We haven't checked, but we're pretty sure Trump himself had been charged with 84 counts of everything under the sun under various legal shenanigans in any dozen kangaroo courts by Day 84 of Mr. Fraudulent's Reign Of Lawlessness, if you're keeping score at home. (We give a modicum of shrift to the argument that it's harder to build good cases if you're going to have to assemble, ya know...bona fide evidence.)
We hate to throw shade at USAG Bondi now that someone, somewhere, finally found a crime or three they could prosecute (one wonders if they needed both hands, a map, and a rear view mirror to find their own asses), but at this rate, they'll barely crack 50 arrests before POTUS is termed out in 2029.
As Mr. Churchill once remarked, "This isn't the beginning of the end, but at least it's the end of the beginning.
To the short bus of US attorneys and investigators who apparently populate the bulk of the DoJ:
Moar, harder, faster, you gang of glacially slow (and we mean that in every possible sense of the phrase) buffoons. Stop licking the windows, and get cracking. But thanks for finally pulling your heads out of a dark, fetid place, and getting on the job.
And minus-ten style points for not perp-walking both judges in front of banks of news cameras.
Pour encourager les autres.

It's coming.
"Firebrand Attorney Mike Davis, the founder of the Article III Project, joined Steve Bannon on Wednesday to discuss his recent meeting at the Department of Justice with Attorney General Pam Bondi, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, Bondi’s Chief of Staff, Chad Mizelle, and incoming number three, Stanley Woodward.
During the interview, Mike Davis delivered a clear message to the American people: Justice is coming."

I noticed there isn't a peep about the right violations, and outright torture, of those that happened to be sightseeing at the Capitol during an important event. From my point of view, there are few dozen jail employees that need to be taken out and shot. That, and the agents that insured they were shanghaied need to be keel-hauled before their public hanging.
Actually, Judge Cano and wife were perp-walked on camera by the FBI: https://x.com/EndWokeness/status/1915542422651642322. And now, they've been charged with destroying evidence: https://www.krqe.com/news/crime/court-documents-reveal-new-details-in-the-arrests-of-former-new-mexico-judge-and-his-wife/. Agreed, glacially slow pace of arrests, but better than having to drop the charges later for lack of evidence.
Great thoughts. Dems would have 100 lawfare cases going right now. They didn’t need irrefutable proof to start.
Where have you gone, Matt Gaetz, as a lonely nation turns it's eyes to you....
The reports of judges assisting illegals in courthouse evasion of ICE is commonplace in Massachusetts. I would venture to suppose almost every judge in the state has done it once by now. This type of arrest, while welcome and long overdue, needs to become routine and unremarkable compared to the bigger fish DOJ needs to fry. These small fish arrests will not stand in for the thousands of high level prosecutions we are all waiting for and expect to be carried out.
If they Holler, she'll let them go.
"Minus 10 style points for not perp walking the guilty in front of banks of cameras"-this times one thousand!!!
What a joke. Still, meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Same shit, different president.
An arrest does NOT equal a trial/conviction with a resulting MEANINGFUL punishment.
Could not agree more.
Wonder if she's just a bacon-wrapped shrimp party girl.
That was the story of reconstruction in a nutshell: arrest the ex-confederate murderer, he walks free on a technicality, or because the jury is comprised of fellow lynch mob homos.
And who can forget how many decades it took to prosecute the mafia?
