Russia didn't "interfere". They invaded and conquered, unprovoked, with the sole aim of conquering territory for its own sake, and their own possession. And generally only relinquished as part of imperial collapses. Plural.
The list of countries where we have behaved in that manner would fit on thumbs found on your ear.
The term for your rhetorical comparison in the trade is the Apples To Oranges Fallacy. 5 yard penalty and loss of down.
When a maniacal former KGB officer states that his life goal is the restoration of the former Soviet Union is all its former glory, you'd think the rest of the world would take him seriously. Then there's the idiots currently residing at 1600 Penn Ave trying to force the rest of the world into WWIII, just to spite Trump for winning a third time. I guess that's to be expected with the Blinken and Nod(Austin, the guy who actually appeared IN PUBLIC kitted out with a face shield AND a mask on under it, looking like Darth Lurch, then goes missing for a week without telling anyone, including his boss the President, where he was or handing off his responsibilities to his deputy) foreign policy team we have currently in place.
Funny how the former KGB officer only makes his moves when the USA is run by Demonrats and he isn't at all bothered by ANY EU country openly opposing him.
'Course he has that luxury when those aforementioned EU countries are ALL dependent on his Nat. Gas and oil to run their economies. You know, those EU countries that gave up their coal fired and nuke power plants because some teen aged truant made them all butt hurt because she yelled at them in public, when what they should have done is sent her back to school after a good spanking.
Russia: A great collection of peoples saddled with a 'sh*t for brains' leadership system. Putin is the best of the worse, so imagine where they would be with someone else?
Not counting the news outlets or websites along the full range of accuracy and veracity, I follow multiple actual individuals' handwritten blogs. (Bot news aggregators don't thrill me.) Looking them over, many are current serving or former military and a couple are some variation of high-speed low-drag elite forces ninjas. Or just funny as all. Because life without humor is just despair. So in other words, the same folks I trusted in the military not to wet the bed, sh*t themselves, or otherwise run around like headless Nancys, are the same folks I trust on the interwebz, for demonstrating pretty much the same trustworthiness and circumspectly responsible behavior. Color me shocked.

ANONYMOUS UNSIGNED COMMENTS WILL BE AUTO-DELETED WITHOUT MERCY, and the url added to the spam filter, or mercilessly mocked at the bloghost's sole discretion. If you're too chickensh*t to come up with an alias for online purposes, you're not tall enough for this blog. Pick a name, and stick with it, and you're good. Get cute, and you're wasting your time and my electrons, and your masterpiece will never see the light of day. No warning shots will be fired. If you can't maintain decorum and polite behavior, I won't toy with you, I'll squash you. If one of your comments disappears, YOU f**ked up. If all of them do, it's time for you to go. Disagree with the points made, on the merits, and you're good. Go after me personally, or other commenters, and your comment will never see daylight here. My tolerance for skirting the line is at absolute zero, and will remain there. Don't f**k up.

Always remember that if the Poles were attacked by the Germans and the Russians, they'd fight the Germans first. "Business before pleasure."
Now do one where the bear is the US and all the places we've interfered over the past century.
