Goose, Meet Sauce

Many of you have seen this douchebadge online recently:

Captured widely before he deleted it.

Seems Matt thinks the internet works only one way. Pisser.

So I had a little look around. !!!

Linkie

Meet Matt Croyle. He is an elected official in Pennsylvania. Even worse, he’s a state constable. After being exposed for posting threatening messages about Trump supporters, he deleted his X account. I went to his Facebook, where he’s still active, & found a post where he wished an assassination attempt against Trump. I did some more digging & it appears he’s a fan of democrat Governor Shapiro, too. Spoke with the Pennsylvania Constable office & the Oil City Police Department, as well as sent an email w/ the threatening messages. Perhaps, he deserves a Secret Service visit, too. It would be a shame if this went viral.

Yes, that's all correct. it turns out that Matthew J. Croyle, 47, of Oil City PA was elected to a 6-year term as a state constable, from Ward 1 in Oil City, PA, last December 27. Which is a badged-and-sworn LEO elected job with some rather oddball quasi-police duties in PA.

Bonus factoid: Once you explore PA constables, now you know where the Keystone Kops comedy trope idea came from.

Linkie

But wait! there's more!

Show me the man, and I'll show you the crime.

I'm sure this is just the sort of thing local, state, and federal officials, not to mention all the local and regional papers, would like to know about Mr. Croyle, and just the sort of behavior they and the citizenry encourage in elected state officials.

I think it's also pretty clear who the pissed-off far-left whackadoodle is in this episode.

For the reader's reference:

They even have a "Report a Crime" button on their website.

City Manager Mark G. Schroyer, the Mayor, and the City Council might also like a heads-up re: "Constable" Croyle.

Mgr. Schroyer can be contacted at (814) 678-3012.

He has a web page as well.

Just a wild hunch, but I'm sure the local, county, and state officials in that part of Pennsylvania (Venango County, PA: 58% Republican) would loooooove to read all about what an unhinged lunatic the folks of Oil City have elected as a State Constable, and what sort of nutjobbery he's been up to online this week.

That's before any reports to the Secret Service. Right?

I'm sure those folks will fall about the place laughing, knowing that a badged and sworn PA state LEO thinks whackadoodles taking potshots at former presidents and current presidential candidates is amusing. Because they're so well-known for their love of that kind of knee-slapping hijinks.

United States Secret Service contact website

Be a good citizen.

They might think it's a good idea to have a sit-down convo with Mr. Croyle every time President Trump drops into the Keystone State between now and November. It's a battleground state, so Mr. Croyle may become an awfully popular fellow for the feds to have chats with this summer and fall.

BTW, the Wikipedia page for PA State Constables has a lengthy list of the recent former ones thrown out of office for various crimes and misdeeds. Imagine that.

There may be good cause for a Red Flag order too. Croyle sounds a wee bit unhinged. Stranger things have happened.

Feel free to contact the local newspapers and TV stations in nearby Pittsburgh:

CBS

NBC

ABC

There's also the ABC affiliate in Erie, PA.

Maybe Friday is a slow news day for some of them.

Let's hope Mr. Croyle enjoys his covfefe as much as his coffee, and has an interesting month or two.

BTW, if you imagine me struggling to stay upright in my chair as I typed this, while convulsing in laughter, you wouldn't be too far off the mark.

Sauce For the Goose?

h/t Common Cents

If this is The Sun's April Fool's joke, it's a scorcher. Apparently Russia complained that Ukraine forces sent two Mi-24 helicopter gunships 25 miles inside Russia to blow up an oil tank farm in Belgorod last night.

Complained to who? Boo frickin' hoo, Vlad. You thought this was only going to be one-way, on a two-way range?

Greetings from Kyiv!

Cue some Russian general saying this:

We can only hope this is real, and not a prank. (It's on about 14 media sites, when last we looked.) Perhaps it might inject some sanity into the situation, and induce less delusional thinking to take control of events in the region. If it's a prank, we thoroughly enjoyed it. If it isn't: even more so.

Molon Labe, Cykᴻ!

They really are, no questions asked. In the capital city.

The Ukrainian people are smarter, better trained, better equipped, and far better motivated against the Russians than the mujahideen were in A-stan, and the muj still threw both us and the Russians out of that sh*thole.

Vlad is about to be in the position of the dog that chased cars, and then caught one.

I don't think it's going to work out for him quite the way he thought, and he doesn't have 1980 height-of-the-Cold-War levels of troops to lose, either. House-to-house in Kiev, Kharkiv, Odessa, etc., is liable to be a cast iron bitch, the kind infantry nightmares are made of.

And that whole "a rifle behind every blade of grass" thing is a real kick in the nuts, and will be for years and years to come, even if Ukraine falls.

Most of the breakaways have been waiting 70 years to do to the Russians what the Ukrainians are doing tonight. And probably will continue to do, for the next ten years, win or lose.

Finally, as a public service to the people of Ukraine, we forward the following official Ukrainian government information:

Gives "fire water" a whole new meaning.

Running For Their Political Lives

 h/t Irons In The Fire

Too little, too late.

And one or two other things changed: banking, and trucking.

Which is also why he flipped so fast.

People are doing a permanent runner on the Canuckistani banks, which may become endless until it all crashes. Funny how once you lose trust in the entire system, and it's a trust-based system, it implodes. Turdoo was sick the day they taught that in dictator school.

Mooselini Turdoo wanted to see what happened when he drove the banking system into a brick wall, just to try out the airbags, and it turns out there were no bumpers on the car.

Oh well. Right, Turdoo?

Howzat cunning plan working out for you, eh?

And truckers?

Most of them went home, all right.

And now they're starting to refuse to haul to Ottawa.

Pisser, eh?

And "Je refuse!" is something the Canuckistani dotGov can't do anything about, unlike protests in the streets.

Gonna send the RCMP to beat up their mothers, perhaps? Or not so much?

4GW, right up the bunghole.

We're maybe about to find out how long people in Ottawa can live on rat and pigeon soup and sawdust bread. In winter. Should be an interesting experiment.

I hope nothing happens to the rail lines into the capitol. That might make things even worse.

Color Me Shocked...

 h/t I Hate The Media

(People's Republic Of Oz) Health Minister Foley announced 867 new COVID cases recorded yesterday.  During the statistical outline Foley identifies 375 people as hospitalized, 81 people in intensive care and 61 people on a ventilator.   Then comes the statistic everyone in government and media ignore.  Amid the recorded cases “78% of the hospital cases are fully vaccinated, and 17% are partially vaccinated (1 dose)”….

That means 95% of the COVID patients in Victoria hospitals are vaccinated.

At the 2:45 mark:

Whoopsie. 95% of those hospitalized, which obviously includes the most critical cases, were vaxxed. So much for that "lessens the severity of the illness" fairytale. Funny how you've never heard this, from three weeks ago, at anytime on the lamestream news, not even once, huh?

And the best clip I've seen, at Cold Fury:
Interviewer: "So all these millions of people that got the shots, they're just stupid?"
Ted Nugent: "Yup."

For those in the readership who made that choice, my sympathies. I'm sure you acted in what you thought was your best interest at the time, and in good faith. No one, at this point, should be so similarly bamboozled by the lies of officialdom. And you'll understand if the rest of us choose not to share your fate, out of enlightened self-interest in our own long-term health prospects. And to those who inflicted this not-a-vaxx on us?

A Time For Choosing

"Today you will choose..."

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new guards for their future security." - Declaration of Independence, 1776

When last I looked, that declaration signed by the Continental Congress in 1776, has never been subsequently revoked.

If TPTB swear Biden in, knowing full well the scope of fraud was so enormous as to be visible from space, there's no reason not to raise the black flag, and start slitting throats.

I am not speaking metaphorically nor in parables.

From that moment forward, it's on like Donkey Kong, and anything that happens after that is fair game.

Wrap your heads around that fact: there is no law restraining any conduct once all law has been thusly violated. Period.

Marquess Of Queensbury Rules will be notable by their absence.

Yap all you want about who will or won't play.
You're beating your gums and your keyboards in vain.

Some people will, and when they do, they'll be entirely within their rights as human beings for doing so.

Anyone and everyone too timid to join the fray at that point deserves whatever happens to them afterwards.

The only question germane to discussion at that moment is

"Will you be a serf, or a free man?"

The only Rule Of War is simple:

"Don't lose."

"Dear DNC: The only thing missing is you..."

Bienvenido a Reality, Cabrón

h/t Gateway Pundit

(BAJA SH*THOLIA) President Trump on Thursday evening announced that a 5% tariff will be imposed on all Mexican imports beginning June 10th and will gradually increase until the illegal immigration stops.
“On June 10th, the United States will impose a 5% Tariff on all goods coming into our Country from Mexico, until such time as illegal migrants coming through Mexico, and into our Country, STOP. The Tariff will gradually increase until the Illegal Immigration problem is remedied at which time the Tariffs will be removed. Details from the White House to follow,” Trump tweeted earlier.
Over 100,000 illegal aliens are entering the US every month making bogus asylum claims only to be released into US communities.
Just hours after President Trump announced he will be imposing 5% tariffs on Mexican imports over illegal immigration, Mexico’s president Lopez-Obrador sent Trump a letter begging for a meeting to work toward a solution.
Funny how that works, isn't it, Andres?

If you weren't letting people by the millions every year come here illegally to vent the pressure on your failed country, we wouldn't have this problem.

So now Uncle Donald has decided to piss in your cornflakes every day until you learn to stop letting that happen. And it's going to be an expensive lesson - for you.

Ask China how that's working out for them these days.

Curiously, not a peep from the media about why this approach wasn't tried by Presidents Obozo, Dubbya, Fat Bill, Daddy Bush, or anyone else since Eisenhower's Operation Wetback rounded up every stray north of the Rio Grande.

Because they already know no one else WANTED to stop illegal immigration before now.

DLTDHYITAOYWO

h/t Borepatch

After doing everything in her miserable grasp to thwart the clearly expressed wishes of the British people regarding Brexit, Prime Minister May December has finally heard the squeaking of the tumbrel cart wheels, and can see the torches and pitchforks of the distant mob approaching, and will be leaving her office after the mother of all drubbings in the recent parliamentary elections.
(LONDONISTAN) Standing in front of 10 Downing Street, Mrs. May said it was in the “best interests of the country for a new prime minister” to lead Britain through the Brexit process.
Good riddance to bad rubbish. Pity she's clinging to the office for another few days.

She's indeed fortunate that her leaving isn't for a piano-wire necklace at the end of a lamppost, after being ritually scourged from 10 Downing Street to Traitor's Gate.

Apparently the actual British citizens remaining there would have had to blow up the Chunnel to get any respect, if politically beheading the ruling party at the polls didn't send the message across clearly enough.

I had written No Longer great Britain off completely, but perhaps there's still some life in the old corpse left.

And after the examples of Trump, Bolsonaro, Oz, and now this, I wouldn't go long on the chances of the Evil Party here in 2020.

Cheer up: things are not as bleak as they seem. And they never are.

(For those inevitably wondering about the title, it starts out "Don't Let the Door Hit You...". You can work the rest out for yourselves.)

Jillette™ : Razors For Little Bitches Gets A Lesson In Capitalism

h/t Grouchy Old Cripple

Since apparently everyone at Jillette Pussy Products™ was asleep the day the business econ 101 professor was teaching about Adam Smith's "invisible hand" of the marketplace, he may have mentioned somewhat that it frequently comes in the form of a bitchslap from your competitors.

Barbasol's brilliant ad, above, and old but newly current, just left stinging red hand prints on Jillette™'s face.
On both sides.

Jillette™ will shortly rank behind Lady Schick in men's razor sales, in all likelihood. They may as well sponsor revivals of RuPaul's Drag Race and Queer Eye For The Straight Guy over on Bravo!, because they're done as a men's product company, unless they walk this disaster back, with cleats, over their own bleeding manginas.

And while we're giving GOC props, here's some more payback come a'calling:

Day Whatever Of The "Who Cares?" Shutdown

President Trump is a few days away from being able to lay off hundreds of thousands of "non-essential" government workers permanently, at a penstroke.

Which is a fine start.

And at that point, there's no longer any shutdown. Just the Trump administration saving millions of tax dollars daily, going forward.

If the Dems cave, Trump wins. If they don't cave, Trump wins.

The Dumbocrats have slugged this tar baby with both fists and both feet, and now they don't know what to do. And even their own side knows they're idiots.

Stock up on popcorn and refreshments.

The day Trump tells 800,000 "non-essential" government workers "You're fired!", he cements the 2020 GOP nomination. {Google: Reagan/PATCO if you're unclear on this.}
No Republican president back to Coolidge ever dared do as much.
The day the Dems cave and give him any funding for a wall, he locks up the 2020 general election.

Dear Queen Alzheimer's: Don't like more President Trump? This shutdown is how you get more President Trump.

Looks like your boondoggle trip isn't the only thing shot down and grounded by the President. This is what happens when the Speaker of the House tries to play high-stakes poker with a deuce-level mind against the King of Diamonds.

And as this drags on, he's as likely to say "No, sorry, $5B was the offer last month. But with layoffs, I've freed up tons of government money going forward. Now the offer is $10B for the Wall, or nothing. Next month, it's $20B. Your move. -click-"

I haven't seen anyone do anything as gloriously stupid as this shutdown standoff since 30M illegals decided to show us "A Day Without A Mexican", and the freeway traffic was the lightest it's been here in 20 years.

Foreign Policy Via Twitter

And the unspoken Other Shoe in that Tweet:
"Dear Mexico: You're next on my sh*t list!"

The standard responses I've seen are best summed up by Kenny's post titled
"F**k that, bomb 'em"".

Au contraire, that would be the worst thing to do, for a host of reasons.
And that's the wrong hammer, for a problem that's not a nail. Yet.

Let's don't get recockulous.

You don't fly 1000 miles away to bomb a refugee column, even if it's 98% military-aged male invaders. If we ever do that, it gets done when they're 20 miles away, not 1000 (and after the mid-term elections, if ever). This nonsense is just a sideshow to bigger things.

But if we decided to seize a one-mile-wide buffer 2000 miles long on their side, and invest it with troops while we build the wall, that would be reasonable.

Seizing all remittances to those countries automatically, as the fruit of illegal activity, and contributing to terrorism, would also stop this nonsense in about a heartbeat, fund the military action, and hit those countries where they live. In Mexico alone, it's some good fraction of their yearly GDP, and if it were gone, they'd be in open revolution in about a week.

It would also cost $0 to implement Monday morning.
Demanding Congress permanently outlaw the practice to those countries would similarly be reasonable.

Telling Mexico if they want that brand new trade treaty to stand they'd better end this nonsense is also correct.
If they want to see their food prices quadruple, all they need to do is ignore us.
Once again, that'd be the cue for open revolution in Mexico.

Which would make a military buffer both prudent and necessary.
It means we could then start rounding up illegals as enemy aliens, and deport them permanently over that wall, once and for all.

27 problems solved, by Friday next, at that point, and without bombing anyone or mostly without firing a single shot.

You play ball with the U.S., or you get the bat shoved up your tailpipe.

Mexico is about to learn that lesson, yet again.
Bigly.

But if they want a permanent DMZ-style border, forever, pushing them permanently into Central America, or else taking this as the last warning to fix Shitholia once and for all, and join North America, this idiocy is the right way to go about either outcome.

Which also ought to give ex-pat whiners like Fred Reed reason enough to go deep on tanning spray and tequila and get fluent in Spanish, or slink back to the country he currently lampoons from the safety of Rancho Gringo in Baja Turdistan.

Win-win.

¡Viva!

End Of The Gravy Train Coming...

h/t Gateway Pundit

(MORDOR ON THE POTOMAC) The House voted Friday to audit special counsel Robert Mueller's team to see how he's spending money as he investigates alleged collusion between Russia and President Trump's campaign.
Lawmakers voted 207-201 to attach the language to a veterans, military construction, and energy and water spending bill that was headed to pass Friday.
The Justice Department reported in December that Mueller had spent nearly $7 million on the first four months of the investigation.

Eighteen months for this witch hunt, at over $1M/month, and he's got jack and $#!^ to show for it?!?

Fire his ass, turn over everything to the world, unclassified, unredacted, and walk the f**k away.

Then let the trials of Mueller, Comey, Clapper, Brennan, Lynch, and Felonia von Pantsuit commence in earnest. Probably HopeyDopey too, as he obviously knew about misuse of federal investigations to infiltrate and sabotage an opposing campaign, which is probably only about a dozen federal felonies right there.

After a week - or better yet, a year and a day - in the orange jumpsuit pen post sentencing, TPTB can perhaps commute the sentences for Clinton and Obozo if they want, to time served, to "spare the country the stress of seeing their heroes where they belong".
If Attila the Trump is feeling like it then.

The douchebags who toadied along do the full nut.

Time To Cut Dick's Off

h/t Silicon Graybeard

Springfield Armory press release:
"GENESEO, IL, (05/03/18) – Springfield Armory is severing ties with Dick’s Sporting Goods and its subsidiary, Field & Stream, in response to their hiring a group for anti-Second Amendment lobbying.

This latest action follows Dick’s Sporting Goods’ decision to remove and destroy all modern sporting rifles (MSR) from their inventory. In addition, they have denied Second Amendment rights to Americans under the age of 21. We at Springfield Armory believe that all law abiding American citizens of adult age are guaranteed this sacred right under our Constitution.

It is clear where Dick’s Sporting Goods and its subsidiary, Field & Stream, stand on the Second Amendment, and we want to be clear about our message in response. Their position runs counter to what we stand for as a company. At Springfield Armory, we believe in the right and principles fought for and secured by American patriots and our founding forefathers, without question. We will not accept Dick’s Sporting Goods’ continued attempts to deny Second Amendment freedoms to our fellow Americans."
SA has this right, just as Ronnie Barrett was right to refuse to sell or repair his Barrett rifles for state agencies here when Califrutopia banned them for private citizens.

As SiG asks in his post:
"How about it, gentlemen?  Glock, Ruger, Remington, Sig Sauer, Savage, Smith&Wesson, Taurus, and any of the multitude, I'm lookin' at you!"
I second that response. WTF, gun companies?
Stop being cucked by the biggest Dick's in the sporting goods world.
There are other stores to service and patronize instead.

Dicks doesn't want to sell some guns? Fine.
Refuse to sell them any.
Refuse to service any they ship you for warranty repair.
Refuse to accept any they try to return for credit.
Cut off any wholesalers who ship your products to them.
Boycotts work both ways.

If a bunch of Dick's want to be gunless, it's time to make gun sales Dickless.
Then they can compete with the tofu-slurping Birkenstock merchant sporting goods stores for best selection of camping cappucino makers and faggy sandals.

But have some balls, and cut off Dick's.
NSSF threw them out on their asses, and it's time for every other member company to cut them off from any more product, of any kind.

Start hammering the phones and e-mail addresses of those gun companies.
Then ammo makers.
Then accessory sellers.

Me?
After a few sharp query letter, I'm shopping for a Springfield GI-stock 1911 this week.
I'm suddenly in the market.
And for bonus points, it shoves a finger in the eye of anti-gunners in their home state of Ill-Annoy, like f'rinstance Hizzoner, Prince of Gangbangerland, Deadfish Emmanuel in Chicongo.

Cut off Dick's, piss off malignant Libtards, support a solid company with its head on straight and its crap in one bag, and get a solid product to boot.

That right there is a Grand Slam of Freedom.
Bonus offer: The first ammo company to follow suit with Springfield Armory's new policy, I'm buying a full case of their .45ACP.

And for the record, if stickers start showing up at the nearest Dick's, and on inspection tags inside their garment's pockets, and windshield fliers on the cars in their parking lots, day after day and week after week, saying "Dick's hates freedom", it wasn't me, I don't know anything about it, and you can't prove a damned thing.

Because it's on the Internet.
Anybody could have done it.
QED

Dick's doesn't like the Second Amendment?
The First is gonna piss 'em off even more.
Bet on that.

That's not gunfire. It's the sound of Freedom, baby!

Move Back To Wakanda

McThag brings the math spankdown.
Since you bring up reparations, OK, let's have them.
You and your kind owe 360,222 lives to us white people.
Using the national average of $37,050,000.00 for a wrongful death settlement times the number of lives sacrificed we get $13,346,225,100,000.00.

Yes, Mr Shabazz, that's more than thirteen trillion US dollars.  Got that on you?

I will even be FAIR about it and not even apply 153 years of compound interest to the equation.

But unlike McThag, I will relent on such blistering common sense, for but one option:

Anyone applying for reparations should be given absolutely free, courtesy of the US taxpayers, one business-class one-way ticket to the African sh*thole country of their choice (that would be, with no exceptions, all of them), and the transport of up to 1000 pounds of their personal goods and chattels by common ocean carrier - with the ironclad proviso that the receiver must surrender their US passport and renounce in perpetuity their US citizenship, with a mandatory 20-year time period before they would be allowed to return and re-enter the US as legal immigrants on a green card, should they subsequently change their minds, and apply to come here as foreign immigrants. (And if we happen to close our doors to all such at some point until further notice, oh well.)

The IQ of both continents would improve markedly.

People Who Live In Glass Houses, etc.

h/t Kenny

(BANKSTER BUTTINSKIS, MONEYGRUBBERVILLE) The American people lent $45 billion to Bank of America during the bailout. That bailout came with a hefty $100 billion guarantee against losses on toxic assets.
That money came from American taxpayers. It came from gun owners and non-gun owners.
But Bank of America has warned that it will refuse to lend money to manufacturers of “assault-style guns”. It had previously announced it was edging away from the coal business to fight global warming.

Be a real bitch if some folks started to shove slices of frozen cheese the same size as credit cards into BofA's ATM card slots, or caulk those suckers over, and epoxy or hard acrylic the keypads. Or just paint over the screens with black paint.

Be tough to figure out who did it at 3AM if they wore V for Vendetta or Obama masks too, huh?

Even harder if they sprayed over the ATMs' cameras too.

I bet someone with enterprise could hit 10 or 20 a night, and never get caught.

But I bet after 1000 or 10,000 or 100,000 ATM out of service calls, they'd see their way right the f*** out of the whole political arena, and go back to just being a bank, or shareholders would probably find a board who could figure out what business they were in.

Of course, that would be both naughty and illegal, so of course you wouldn't want to do that.
Especially if anyone was looking. Because you'd get caught.

Just saying...

"Dear B of A: In a sluggish economy, never, EVER fuck with another man's livelihood. Now if you're smart, like I think you are, you're not gonna make me come back here."

It'd also be a real bitch if Congress were pressured by constituents - in an election year with primaries just weeks away, mind you - to remove FDIC deposit guarantees from any bank infringing on citizens' Constitutional rights, since government oversees those banks like a proctologist's tailpipe scope.

And if BofA has spare time for this kind of silly horseshit, it's clearly also time for the Treasury Dept. to call in the notes on those 2008 bailout loans. Tomorrow. In full.

And also, cancel any government business with those banks, and bar any future transactions with them by any government entity.

They could even forbid all direct deposits to them from any government payees, as a matter of government policy. And there's not a damned thing BofA could do about that, except go under.

In case anyone would rather call their Congressweasel, rather than stock up on frozen cheese, caulk, and epoxy.

But if you're a belt-and-suspenders kind of guy, ROWYBS.

Once a Dick, Always A Dick

Kenny again

(QUISLINGBURG PA) Dick's Sporting Goods Inc., one of the largest retailers of its kind in the United States, is taking new steps to curtail the sale of firearms, including ending sales high capacity magazines and assault-style rifles and banning the sale of guns to people younger than 21, the company announced this morning.

As noted in the article, they've backstabbed gun owners before, then tried to weasel their way around that betrayal and make a buck off gun owners without getting tagged for it. Stockholm Syndrome  and Battered Wive's Syndrome are really a thing.
Don't go back to them.

Remember, there are a lot of sporting goods retailers at which to shop, both in person, and online.

Don't be a Dick.

How To Handle A Shakedown

h/t Kenny

Entitled race hustlers and their shysters want some of Georgetown U.'s cash:
(WASHINGTON DC) One-hundred-and-eighty years after Jesuit priests sold slaves to save Georgetown University from financial ruin, a group of descendants is calling for restitution.
The university’s president has apologized for the sale, and the school has taken steps to make amends. But Georgetown owes its existence to the money made from the sale of 272 enslaved people,

I fully agree with this suit.

Everyone who actually picked cotton, and was actually sold into slavery by Georgetown U., should immediately present their claims at trial, including birth certificates and slave Bills of Sale. Then they can explain what law was broken in 1838, and under what legal argument they deserve compensation now.

Everyone else should be kicked out of the courthouse for lack of any standing, and expiration of the statute of limitations decades ago, hard enough that their asses don't hit the ground until they clear the steps.

After being assessed and fined for their share of defendant's legal bills.

Then the lawyers who presented the suits for plaintiffs should spend some time - we're talking some weeks, not a few hours - jailed for contempt of court, to contemplate the error of wasting the court's time with this kind of judicial horsesh*t.

Pour encourager les autres.

If they are amenable to waving their Eighth Amendment rights, I would accept having them placed in unsupervised public stocks in lieu of jail, for an equal period of time, on a 1:1 basis.
IIRC, it's a little chilly in D.C. just now, but they should have plenty to eat, what with all the fruit and raw eggs that'll certainly be coming their way.

If that proves unsatisfactory to them, all the plaintiffs should be presented with their share of damages for the civil manslaughter of 364,511 who died in the Civil War, payable at once, with interest.

All such claims to be discharged immediately if they drop their claims now and for all time with prejudice, and publicly say "Thank you" in open court, for the sacrifices which allowed them to live as free men in a free country, and never darken the court's doorstep again with this hogwash.

The lawyers still do the times in jail or the stocks, either way.

If the lawyers choose jail instead of the stocks, they should be required to pick cotton by hand until such time as the judge thinks they've learned the lesson. One squawk about either option, and disbarment proceedings for frivolous lawsuits are instituted immediately against the lot.
