Literal Literary Truth

Were also the ones that grow the food , pump the oil , pay the bills, Pay the taxes , make modern life modern. What happens when we decide to quit selling food to inhumane people? Pumping oil for inhumane people? Paying the taxes that fund inhumane people? Eventually every real American will have to make this choice and we know what the answer will be. So why wait until they are powerful enough to remain in power indefinitely?

And some twat on twitter was saying our guns will be useless because as a former mortar man, he'll just need to drop a few rounds on us.
That will work really well if I'm standing next to his family......................

@ Matthew W:

I saw that. What a joke. A '3 man mortar team' is all he'll need...I guess he won't be needing a forward observer to laze his targets. Unless, of course, he wants to conduct his fire missions in close proximity of his targets, in which case I suppose he won't need anyone manning defensive positions around his tube so his '3 man team' doesn't get picked off while they're busy sighting targets, prepping the mortars, and loading/firing.

To say nothing of his assumption that his targets won't have any knowledge whatsoever of counter battery fire.

Mr Mortar Man is thinking in standard military grunt terms. And he is thinking in two dimensions, X & Y, and forgetting the Z axis.

If this $hit ever goes truly sideways, it's not going to be a "standard" civil war. It's going to be more like "popup" thunderstorms; seemingly individual, until they gather into a big storm front that generates tornadoes.

Let me point out something the RC/drone aviation crowd has known for quite sometime: It is not hard, if you know how, to hand fly a large drone carrying an explosive payload into targets "over the horizon".
No, even the big drones can't carry a large payload. But a 2-seat "ultralight" can easily carry a 250-300lb lb payload, and with modern avionics, be programmed to fly to a GPS coordinate at a certain altitude. At a cost of far less than most non-aviators would think.

John Ross's book "Untended Consequences" should be required reading for folks like Mr Mortar Man...

Administrative note:

The comments policy has lain undisturbed for some years over on the right side of the front page, for those who can read. When the screeds that you spent all day and three crayons working on doesn't appear here, mayhap ponder its contents in light of that policy before your next efforts.

The most deserving ones are only given exception to that policy for the purposes of mockery and our own entertainment.

So if you're neither so retarded you're amusing, nor intelligent enough to color between the lines, as some 25K of your fellow commenters have managed to date, your efforts will be as if you never bothered.

The internet will miss you about as much as it would a scorching case of genital herpes.
Which, 99:1, is probably about how most folks regard you IRL as well.

And then his targets will have a mortar too. Ho ho ho...
