freedom-loving Cubans. Let me know how it went in Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary. Consult the Chinese in Taiwan about the odds on that.
You have no Mason-Dixon line of freedom behind which to retreat. You don't have one single 100% red county, anywhere, let alone a full state. Nor would such an option be tolerated, for so much as an instant.
This fight is going to be street to street, house to house, floor to floor, and room to room. Period. You cannot gainsay your way out of what's coming, and you can't gaslight those who tell you what's coming. Reality has an annoying habit of kicking down your door, and grabbing you by the throat, long past the time you should have heard it coming up the street.
There's nowhere left to run, and no other way out of this, unless the other side all commits seppuku, and/or turns themselves in for delusional criminal psychosis and sociopathy.
Wish for that latter unlikelihood in one hand, and crap in the other, and tell us which one fills up first.
I would counsel sharpening your hatchet, and loading magazines.
"Easy" went by in the rear view mirror about 50 years ago. It's so far gone you can't see it from where you are now.
The choice now is between bloody conflict, and putting a noose around your own neck and kicking off from the chair, hoping to dance your way to heaven.
When last I looked, suicide was considered a mortal sin, but a just war was considered an eminently forgivable necessity.
Life guarantees sadness.
You want sunny days and happiness, you're going to have to fight your way there.
Best stop daydreaming for a miraculous last-second salvation, and start planning for bitter life-and-death strife.
You aren't likely to be disappointed.
