Softest ballad from a hard-rocking band, melancholy wrapped in beautiful simplicity, and as sweet as a drop of condensed honey, this one being Kansas' biggest hit ever (#6 in the U.S. on Billboard) from 1977. Also, truth be told, the entire Solomonic Old Testament book of Ecclesiastes condensed down to absolute truth in about 8 lines of lyrics.

Yup, a great one. Loved that band as a kid.
Another fine selection.
One of the other DJs at the radio station I worked at in High School dug out an old sound affects record and created a cart that had a soft, lonely sounding wind blowing as the lead in and outro that we used to the exclusion of the 45RPM we had of it.
To this day the original album versions doesn't sound quite right without those effects.
Evocative and bittersweet. Reminds one of past, present, and future with every fingerpick. Another Sunday blessing, thanks Aesop.
They're still touring and sound great.
Great one
