"Weeble is DOWN! Weeble is DOWN!"

Just another day at the office for doddering senile Emperor Stumblefuck Poopyants. The guy's taken more falls than the Bonano crime family. Gravity is not his friend, and his continued puppet regime constitutes at least 100 counts of elder abuse by those pulling his strings, per day.

WH spokesholes pointed out that the president was checked afterwards, and reported that his mental and physical status remains exactly where it's been for years.

Which is exactly the entire problem.

Take a listen to the pure gibberish he spewed from the podium, which had nothing to do with a sandbag, and everything to do with tapioca where his brain is supposed to be:

He's physically unfit, and mentally borders on retardation. And if you think this bouncing potato got 81M votes from anyone, I've got a bridge for sale, cheap.

Everything he's touched from January 20, 2021 onward is moot and illegitimate, from laws and EOs signed to SCOTUS appointments, and it needs to be repeated until it knocks down the wall of lies surrounding this entire fraudulent kakistocracy.

Don't Fight The Last War

"Masks Don't Work!"

If that sounds like you, you're demonstrably a scientific moron. The claim is as asinine as claiming rocks don't work when used by sea otters or raccoons, or that wrenches don't work on lug nuts. You sound like an idiot for saying it, because you are one, and the question is beyond further rational dispute.

What is also absolutely true, is that masking policy, or indeed any policy that depends to any degree on personal compliance with masking, or any other non-compulsory thing, is doomed to abject failure. (We take a moment to remind the "Aesop got COVID wrong!" fucktards that we warned you about this problem only about three years ago, before we, or 99.9999% of you, had even met someone with COVID.)

Whether TPTB were too stupid to know this outcome, or deliberately ignored it for their evil ends is immaterial. Because either way, they tried it, and as foreseen, it failed most miserably. (You can debate whether this was coincidence or design; frankly, IDGAF).

The end result is, it failed colossally.

So ask yourself: in your experience on this planet, does failure make TPTB grow more reflective and considerate of common sense? Or do they usually double down on Teh Stoopid? Take your time answering.

So knowing that, and looking at the inexorable accelerating descent into draconian megalomania by your would-be overlords, maybe do yourself a yuuuuuge favor, take your finger off the pause button to blast Twisted Sister  and  The Who at 130 dB, and stop trying to fight and win The Second War Of The Mask.

It isn't coming.

O, hell no it isn't.

As I noted in reply to one of the intelligent comments to yesterday's post, that's not the way to bet. The oligarchy is crazy and stupid, but they're clever, and not entirely clueless.

How does DotGov always respond when you don't measure up to their expectations? With sweetness and light, and tenderly wooing you back into the fold?

But with
you, next time, they're going to say, mock-reasonably,

"Hey, sorry buddy, we tried the soft approach last time, and let you wander hither and yon with your slipshod and haphazard pseudo-compliance with wearing face diapers, but this time the gloves are coming off. We're simply locking your infected asses in your houses for the duration. Line up for your test."

And, in news that sucks if it's news to you, that approach has flawless and bombproof medical and legal pedigree that stretches unbroken back to the Roman republic, or even earlier.

Refusing face diapers won't be an option next time around, bucko.

And there's GOING to be a "next time".

They like how it felt, and they're going to shoot up a bigger dose of that high the next time they get the chance. Even if they have to make the chance. I deal with addicts every day. Ask me how I know.

So whether by blind luck and happenstance, or deliberate design, TPTB have now seen a pandemic, any pandemic, as a nifty way for them and their cronies to get around that Constitution thingie, and start some serious population control, both temporary and permanent, and even better than an existential war.

Potentially or demonstrably actually sick?

GTFBack into your plague-den house, until further effing notice, on pain of getting tossed into Pandemic Chateau d'If . And Edmund Dantes or The Man In The Iron Mask had a better shot at freedom by tunneling out than you ever will once that happens.

So you'd better start wrapping your head around that, planning and equipping for contingencies, to get around not getting quarantined, and/or not getting rounded up for breaking quarantines, the best way you know how.

And the Robert S. McNamara Memorial Award Goes To:

There's been a lot of yakking and babbling about "Who Lost Afghanistan?". It's all wrong. And it's not because we "lost" Afghanistan. It's because it never should have begun, as any sort of "nation-building". Any idea of such is now manifestly and properly discredited as one of the Stupidest Things Ever Thunk. Allow us, therefore, to lay proper blame at the true and rightful owner's feet:

The Raconteur Report takes pride in recognizing the monumental fucktardation of the man most single-handedly responsible for everything that's gone wrong in US SWAsia policy for the last 20 years, by awarding him the Robert S. McNamara Award For Epic Stupidity By A Senior Official.

Just as you knew the train had gone off the rails when 9/11 got us the KGB-esque Patriot Act with our own Homeland Security cheka, instead of a couple new Hiroshimas over Mecca and Medina, you knew Iraq and Afghanistan had gone far beyond Full Retard when this jackass, promoted hopelessly beyond his intelligence and abilities to SecState by epic presidential-level boob Dubbya, in order to provide the illusion of adult supervision, announced that we had to fix things in those shitholes because, and I quote his Pottery Barn rationale as verbatim as I can recollect, "You break it, you bought it."

This is logic from four-year-olds and store clerks, not geopolitical strategists.

The correct answer would have been to carpet-bomb both nations from 30,000' until nothing worth bombing remained, and then detail a BDA team to put up a sign saying "Don't make us ever come back here, or you'll need lead-lined underpants."

_____

The Award's Namesake:

Robert Strange McNamara *spit!* was a dedicated public servant. Which was exactly the problem with him. Before entering government service, he was a Harvard Business School grad, and the president of Ford Motor Company, back when they were a great American company.

His crowning achievement there was to unveil the Edsel.

For Millenials and Common Core grads, the Edsel was the most colossal brand flop in automobile manufacturing history.

Brighter lights would call that little misadventure a "clue".

But then, Camelot, and suddenly, JFK wanted the bumbling business idiot - who shared his Harvard roots - to head our defense establishment as SecDef.

While occasionally stumbling into success there with the reliability of a blind pig hunting acorns, his most notable achievements there involved him trying to do things far beyond his knowledge or capabilities, which lack was vast and wide, as befits a man of very little brain and worldwide responsibility.

A few spectacular career highlights:

*Convincing LBJ that we could win in Vietnam, and ought to play there.

*Adopting the M-16 service rifle. Which only took from 1965 until 1983 to properly unfuck.

*Forcing the Air Farce and the Navy to use the same airplanes for completely different missions, particularly the horrendously complex, over-tasked, overweight, and under-performing F-111. (F-35 Thunderjug program aficionados, stop me if you've heard this one.) Eventually, when it became apparent even to blind retards the idea would never work, the CNO and SecNav told him to go fuck himself.

*Enlisted and drafted 100,000 literal retards to fight in the Army in Vietnam. (cf. McNamara's Retards). Now, we only use them as generals and admirals in the Pentagon.

*Told the Joint Chiefs that technology could win the fight to stop supplies coming down the Ho Chi Minh Trail, forgetting that the North Vietnamese had pushed howitzers by hand uphill through the jungle to defeat the French at Dien Bien Phu, and utterly unaware that the NVA were pushing thousands of tons of war supplies from the North to the South by strapping them to bicycles with bamboo poles tied across the handlebars, and which didn't show up on radar or ground sensors looking for trucks.

*Was thus totally unprepared for the 1968 Tet Offensive, in which the entirety of South Vietnam was attacked simultaneously by thousands of VC McNamara's numbers crunching told him couldn't actually be there, which coupled with Enemedia action on American TV, convinced all of America that the war was eternal and unwinnable. He left DoD at the end of February, just short, unfortunately, of doing the honorable thing and shooting himself in the head.

*In return for cutting a campaign ad for presidential candidate Bobby Kennedy, he failed upwards to head the World Bank, where he spent the next thirteen years bankrupting one nation after another with loans they could never repay, at rates they couldn't afford, and spawning a chain of failed states, poverty, hunger, famine, disease, and worldwide chaos so gargantuan that the Soviets, Chinese, and Clinton Family Crime Syndicate were left green with envy.

Colon Powell has now risen to those heights, whereas had he contented himself with being Chairman of the JCS, he could have died remembered as the architect who destroyed Saddam Hussein's Sixth Largest Army In The World in six weeks, from behind his desk.

Award of the Peter Principal Ribbon with oak leaf cluster and Fucktard "F" is also authorized.

Success has many fathers, but epic failure is never an orphan. It is, in fact, the love child you always get when you screw the pooch this hard. We are happy, in this case, to correctly and properly identify the father.

All Hail Governor Horseass!

Historians rightfully ridicule Roman excess in having a Caesar who made his horse a senator, and yet we have Califrutopia, which has gone even farther, in making a horse's ass its governor.

Apparently, Jackass-In-Chief Gabbin' Nuisance has confused himself with Caesar, in decreeing, ex deus, as if he possessed that power, that as of September 30th, all health care workers must be fully vaccinated for Kung Flu.

Good luck with that, Fucktard. You want a personal war, that's where it's going to start.

And worst case: I can be a practicing RN in an ER in Las Vegas or Phoenix in about 4 hours drive, and still fight this tooth and nail the other four days a week, without a hiccup.

And that's just on the legal side.

I've consulted the State's Constitution, and when last I looked, the governor's powers don't seem to include making medical decrees aimed at an entire class of employees, to mandate injection with an aborted fetus vaccine so experimental it's not even approved for use on animals, as if he were some sort of demi-god, let alone set aside all other personal Constitutional rights at the stroke of a pen or on a bong-fueled flight of whimsy. Not in this state, nor any state.

He's in for a wee bit of trouble over this level of shitheadedness, and it only remains to be seen whether it's from a pack of enraged Norma Raes, or a small army of Dorners, but either way, grab some popcorn. Because what you really want in a state with a decades-long nursing shortage, is to make a significant percentage unemployable, and/or flee the state in perpetuity. That's going to leave a mark.

This is the beginning of things, not the end, and his odds don't look too good for a man facing recall in a few months.

Maybe he just wants to go out in blaze of glory. Or a puff of red mist. I honestly can't tell. But he's definitely confused himself with some sort of deity, and that sort of sociopathy never ends well for any politician.

You don't want a blood feud? This is how you GET a blood feud...

This One Year, At Re-Education Camp...

"Did someone say 'Nose pencils?
Captain Blackadder reporting for duty. Wooble. Papaaaa!"

College Socialist Re-Education Camp, deconstructed by Wilder, i.e 4th Generation Warfare, Part Deux:

the essence of 4th Generation warfare is about removing the willingness of your opponent to fight – to making them see their own position as an immoral one, to winning ideologically.
What’s the easiest way to win ideologically?  Education.
Go hither. RTWT.

Long-term?
All tulipomania bubbles burst, eventually.
And Adam Smith's "Invisible Hand" is going to break this one with a hard right cross to the jaw. Economics is merely the gravity of money, not the sociology of unicorns, and the inviolable rules are "TANSTAAFL", and "What cannot continue, won't."
Mind the backsplatter when this one goes off.

Be Careful What You Wish For

From comments to 18 U.S.C. 875c, Paul Scott in NZ writes:
do you think there will be any downside to the Immigration problem at the south border? An interesting interview by Stefan Molyneux with David Horowitz {found on YouTube here - A.} where Horowitz says that the activist judiciary are literally creating the law , and refusing Presidential orders should be an offence. eg.Arrest these bastards on the ninth circuit with the army, try and then jail for disobedience of legal orders.
After observing that the immigration problems at the border have already been nothing but downside since at least 1965, and an annual hundreds-of-$BILLION problem in associated and ancillary costs ever since, we reply.

If federal judges continue to unconstitutionally interfere with the enforcement of standing law, there are three remedies:

1) Send U.S. Marshals to arrest them for violating the law
2) Prosecute them in federal court, and refer them to the Senate for impeachment

One is easy, two takes time.
Also, having had functionally no actual Attorney General serving at any point in time from 2009-five minutes ago, and no functioning Senate since 1986 (if not 1932), also makes 1 and 2 problematic, and highly improbable.

Three is simplest of all.

3) Declare a suitable sector at the border (say 5 miles wide, from the Gulf of Mexico to San Ysidro CA, inclusive) as henceforth under federal martial law, due to unmitigated lawlessness and the attendant national security crisis of letting thousands of terrorists and criminals into the country, and send in military troops (active duty, and not the effing Notional Guard), subjecting all detainees to military justice, and removing the federal judiciary from any say in the process entirely.
If, at any point, they attempt to intervene, they are subject to arrest by military authorities wheresoever found, trial via courts martial, and incommunicado detention at military facilities TBD, up to and including Gitmo or Diego Garcia.

What happens in the Indian Ocean, stays in the Indian Ocean.
"What happened to Judge Commie Busybody?
"Disappeared last Sunday about 3AM in a vanload of black-clad ninjas, hasn't been seen nor heard from since..."
Lesson learned.

The upside of number three is it's both effective, and rapid at a relative lightspeed. When attempting a border crossing subjects you to incoming fire from miniguns at 10,000' from AC-130s, or mortar fire from our side of the border, it rather takes the fun out of that particular game. It will also make everything in Mexico within the range of small arms a no-go zone, and drive several millions of new Mexican refugees into the interior of that failed state. That's a State Department problem, as Mexico's entire army is hard-pressed to defend its own bases and government facilities, let alone go looking for trouble with us.

The downside is it delivers the exact military dictatorship everyone in this country has tried vehemently to prevent for 240+ years, to all of us, on a silver platter.
The only real prior example was the illegal roundup of nisei Americans in 1942, which mature hindsight from all sides regards as an abomination and a serious black blot on our national history.

But those are the cards in the deck.

One or all of them will be played if this continues.

A usually-unacknowledged fourth one is to either investigate troublesome judges for ethical and criminal conduct, and at that point, given that such is a near-certainty after sufficient scrutiny, either arrest and replace them, or coerce them in place, as essentially "double" agents. That latter was the J. Edgar Hoover policy, but as noted recently, the FBI is already a rogue agent in the game, from head to tail, and wholly unresponsive to the needs of the republic. The less the part they play in things, and the sooner they are disbanded completely as precisely the NKVD/KGB they have become, the better for the nation.

What's At Stake

It's time for Vito, Michael, and Tom Hagen to face the
music, and start doing the time. If anybody wants to go
on a fishing trip with Fredo instead, that'd be okay too.
And tell Connie the party's over.
I'm a big believer in mood music. Here you go, folks; play this while you read.

(The Federalist) In 2015, President Obama told America he only learned that his secretary of state Hillary Clinton was illegally using a private email server to conduct public business after The New York Times published a story saying so. Today’s release of a Department of Justice inspector general report shows that was a lie.
“FBI analysts and Prosecutor 2 told us that former President Barack Obama was one of the 13 individuals with whom Clinton had direct contact using her clintonemail.com account,” the report says in a footnote on page 89. “Obama, like other high level government officials, used a pseudonym for his username on his official government email account.”
Yeah, so what? Obozo wasn't under oath at the press conference.

I'll tell you what: Obozo was a sworn federal official and Harvard Law School graduate who knowingly aided and abetted a federal crime by the then-Sec. of State, Felonia von Pantsuit, and this criminal conspiracy was known to the sitting Director of the FBI at the time, James Weasel Comey, as well as most of the federal agents fake-"investigating" (read whitewashing) the Clinton e-mail scandal. That's a criminal conspiracy. It was impeachable at the time, and it's federally felonious criminal conduct, which is still prosecutable under federal law, right now, for all of them.

We have impeached sitting presidents for less than that, and sent average people doing only that much to long stretches in the federal penitentiary system.

Forget those ham-fisted birth certificate forgery frauds, and 23 fake social security numbers. Forget Fast and Furious and ten dozen other open and ignored scandals in Obama's corrupt criminal administration.

Just that little stunt means that this morning, President Trump now has three choices:

One
Find feckless incompetent MIA AG Jeffie Sessions hiding somewhere behind the draperies at the DoJ, defibrillate back him into life, fire everybody from the Obama administration in the Senior Executive Service level and above at the FBI, and at the Department of Justice, and tell Sessions to direct the US Attorney for Washington DC to indict Barack Hussein Obama, Hillary Clinton, and James Comey for that exact criminal conspiracy, and all associated crimes, along with their 50 to 200 known minions participating in that, and about 2000 other federal felonies committed in just the last two years of the criminal crime syndicate enterprise known as the Obama administration. (And the similar treasonous cartel operations of the Clinton Foundation. Oh, and seize the latter's assets under RICO. Chelsea can get a job at Starbuck's while she's looking for a good lawyer.)

Abuse of power, suborning perjury, and all the other machinations of the attempted coup pre- and post-the 2016 election, which ended their scheme so disastrously.

Hound those crocked m*****f*****s to the ends of the earth, and pin everything on them that will stick, and get them sentenced to so long in federal prison that they'll never see daylight  the rest of their natural lives, unless it's pumped into their subterranean crypts.

Fire Mueller, end his crooked clown-show fake-news witch hunt, and tell him he'd better think about lawyering up himself, as a former head of the FBI who was probably in on the Clinton scam at the time as well.

And get rid of the Constitution-shredding FISA courts, once and for all. Repeal the Patriot Act, in toto. It was a colossal mistake when it was first suggested, and it's proven to be exactly the power-grab end-run around the Constitution everyone warned about nearly twenty years ago, and every day since. We have a Patriot Act: it's called the Constitution and federal law. Let's try using that, if only for the recent novelty of the idea. (And BTW, if Kennedy retires from SCOTUS, put Andrew Napolitano on the court; when Bader Ginsburg finally strokes out, replace her with Alan Dershowitz. Mr. Chief Justice Roberts will find himself writing a lot of 7-2 and 6-3 opinions until Kooky Kagan and Satanmayor go away.)

Then suspend every agent at the FBI, purge the agency of every tainted one (or cut to the chase, and just assume that 98% of them give the other 2% a bad name, and fire them all), and put an honest and honest-to-god gun-toting thug-shooting cop in charge of the Bureau.
No political-animal police chiefs, but someone who's killed bank robbers in the line of duty, and is so clean he squeaks when he walks; nothing less.
If Congress won't sit still for that kind of appointment, disband the entire bureau, and turn over all functions to the US Marshal's office. (Move Explosives from BATFE to there as well, hand alcohol, tobacco, and firearms to the Commerce department as a non-enforcement paperwork compliance activity, and disband BATFE as well, while you're up.) Expand the Marshals commensurately, and ban for life any transfer or application of any former employee of the defunct FBI, unless they can pass a proctological background investigation of sufficient discomfort and thoroughness to guarantee Vatican sainthood and functional virginity to anyone who can survive the ordeal. To the 2% of former agents worth the trouble.

And gently hint to CIA that anything they've done on American soil, including this failed coup, is going to result in a lot of sudden heart attacks, light airplane crashes, and hunting and fishing trip accidents, unless a few hundred to a few thousand people resign and retire to go run worm stands, taco carts, or renting bicycles in the Bahamas. Oh, and if there's so much as one tell-all book deal or magazine article, then everyone on the list gets it in the neck. And their families. Live by the Borgia family rules, die by the Borgia family rules. You knew the job was dangerous when you took it, Fred.

If you're going to drain the swamp, then by God, you effing drain it!

Two
If Sessions can't or won't undertake that overhaul, fire him, and appoint someone, even as Acting AG, who will do all of that, like a pitbull on crack.

(And then send a quick love note to SecDef Jimmy Mattis that if he doesn't get the DoD and the last eight years' worth of cheesedick Pentagon general's and admiral's effluvia back in one bag in a big hurry, the same thing will be happening to his department next. The other Cabinet agencies will take the hint quickly after that.)

Three
Do nothing.
Raise the Chiquita Banana Republic flag over the White House, tell the peasants to eat cake, and announce to the world, whether anything is said officially or not, that the United States is now just another kakistocracy, run by corrupt thugs and incompetent buffoons for their own pleasure, who view the rule of law as a quaint old-fashioned custom, and then stand the f**k by for the bloodbath reckoning that'll be coming, every day from now until Hell freezes over.

Nota bene there's no Option Four on that list.

Which one you see in the next week, two weeks at the most, should influence your ammunition and supply purchases for the rest of the next two years. Anything after that point is the mercy of a benevolent deity, and/or the judgment of a righteous one, when - not if - it happens.

The Deep State couldn't be any more obvious about this if they took out full page ads on the front page of the NYSlimes. "Pay heed, peasants."

You all can do as you please with this information. I'll be getting in some range time.
Then it'll be time to get the boat ready for the fishing trip.

Why Weinstein Is A Thing

For the benefit of those like a commentor to today's earlier post who are puzzled and/or annoyed about the Weinstein casting couch cause celebre, let me fill in some background.

Who is the guy, and who cares?
Because until a week or two ago, you never heard of him?

No slam on the commentor who asked the question, but it deserves a full answer.
And typically, if one guy brings it up, there's ten more who feel the same way, and didn't say anything.

Never heard of him? Go read his Wikipedia bio.The co-founder of one of the leading production companies in Hollywood, with a Best Picture Oscar for Shakespeare In Love, and 35 years of producing some of the biggest Hollywood movies?
A guy who, until two weeks ago, everyone in Hollywood and the Democrat Party would not only return his phone calls, but deem it a privilege to speak with?
You've been living under a rock then. It's anyone's prerogative to ignore the movers and shakers in both Hollywood and politics, but that says more about you than about the magnitude of the loathsome object of the current tizzy.

Rumors are one thing, but three dozen (and counting) substantiated and corroborated accounts are another.
Second, it's not "young starlets", it's a Who's Who of A-list Hollywood talent that he's bagged, molested, or tried to do both.
Third, it isn't just that a producer did it, but the list of other producers, ancillary people, and other A-list stars who knew about him, and covered for him.
Fourth, this is a guy who's given millions to the DNC, and hung out with presidents.
Fifth, this undoes completely the Leftist narrative about the "War On Women", from both Washington DC, and Hollywood. Some of the loudest whiners have turned out to be his victims, and their fellow celebutards, who all kept their mouths shut about Weinstein's predations, while decrying imaginary GOP assaults. The hypocrisy factor is registering on the Richter Scale.

It's like watching a bus drive by the red carpet and throw buckets of mud on everybody in the front twenty rows at the Oscars, in their gowns and tuxes, on live TV.
It's yuuuuuuuuuuge.
And it just keeps getting bigger.

The only way you could generate more ink than this would be if Disney turned out to be running a child prostitution ring under Disneyland, or if Trump kicked the UN out of NYFC and gave them 24 hours to evacuate, or somebody popped a nuke in anger somewhere in the world.

This thing has legs, and you're going to be hearing about it for months.
Allegations of possible underage talent being involved have the FBI and NYPD (and probably LAPD and INTERPOL, quietly) investigating him for potential criminal charges.
The list of prosecutors who would cuff and stuff someone like Weinstein to make their career and assure their rise to superstardom and potentially all the way to even the White House, would only be a line from Hollywood to DC, via NYFC.

And for bonus ink, the story was about to break in New Yorker magazine, and at the same time James O'Keefe and Project Veritas were unveiling their expose of duplicity at the NYTimes, and so rather than being scooped, while simultaneously crippled by Veritas' undercover videos, the Grey Lady went pro-active, which exposed half a dozen Big Media outlets that had squelched earlier Weinstein expose' stories. Had they known the Vegas shooting was about to happen, they might have hung back, but life is full of surprises, and unlike Vegas, this is a story where everyone knows the motive, the perpetrator is still available to kick around, and the information available, rather than shrinking, is growing exponentially day after day after day.

Ask a reporter or an editor how they feel about selling copy, for an answer to why this just keeps on going like the Energizer Bunny.

You have the publicity trifecta: Big Hollywood, Big Media, and Big Politics, all simultaneously exploding with guilt on this, and no end in sight as the ripples spread outward. Name anyone in those three worlds, and this touches them. It's literally just about the entire Left Wing of the country, outside academia. And anybody in media will leap at a chance to tar their competition for errors of this magnitude.

This isn't a food fight at a supermarket, it's a simultaneous food fight at every supermarket.

When anyone this mighty falls, buy stock in companies that sell newspaper ink.

Dithering Idiot

No word yet on a possible crowdfunding appeal to buy the district attorney in Minneapolis a brain, so he may have to go all the way to Oz and ask the Wizard for one.

Link
The case of a Minneapolis police officer who shot and killed an Australian woman in July has been handed over to prosecutors for possible charges, investigators and prosecutors announced Tuesday.
In a statement Tuesday, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said his office has received the case and 'several senior prosecutors will now carefully review the case file to determine what, if any, charges might be brought.'

Freeman has said he expects to decide on charges before the end of the year.
By the end of the year?!? What in blistering f*** does he need that long to make up his mind?

It's possible that the D.A. will be out on the golf course with O.J. Simpson, looking for "the real killer". He may be calling Richard Kimball to see if the one-armed man has an alibi. Perhaps Officer Triggerhappy needs four more months to work on his insanity defense.

But at this point, the likeliest explanation is that the D.A. is hoping that Sh*tforbrains will be deported when the Dream Act is finally buried, saving him the bother of a trial.

I mean, it's not like a douchebadge went batshit and capped an unarmed white woman who'd called the police for help...oh, sorry, that's exactly what did happen.

History: If You Won't Preserve It, You Don't Deserve It

h/t WRSA

I have no love for revisionist visigoths, but I also have zero fucks to give for those who can't do anything but wet their diapers over it.

Reference: someone crybabying because they couldn't get anything done, and their beloved monument(s) got chopped down and hauled away.

Pot/Kettle.

1. Numbers talk, bullshit walks.
You either have numbers, or you’re just BS.
If 10,000 (hell, even 2,000) like-minded and resolute people showed up at any one of those monuments, surrounded it twenty to fifty bodies deep, and said “Fuck y’all, cops, BLM, Antifa, anybody; this sumbitch ain’t coming down, EVER! And we’re coming after those council members who tried to get rid of it in a recall Monday morning.” that would’ve been that. (And you probably could have expanded tenfold after Day One.)
But there’s no such base of support.
So you (whoever you are in any case) get rolled.
Welcome to How The World Works, Since Ever.
(Double Bonus Pussy Points if the reason you got rolled in the council vote in the first place was because you and an army of fellow geniuses "voted with your feet", decamped to somewhere else, and the relevant districts are now solid welfare-sucking blue. Your earlier selfish cowardice now pays dividends that last forever. Well played.)

2. 90% of everyone who shows up for such an ad hoc “happening” is a cam-whore, a thief, a liar, and a certifiable whack-job, or frequently all of the above.
Video camera lights draw those assholes like porch lights draw moths, in 110% of all known cases.
If you haven’t vetted your crowd long beforehand, and imposed a hierarchy and discipline on them, long before anybody shows up with cameras, you aren’t tall enough for this ride.
I’m sorry if that only now became apparent to anyone, or is news to them.
The memo has been out since at least the 1960s, if not 1917 or 1790, and probably long prior. This is one of those Reasons History Is Important To Life you didn’t learn in school because you were fucking off and/or your teacher wasn’t very good about driving the lesson home.
Final Exams can happen decades later, there’s no grading curve – it’s pass/fail – and you just got an “F”.

3. Stop playing on enemy turf:
If someone wants to take something down, find a site on private land, and put it back up. The same (if TPTB will let you purchase it for a nominal fee) or bigger than what was removed. Once it’s on private property, you can defend it, legally, with force of arms if necessary.
Expecting the guvmint to do it for you, because reasons, is still sucking on Uncle’s tit, and the other side of the coin from EBT cards and welfare phones.
If you don’t have the means to be a patron of the monuments you care about, once again, you aren’t tall enough for this ride financially either.

4. Honestly, let’s be men about this: there’s nothing wrong or shameful about admitting you can’t do what you want. Dig in, and get to work on that, so that you can do so eventually.
Or else admit you really didn’t care that much, find another hobby, and shut up about it.

Being grown-up is hard. Suck it up, buttercup.
That is not the face you want to show to the world.

Pull up your big-boy pants, and git ‘er done, or go home.

Let The Games Begin

And now, only three days after the WHO report referred to two posts ago, the number of contacts in Congo has jumped from 129 to 400, per AP.

Scroll back and see where I put this under "possible worst case".

It's probably safe, at this point, to drop it down another notch on the scale.
And to check sales on canned goods. Really.

Because WHO, and African kakistocracy are back on the case. (What could possibly go wrong?) As if Inspector Clouseau had called the Keystone Kops for back-up.

Now all we need is one Ebola-infected traveler to hit the US, then we can get the CDC in on the hijinks, and it's a Saturday matinee.

And if it gets from the northern border of BFCongo to the capitol, Kinshasa, and its 10,000,000 people with rates of 60% literacy, and the same lack of health care, running water, or flush toilets, in a country that borders on nine other underdeveloped and poor countries, a population already ravaged by AIDS, malaria, and dozens of other diseases, and then things'll get mighty interesting.

The only good news is there's a promising experimental vaccine, which they might be able to get there, and the world can use a few thousand Congolese villagers as human testing guinea pigs. If, if, IF it turns out to work, that would be great news. If not, well...

We've already seen what the next 12 or so doublings look like. Pray we don't go there again.
Best wishes, and sleep tight.

Well, That Didn't Take Long, Did It?

Team Trump shits the bed already: Hands off Shrillary.

Most administrations wait until they're in office to go full-diaper FUBAR.
This bunch couldn't make it two weeks without dropping a turd-log large enough to clog the plumbing, and they're still two months from even moving into the White House.

And if they follow through on this epically ass-tarded trial balloon
1) His own people are going to start wondering why they bothered
2) 300-something state electors will begin to have second thoughts before they meet in December
3) his mile-wide yellow streak revealed, both sides of the congressional aisle will start handing him his ass, starting on January 21st
(and yes, that would include every cabinet nomination, and his SCOTUS picks - well played, Lord Fartsniffer)
4) The RNC "Dump Trump In 2020 Committee" forms tomorrow, and it'll be fully funded
5) Darrell Issa, Trey Gowdy, and Jason Chaffetz may have a somewhat different idea of government oversight, and demand a special prosecutor anyways on Jan. 21st
6) Trump may find out that in a functional Department of Justice (as opposed to the Sturmabteilung we've had for the past 8 years), he can fire the AG, but he can't dictate policy when it comes to following the law. The sight of then-AG Jeff Sessions announcing the day after he's confirmed that Trump's wishes mean jack and shit in regard to enforcing federal statutes would bring tears to anyone's eyes who loves equality of all men under the law
7) Trump will also find out, just like Shrillary would have, that lacking HopeyDopey's Magical Anti-Gravity Teflon Pigment, firing his AG for pursuing investigations and prosecution of Shrillary would result in a bill of impeachment by noon that day, and achieve a House vote of 435-0, before his afternoon removal, and the accession to power of Acting President Pence. His ass would actually leave skidmarks out the White House portico, it'd be over so fast.

The Trumptards, predictably, will now be forced into pretzel-like contortions to defend this lunacy.

Or saner heads on the transition team will convince Trump to STFU, and tiptoe quietly away from this elephantine mound of dung, and disavow any knowledge of its source.

It's Official

We now live in a banana republic:

FBI recommends no charges against Clinton in email probe

FBI Director James Comey announced that an investigation has uncovered that while Hillary Clinton “used several different” email servers and numerous devices during her time as secretary of state, the agency is not recommending the Justice Department bring charges against Clinton.
“Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case. Prosecutors necessarily weigh a number of factors before deciding whether to bring charges,” Comey said.

Apparently whether an elected public official deliberately and consideredly broke thousands of federal laws was not one of those "considerations".
And of course, after investing millions of dollars in an intense criminal probe, and unearthing some tens of thousands of individual federal felonies (FTR Chuck Colson was sent to prison for one), the head of the FBI came to the same conclusion, purely coincidentally, as Bernie Sanders did on Day One of the presidential race:

Laws are only for the little people.

This is howl-worthy, and the FBI director, while avoiding a future case of Arkansas Flu, has just joined the ranks of Benedict Arnold, Vidkun Quisling, and Neville Chamberlain as one of the foulest national betrayers in world history.

If you can get to the head of the FBI, what's left?
And if cabinet secretaries don't have to obey the laws, why should anyone else?

This is earth-shattering, and the repercussions have only started to ripple.

Make your future plans with today's news in mind.

Unbe-fucking-lieveable.

Lee Greenwood was unavailable for comment.

But it just got a lot easier to find the quid pro quo from AG Lynch's and Fat Bill's little Phoenix airport tarmac confab, didn't it?

It's always best to hide things in plain sight.
Bazinga!

And hey, Mr. Comey, maybe you were sick that day in FBI Agent school, but here's the relevant law:

(f)Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.
                                                           - 18 US Code Section 793(f)

That means doing it accidentally is still good for 10 years in the big house, you treasonous spineless fucktard.

Still Semper F*cked, but here's your kiss afterwards

h/t to WeaponsMan

General Bozo Pussypants Neller, Current Marinette Commandant
wonders "How am I going to gold-plate this litterbox truffle?"

New Marine Corps fitness standards weed out men, women alike
(for some English definitional values of the word "alike")

(Marine Corps Times via AP)
New physical standards established so women can compete for combat posts in the Marine Corps have weeded out many (which is softer than saying "all but ONE" -A.) of the female hopefuls. But they're also disqualifying some men, according to data obtained by The Associated Press.
In the last five months, six out of seven female recruits — and 40 out of about 1,500 male recruits — failed to pass the new regimen of pullups, ammunition-can lifts, a 3-mile run and combat maneuvers required to move on in training for combat jobs, according to the data.
The tests, taken about 45 days into basic training, force recruits who fail into other, less physically demanding Marine jobs. And that, the Marine commandant says, is making the Corps stronger.
Which is a lot better-looking lipstick on the pig that saying out of that data, 1460 men and one woman passed on to bigger and better things.

Still trying to spin pure bullshit into gold, Commandant Pussypants spews platitudes:
"I think that's made everybody better," Marine Commandant Gen. Robert Neller told the AP in his first in-depth interview on the subject. "We're trying to raise everybody's bar a little bit and we're trying to figure out how to get closer together, because at the end of the day we're all going to be on the battlefield and we all have to be able to do our job."
"I have great respect for them being the pioneers in this area," Neller said of the women. "If they can compete and hang with everybody else, I think it will all just go away."

Which, in English, means this will NEVER go away, because in over 15 entire recruit training platoons, the Marines could only find 7 women who even wanted to try, and only one of them could "hang with everybody else" to meet even the most basic screening test requirements, and progress on to the harder tests to come.

If they were going to kick out the 40 men and 6 women (and every other one who fails henceforth) from the Marine Corps, then they "all" would be able to do the job. But Heaven forbid the Corps actually try to live up to its own reputation, if it required anything like courage and integrity, right Pussypants?

The odds of finding one woman who can make a 20-year career in the Corps at those standards is exactly 0%, precisely as the last 40 years of physiological testing data suggested. Getting even a 4-year hitch out of one female in combat arms should activate the Vatican criteria for certifying a documented miracle on earth.

If we had a Commandant Krulak or Gray, let alone Walt or Vandegrift, or God willing comments from the likes of Lt. Generals like Chesty Puller or the Brute himself, the quote would have been
"The idea that women can ever do anything approaching combat in the Marines is farcical bullshit, spewed out of the SecDef's ass around his head, which seems firmly lodged so far up that orifice that it's a wonder he can find the physical capacity to answer his own phone, never mind run the defense of this nation.
The job of the Marines is to fight and win America's wars, not salve the daddy issues of butched up lesbians on Capitol Hill and in the Pentagon on behalf of their imaginary Special Snowflake sisterhood, and we will be ceasing any furtherance of this monumental pile of horseshit immediately, Corps-wide, until further notice, or until the Secretary of Defense formally relieves me of my command, or refers me to court martial to answer for these remarks. I don't think that's a battle the Departments of the Navy or Defense are willing to undertake in open court using actual evidence. Tell your readers social experimentation just ended in the USMC, herewith."
But with the progression of high-heels-and-lace-panty-wearing commandants from Lame-us Amos, to Dipshit Dunford, to Pussypants Neller foisted onto the Corps by the current regime, and evidently the entire Marine Corps from the top down lacking the brains, balls, or backbone to tell the proponents of this silly shit where to head in, we'll hear nothing like that, and instead can content ourselves with the certainty that Marines, male and female, will needlessly fill up bodybags in the future to prove the utter stupidity and counter-reality of this course of action, when women inevitably physically fail to meet the challenges and accomplish the missions required in everyday combat since anyone started forming up in ranks to fight a foe. And every day from now until then, male Marines will be forced to pick up the slack for the lipstick-clad contingent.

Well done, shitbirds-in-charge.
And incidentally, you just made Marine recruiting duty a career suicide mission.
Which is the only good news in this entire sorry spectacle.

And up ahead...

Rubio, just about to demonstrate that he cannot even deliver his home state in his own party, is toast.
(Thank heavens. No Marco Amnesty in the White House.)

Kasich is probably about to prove the same in Ohio.
If this getting down to Cruz vs. Trump finally proves that the majority of Republicans don't want Trump, or do, it will be illuminating.

I hope Cruz wins, not because he'd be a savior, despite being the only conservative with a track record of opposing the march of insanity when it's counted, but because he'd buy us 4-8 more years to soften the fall, brace for impact, and make the landing survivable to some extent. That's best case.

Trump being a douche of epic proportions, I expect should he lose the nomination that he'll either sabotage the GOP with a scorched-earth third-party run, or return to his former preoccupation before his candidacy, and start palling around with the Democrats, exactly as he's done for forty years.
(Remember, he's a Republican to the exact extent Bloomberg is - utility and expediency, not anything like any bare conviction).

If he prevails instead, the GOP will have the mirror image of HopeyDopey teed up: a deranged assclown of monumental incompetence, blessed with pathological narcissism, a mediocre intellect, and absent any accountability whatsoever to anyone for his actions, both those legal and those flagrantly unconstitutional. Which the army of morons supporting him cheer on with glee, and total uncomprehension of the rocks beneath the cliff from which they're jumping.

How'd that work out for us since 2008?

Obama, being half-black, was supposed to be the racial healer of America.
Sh'yeah. Cities in flames.

And Trump's forte? Capitalism and business acumen.
On the cusp of the most monumentally devastating worldwide recession/depression imaginable, with a national debt in the tens of TRILLIONS.
So if he won, he'd be handed the world's biggest grenade, with the world's shortest fuse already lit and smoking.

THAT will work out well.

Meanwhile, either Shrillary gets indicted mid-election, leaving Bernie to carry the torch for institutional Communism. Or, the Hildebeast beats the rap - or worse, never faces one - thus confirming that all rule of law is dead in this country, we live in the largest banana republic in the Western hemisphere, and Evita has a shot at the big ring.
And out of 300 million people, that's the best we can do...?

So yeah.
Defensible arable land. Permanent water supply. Food. Ammo. Mags & spare parts. Night vision.
And as many like-minded friends and neighbors as you can get.

Add a library, a still, and someone to ride the river with, and you could do a lot worse, looking at the panorama of history.

But improve on your parents' lot?
If you're really lucky, and God or an uncaring Universe really smiles on you and your efforts, your great-grandchildren may get to see that day.

Papieren, bitte.

Facts, as John Adams famously noted, are stubborn things.

Karl Deninger's Market Ticker b-roll backstory seems to underline the zealousness of the 53-member Ferguson Gestapo PD in how they oversee the peasants down on the plantation of greater Ferguson.
By all means, go read the link, then come back.

in 2013, the Ferguson Municipal Court issued 24,532 arrest warrants and 12,018 cases, “or about 3 warrants and 1.5 cases per household.”
Or put another way, it amounts to 463 warrants per sworn officer and 227 cases per sworn officer, which amounts to every officer coming up with 2 warrants and one case per shift, every day, forever, in a 'burb with a population smaller than an Ohio State U. football home game crowd. And a court that in a nominal 250-day calendar issues 98 arrest warrants every single court day forever, 12 an hour, one every five minutes.

Holy Fucking Shit, Batman, it's a monumentally epic crime wave!!!

No one has documented this level of everyday lawlessness in 6.2 square miles since Genghis and Co. dropped in to visit Russia on a road trip from Mongolia.

Even allowing for some help from outside agencies for some fraction of those stats, one wonders how people like Ofr. Wilson found time to accost two mere jaywalkers in the first place, since they have apparently stumbled upon a municipality that runs like Beirut, yet with only 6% of its population.

Beirut Lebanon population: 361,366
Ferguson MO USA population: 21,135
That's more than one arrest warrant per resident, per year!
Either this is the largest organized crime tribe in America encompassing the entire city; or if, as in most communities, fewer than 10% of the city's people are causing more than 95% of the problems, you'd think they'd elect to do something besides citing the same 2,000 people every 5 weeks over and over again, at some point in time.
Right?!?

For comparison, in 928 episodes on TV, over 27 seasons, the TV show COPS would have to document a warrant case more frequently than one-per-minute of its 20,416 total on-air minutes to date just to get to that level of crime and disorder that Ferguson apparently enjoyed in just the last year.

Nota bene that's the arrest and case stats for only the Municipal Court, so it doesn't even approach the number of absolute total traffic tickets, as well as normal misdemeanor and felony arrests processed there or in Superior Court, or whatever Ferguson's version of it is.

It's truly a wonder the members of the Ferguson PD can shoot a gun at all with their hands as crippled up from writer's cramp and repetitive stress syndrome as they must certainly be from this level of lawbreaking.
When, praytell, do they find time to eat a donut??

The Ferguson PD don't need to be suspended: they need to be lined up against a wall and shot.
Why the protesters haven't marched on and burned the police HQ and the courthouse is anybody's guess, but against stats like that, assuming they're accurate, their forbearance is legendary, and makes the signers of the Declaration of Independence sound like a bunch of whining pussy crybabies by comparison over a paltry ha'penny tax per hundredweight on tea.

Ignoring these obvious truths is what happens when you make math optional beyond the 10th grade, and especially at journalism school. One can only wonder how no one in the Fourth Estate - 57 channels and nothing on - never seems to have ever noticed the level of what passes for justice that has been going on in that little burg since time out of mind.

Ebola Breaks Out At The US Benghazi Consulate

Nobody cares.

Officially(tm).

Talking about Ebola = Double plus ungood.

Like turning off a switch, as of last Friday, the media pulled the plug on this story, and now it's back to being fodder for page B26, when they even cover news items from Congobongoland.
Apparently they were getting the cows too upset to give milk, and somebody said "STFU!"
As to who has the juice to convince ABCNNBCBS and Fox to all simultaneously shut up about something, I leave it to internet speculation.
But in practical terms, it's as if Ebola broke out at the US Benghazi Consulate or something.

The official word on this outbreak is to emphasize complacency, and minimize panic, trusting to either a benevolent deity or blind mathematical chance and fate to hope that there isn't one actual infected person anywhere among 300 million of us.

Note this latest line of pure, undiluted bullshit sold as HappyGas powered by unicorns shitting Skittles after eating Magic Beans.
Thirty seconds after one Ebola case is confirmed in the wild in the US, this guy should be strung up by his testicles, then electrified while being set on fire, while being stabbed in the eyes until he dies screaming, all of that televised live, but it'll be too late then.
And of course if it never happens, he's good, so why bother?

For all we know, the Titanic has already hit the iceberg, so why annoy the passengers by waking them up and getting them needlessly upset?

Pretty much the Official Policy On Ebola going back to 1976, but obviously frequently in vogue even as far back as 1912.

But again, once the barn is in flames that've spread to the house, and the family horse is sighted several miles from the barn door, it will be firmly locked, rest assured.
