Sunday Music: For What It's Worth

Buffalo Springfield's earconic protest song from 1967, which gave us the last 2/3rds of Crosby, Stills, and Nash, and an anthem which not only stands the test of time, but rings true as recently as Friday in Ottawa.

Shame on Turdoo and the Canuckistani Pigs *spit* for living up to every jackbooted thug meme in modern history in just one day, and continuing the perpetual relevance of this classic tune yet again.

I remember the 68 DNC convention in Chicago as well. Only problem is now those are the stomped assholes running our country.

This song was released in Dec of 1966 and was a protest of the curfews initiated on the Sunset Strip in LA. A song that is timeless and still relevant today. Great choice.

My buddies were coming home in boxes everyday back when that song came out . Riots in the streets . You would have had to be there to believe the reality of it all . And here we are again . Only with worse political theater .
