A couple of notes for those who thought this was a good idea:
1) When your big slogan is "Remember How Well We Did With COVID?", you probably want to stay the hell away from anything medical or healthcare related for about 100 years.
2) I don't think I'd want to use the word "shot" anytime the rest of this century either, in connection with any idea coming out of the White House.

You can eliminate a substantial amount of cancer deaths, if you eliminate the people that get cancer. From my vantage point, that's exactly what's happening.
You can eliminate deaths from cancer by counting those who die of cancer but have had a positive test for Covid as David died of not with Covid. You can also record record jobs by letting people go back to work the jobs they had that you shut down with Pandemic restrictions. Joe is so smart.

No body cares about dead terrorists anymore that's how dumb TPTB are. We know what's coming and are stressed by our attempts to prepare for it.
This gem is sad not funny or uplifting as if a cancer cure would ever be attempted by big pharma. There is no money in cures.

The .gov pivoting to cancer suggests to me that they expect cancer cases to rise sharply.

That and Skylers' comment that they will reduce cancer deaths in the same way that they eliminated the seasonal flu in 2020. Lying.

I've noticed that many bin medical people treat cancer as a single entity... There at least dozens of types of it, maybe hundreds, from different causes and sometimes none (according to current science).
There won't be a single cure for cancer, ever. There will hundreds or even thousands of cures for it.
And it will take 75 years to release the data.
Top preventable cause of cancer is tobacco, followed distantly by some combo of alcohol, obesity, and sun exposure.
So they will what, ban smoking? Ban alcohol (again)? Ban food?
They are pretty good at banning that last, those commies. And I get the feeling that banning stuff makes them all warm down in their nether bits.
Then you have to wait 30 years for all those who already have 100 pack years in their system to die off.
Or, they can simply fake the numbers. Hey, they could use the same group that ran the last election. Problem solved.
Sigh. It’s appalling just how absurdly stupid, incompetent, and corrupt our “leaders” are.
