Pardons be damned. Prosecute every one of the bastards anyways, down to the lowest level, and force them to prove their innocence, or proof of clemency, in court, after paying lawyers $1000/hr. Even if they've got pardons, they can all be compelled to testify fully and truthfully about every single crime they committed, or face fresh perjury charges which those pardons don't cover. Get their serial felonies on the public record, on national TV, 24/7. That will end any do-overs down the road, for thousands of them. And invariably, it'll turn up new co-conspirators not covered by pardons, who can - and should - be prosecuted to the hilt. Make the J6 Witch hunt look like a church egg toss. Make Retribution Great Again!
If nothing like that happens, it's all One Big Con, and the entire country is the mark.
Write that on your hand with a Sharpie, lest ye forget.
And bear well in mind, that's only taking cognizance of the current national political climate. The time may be far shorter than that. Remember that the incoming president is 78 years old, and 78 year-olds, even healthy ones, drop dead all the time, for every reason under the sun, including none at all besides random happenstance.
That's also not looking at geopolitical, economic, or eleventy other Swords Of Damocles hanging over humanity's head already. The whacktards they conned into pulling their own pants down on Doomsday Preppers were always only concerned about one ridiculous and highly improbable scenario, like being overrun by zombie Bigfoot hordes, or somesuch far-fetched idiocy. Real life isn't Retard TV plots. Actual preppers are concerned about every single real-life pear-shaped possibility. That's the difference between prudence, and psychotic delusion.
The beauty of being any kind of prepared is that there's a 95% crossover in terms of what you need to have in place, for any one apocalyptically bad day, as compared to any other one. It's the same eight to twelve main things, over and over. That's always been true.
Time flies. So get right, or get left.
But hope for hangings in batches in Lafayette Park, across from the White House. It doesn't cost you anything, and it's a consummation devoutly to be wished. Plus, whether it happens, or doesn't, you'll soon know exactly where you stand in the grand scheme. And full shelves and ammo cans will always gladden your heart, and make up for a host of empty promises.

Not in jest, it's a Pay per View Golden opportunity
For once we agree!
Yeah, unlike most people, the cheeto Jesus will have to prove himself 5D world chess champion after his first go-round. You, me, and the cat next door knew he was surrounding himself w/ swamp critters, yet he did it anyway. How many career politicians are in his current crop? How many favors did he pay off? What did he promise Bibi...
How can ( = being able) national leadership (correctly) confront past evil (including political opponents) without that becoming a cyclical pattern depending on what group manages to squeeze into power? Dialogues that do not recognize this as a foundationally serious question are at minimum creating a disastrous precedent. I'd argue they also ignore realities about human nature.
I propose two means of accomplishing that 'be able to'.
First: scrupulous, evident, transparent honesty in prosecution. Make it so clear that even the uninitiate to legal intricacies recognize the specific case is not made up as the prosecution goes along. Ie, that an actual law was scorned, an actual felony committed. Maybe also as part of this first: don't go after every single person who did indeed commit even a felony in, say, the J6 event. Instead, despite this being a difficult process, select only the top dogs. (Not only will the others note, but there's the practical reality: justice is not free. Court space and time and personnel cost.) Make it clear that the sequence is not about retribution, but about establishing the rule of law. Lex, Rex.
Second: (This might prove even more controversial and difficult than the first, but remember this is about establishing the rule of law while simultaneously avoiding creating a cyclical pattern of retribution.) After an accomplished and very public conviction and (!) imposition of lawfully appropriate penalties, via presidential pardon power cancel the penalties (except, maybe of imposing part of the court costs). Make clear this is an act of mercy done for the good of the nation.

Indeed, but permit me to offer a 4D chess move. A pardon when issued eliminates 5th Amendment protections. The perp of choice can't be prosecuted hence they legally need to provide the details of any questioning. Now a inquisitor would lay a few traps of known knowns that should the individual refuse to answer at least triggers a contempt charge if not better. Its a win-win either way:
* They provide/confirm information that was of interest. Or,
* They end up serving a few months in the pokey.
Agree. Expectations are being set very high, and by people who have done BIG things before. In other words: it is believable. We'll know in February.
Nothing will happen, nobody is going to be arrested, there will be no subpoenas. The swamp will insure that the incoming administration is stonewalled at every turn. The depth and power of the entrenched bureaucracy is simply beyond touching. Trump and some of his associates mean well and may try but his administration will be just another speed bump in the road to America's destruction.

I hear ukraine is still pursuing corruption charges against hunter biden, and a presidential pardon does not cover foreign courts of law.
the sole saving grace for hunter is ukraine does not have an extradition treaty with the US...but the EU does. the moment ukraine joins the EU, he can be extradited to ukraine for trial.
I am very skeptical that there will be anything done regarding the criminals on the Potomac. Hoping I am wrong
I believe Justin_O_Gray nailed it! Trump's just the guy, too. Let Dana White manage the show, use the $$$ to offset the deficit!
Prosecute them at the state level! As NY and Fatass-Fanni did to Trump. Presidential Pardon's pardon the offender from FEDERAL crimes and prosecutions, not state level.
This is the danger, that Trump goes along to get along.
Meanwhile, right out in public, this is already happening. Making the guilty pay the victim (aka restitution) seems to me altogether fitting as well as correct. The last case in the link at 10 figure$ ought give pause. (I think that in too many cases settlements occur in which the P.C. victim is finally entitled to continue, eg, baking unWoke cakes, but not recompensed for the lawfare abuse.)
