In the District of Columbia in 2020, 92.2% of the vote went to Biden, and 5.4% went to Trump. DC is filled with a population that, in very large part, constitutes the dregs of the American population--low education, low skills, a high crime rate, and with a hand always extended outward to accept "gubment benefits."
Anyone right of center cannot possibly expect a fair trial there. Trump will be entering a lion's den.
Are they pushing the country, toward a new civil war? No doubt, this is about degrading the First Amendment, and ultimately, eliminating Free Speech. So what is the end game? Every time the Bidens are attacked, Trump gets attacked. If It's about the money, who is planning the elimination of our Constitutional Republic? Will there be a reckoning? Bear in Indy
Funny meme but the fact is there's a hard ceiling to his numbers; a lot of people are simply not interested in discussing or considering anything related to him, they just want him gone.
For my part I've lost all enthusiasm where he's concerned. He got robbed, yeah. He wouldn't have gotten robbed if he'd put any effort into preventing it, or done anything other than LARP about it afterwards. I don't think he can do the job.
The one thing that gives me hope is that at this stage in 2015, Newt Gingrich was the front-runner.

Gonzalo Lira, pro-Russian youtuber and twitterer often quoted approvingly by WRSA, after being re-arrested by Ukraine after re-entering the country after being expelled, announced on twitter he was jumping bail and going to try to cross the border. Before actually doing so. And for extra bonus points, he indicated which part of the border he would be attempting to cross in his attempt to evade Ukrainian authorities.
He's not going to get fair trials, nor a fair election. He'll either become a martyr, or the leader of the resistance. The Never Trumpers were always soft-core DemoCommunists. Forget the man himself; the only good news in the last five years has been from Trump-appointed actual strict-constructionist judges. If he'd put two more on the 9th Circus, the entire Western U.S. would have been returned to the republic largely intact, for decades.
Taxicab Depression's plaintive "What happens if nothing happens?" has an answer. We're in Pineland. It's four years after the openly Banana Republic kicked off in earnest. (And to think, some people actually made fun of Venezuela after Chavez. Not so funny when it's in D.C.) Big Boy Rules apply. Your ball.
I've been meeting with some history professors regarding the possible sale of my collection of scholarly works on Roman, Byzantine, and Hundred Years War. We get talking politics, and the subject of The Pedo comes up. Most of them think that The Pedo is a far right member of the KKK, and that we need a true progressive in the Offal Office. One professor has a sign in his office that reads "We Need an American Pol Pot". Newsom and Buttplug are mentioned, although a few of them want the combo of Cameltoe and Mooshelle. My poker face has been working for me since at least 1972, when I was part of a group of teens that played cards before class. I keep the shocked look off my mug, and take mental notes to relay to the Plague Nun in the evening.
Not counting the news outlets or websites along the full range of accuracy and veracity, I follow multiple actual individuals' handwritten blogs. (Bot news aggregators don't thrill me.) Looking them over, many are current serving or former military and a couple are some variation of high-speed low-drag elite forces ninjas. Or just funny as all. Because life without humor is just despair. So in other words, the same folks I trusted in the military not to wet the bed, sh*t themselves, or otherwise run around like headless Nancys, are the same folks I trust on the interwebz, for demonstrating pretty much the same trustworthiness and circumspectly responsible behavior. Color me shocked.
