Real-World Tips For Underground Partisans

Once again, Retard Trigger Warning: This is not a Ukraine post. It's a "What works in the real world" post. If you still can't figure that out despite the warning, you're not tall enough for the internet, and should go back to your PlayStation. Or, more likely, your barnyard animal See-N-Say.

Um. Yeeeeeeeeaaaah.

The Kraine is the LAST thing you want to talk about these days, inninit? Gee, I wonder why that is, General…?

😂👍

Because I get tired of being right all the time, Glen, and I hate kicking retarded kids just because I can. The group of faithful lackwits you attract like flies to your dung-heap get all kinds of bent out of shape every single time, and do nothing but fling feces in panic.

So, how's that any-day-now Russian counter-offensive going?
They've lost trying to retake Bakhmut from Ukraine so many times that even the Ukrainians stopped counting, and they've burned through most of their cannon-fodder replacements.

And their imaginary artillery superiority has been undone by the fact that they're wasting 1000 rounds for every hit they get,
https://youtu.be/ofJw89oI4cc?t=627
(10:26 mark and ff.)
while the Ukes are using drones for real-time spotting, and getting 1st and 2nd round hits on tanks, APCs, and other targets, and using HIMARS to hit targets inside Russia, which is turning out to be not so bitchin for Russian airfields, munitions depots, and training centers for their conscripts and press-gang prisoners. Vlad blowing up civilian power stations in Ukraine isn't affecting the battlefield contest at all, and (predictably) only serving to stiffen Ukraine's centuries-long hatred of Russia.

I never told you Ukraine was going to win this, but I told you times beyond counting that Russia's only option was to lose, and they're fulfilling that day after day after day.

We're at ten months running, and for more than half of them you've been wrong every single day; so, when are you throwing in the towel on rootin' for Putin? Five minutes after Putin does? Or you gonna hang on even after that?

Thanks for dropping by, but beating you over the head with that reality isn't even worth a dedicated post here any more. That's gotta suck for you. Have a happy new year, and pop a cork or two. You're going to need it.

The overwhelming offensive is due any day now, according to some respected experts. The ground is still mushy and slushy so who knows, maybe they're right? I am not afraid to admit I was wrong, we all were at the start.

Last night was apparently the worst barrage yet. My current theory is that Vlad is going to pound the snot out of the Kraine from the safety of the Donbas with rockets and arty. I could be wrong too. I see you're starting to back peddle, at least. That is a step in the right direction.

The next step for you is to stop believing what you read. Hell's bells man - the American military just got stomped in Afghanistan. Now you expect them to deal with Russia? You're smarter than this, Aesop.

Have a Happy New Year.

I have backpedalled on nothing, Glen. You've misrepresented my position all along. It's still right where I left it. I think the problem is you never read it, then assumed it was wrong. Go back and read what I actually wrote, then get back to me.

Russia has no path to "victory" in this conflict that doesn't begin and end with the adjective "pyrrhic".

This isn't, nor ever has been, a matter of believing what I read. I've told what I can see with my own eyes, from any two dozen disparate sources. Where I was ever wrong was thinking at the outset that Russia's military would live up to its pre-war billing. They failed at that, obviously and spectacularly, by about Day Three, last February. Everything since then has been exactly as I expected: They're feeding themselves (or rather, Putin is feeding them) face-first into a wood chipper, with their pants around their ankles, and the entire world is watching it live. Not least of all China, their traditional blood enemy for thousands of years.

The Russian military got stomped in Afghanistan when it was still Soviet, and 10x bigger than it is now (which should have served as a permanent warning to them of the limits of military power in "limited" wars). We were doing okay at disentangling ourselves from our own idiotic goat-fuck there (which we should have sorted out entirely with continual B-52 sorties until nothing was left there but weeds, and goats to eat them) until TPTB selected an unelected retard as C-in-C. Everything after that point became predictable. Retards gonna retard.

Right now the Saginaw chapter of the Girl Scouts and the Western Oregon Rod & Gun Club could take on the Russian military at parity. Throw in gator hunters from Louisiana, hog hunters from Texas, the Knob Creek machinegun shooters, and the Commemorative Air Farce, and the Russians would be completely routed, save one lone branch.

All they've had going for them since 1990 has been their nuclear rocket forces. That's the only thing that separates Russian military power from that of Zimbabwe or Paraguay.

When a nation's only effective military force has the same effectiveness as a squad of Al Queda suicide bombers, who can only win by destroying themselves in the process, this is what conventional conflict looks like.

I expect the U.S. military to continue to sit this one out as they have, send shit-tons of intelligence and ordnance to Ukraine as long as they're making good use of it, and watch Russia beat itself to pieces and bleed itself white, until some Russian general figures out the end-game, and retires Putin via a telephone call from a Makarov pistol. And only after uniting NATO more than any time since the Berlin Wall went up, destroying the Russian economy for another 40 years, and making them a pariah worldwide for another century.

If Putin hadn't gotten grabby, he could have slow-rolled his meager progress for another decade of peace, but he squandered anything he accomplished prior to now with one asinine war. Greed, pride, lust, envy, gluttony, and wrath are six of the seven deadly sins, and exactly what has driven this conflict along since before it began. They've also pretty well killed off any Russian dreams of re-entering civilization for another generation. Now they'll be fending off China from a position of weakness for years and years, and trying to stave off another 1990-style total collapse for the rest of the century, just to avoid becoming a state as failed as the former Yugoslavia.

Like all polyglot empires, it's a slim chance of success in the long term.

And it pressages what hand the communist powers-that-be on this continent are dealing all of us on this continent when our own turn comes, as they welcome in the Turd World by the metric fuckton.

Aaaahhhh.... why not?

"Russia has no path to "victory" in this conflict that doesn't begin and end with the adjective "pyrrhic".

- they've already won. They own just about all they want or need in the Donbas and the Ukes will never get it back at this point. From their fortifications, the Russians are able to control the rest of the Kraine with artillery, rockets and cruise missiles without putting boots on the ground.

"The Russian military got stomped in Afghanistan"

So did the Americans. I hate to say it because I love Americans and their squaddies... but they got their asses handed to them the exact same way the Russians did - primarily by being betrayed by their incompetent leaders at home.

"Right now the Saginaw chapter of the Girl Scouts and the Western Oregon Rod & Gun Club could take on the Russian military at parity."

Then why is America bankrupting itself and draining its armouries sending weapons to the Kraine?

"I expect the U.S. military to continue to sit this one out...."

Your damn right they will. As far as I can tell, all America has in that theatre is the 101 and 82nd Airborne, and a smattering of advisors, CIA goofs and mercs in the Kraine itself. If you send light airborne against entrenched heavy Russiany armour and infantry... the Russkies will kill them as they have with the Ukes. Hey - I don't like it either, for the record, but that's elementary tactics and strategy.

"If Putin hadn't gotten grabby..."

He didn't. He is not a crazy autocrat or maniac that the Washington establishment portrays him as. He's been telling your for six years now that he wants a meaningful place in the EU marketplace and would prefer to be on America's good side if possible. He has said so in many recent speeches too - have you actually listened to any of them personally, rather than having the press do it for you? I dunno about you... but if those guys lied to me the way they did with stolen elections, fake pandemics, fake vaccines etc etc ad nauseum... I would start to seriously question those guys.

There are two big problems between us, Aesop. The first is "Where do you get your info from?" Welp... your president is a vegetable and was a moron and a pedophile before he went senile. Your military brass? Patreaus and Milley are fart catchers for the establishment. Your military is now run by Bronies, Furries and affirmative action vibrants. They have lied through their teeth at us for almost four decades now. Even you have to concede to this. My sources aren't infallible - but they have boots and eyes on the ground, and I am seeing the bodies stacking up and the prisoners being taken and processed in real time. You are seeing only what Washington wants you to see.

The second problem is that neither of us understands modern Russia. You are stuck in the Cold War, and I have mistaken their intents and agenda all through this. These new Russians aren't bullet proof demons... but they are not vodka swilling peasants or gangsters either. Their demands are reasonable and if we had real leaders over here... we would be at the negotiating table with them and hammering out sensible trade and military agreements. Hells bells - America used to push nations to the negotiating table... now they refuse to even sit down and talk?

It's okay to be wrong, Aesop. You'd have far more credibility and and standing if you did. Your choice at this point, as I see it, is to be an authority on the subject or to be a performance artist.

But... whadda I know?

They've destroyed half their armored forces and hefty chunks of their naval and air forces, in return for maybe 5% of Ukraine that they didn't already control before they invaded. This is why Vlad's a tactical idiot. Meanwhile, the Donbas is rubble from the border to the front lines, and those two demarcations are merging towards Moscow daily.

I already explained the flaw with going into Afghanistan; it was going into Afghanistan. for Britain, Russia, and now the U.S. Nuke it from orbit, and settle buffalo and wolves there.

Then why is America bankrupting itself and draining its armouries sending weapons to the Kraine?
We've been bankrupt for decades. Deficit spending is nothing new.
As far as emptying armories, we're getting Russian corpses and dead equipment in return for that outlay. That benefit is such a bargain that all of Europe has joined in the giveaway. It's value for money.

Your damn right they will. As far as I can tell, all America has in that theatre is the 101 and 82nd Airborne, and a smattering of advisors, CIA goofs and mercs in the Kraine itself. The strategy is not going in in the first place, because we never intended to do so.
Besides which, if we ever did, the opening dance number would entitled "Say goodbye to your airfields and all aircraft within 200 miles of the front line, followed by every road and rail bridge from the Baltic to the Black Sea. Walking from Moscow west, with the Russian army pushing handcarts, the war would be over in about an hour.

"He didn't. He is not a crazy autocrat or maniac...blah blah blah"
No, He's a megalomaniac. His speeches mean Jack and Shit. Grabby is what he's doing with his hands, not the PR pablum he spews out of both ends. The invasion is the problem. Not his fervent fever-dreams. Now he's on the hook for wartime atrocities last seen in the 1940s, on an international scale.

"There are two big problems between us, Aesop. The first is "Where do you get your info from?"
Don't sell yourself short; there are far more than two. I get my information from everywhere, not just from the WH press briefings. There's this thing called the internet--maybe you've heard about it? People, from all points of the political compass, are uploading live feeds and reports as reflexively as breathing. CNN is running hind tit compared to bloggers and Turd world media reporters, thanks to worldwide bandwidth. Russia is eating massive shitburgers 24/7, from here to the horizon, And has been since late August.

Other than bombing Ukraine power stations, with the 30% of the drones they can get through, they're not accomplishing much of anything, except filling a lot of their own body bags - when they even bother to police up their own dead. So, looking at it all, Russia has been in headlong retreat for months, they can't organize anything as complex as monkeys fucking a football, and they couldn't fight their way out of a Moscow whorehouse with six months' notice and diligent preparation. And you're watching TASS show the same Potemkin newscast of 500 prisoners being captured day in and day out, and acting as if it's a fresh batch every day. And yet, the front lines keep moving to the east and south, not the north and west.

"The second problem is that neither of us understands modern Russia."
You must mean present-day Russia. calling it anything like "modern" rapes the English language use of that word. Russia is a Tuyrd World shithole kleptocracy, with aging nuclear weapons, and a leader still trying to reform and restore the Soviet empire. With 1/10th the army, 1/20 the working capital, and 1/100th the IQ of earlier generations of Russian leadership. The sooner Putin and his cronies all catch a faceful of 9mm, the quicker what's left of Russia, and whatever leaders follow in Putin's slime trail of blood and sewage, can restart their abortive quest to eventually join the modern world.

Russia is like Mexico: a nation of incredible people who'd like nothing more than a steady job, a car in the garage, a chicken in the pot, and a brighter future for their children. But both countries have the misfortune to be ruled by the most inept and corrupt bunch of thugs, criminals, and crazies - for generations - that ever befell two potentially great nations. Other than that, the ballet is better in Moscow, and the burritos are better in Mexico, but there's precious other difference between either shithole except the relative amounts of sunshine they enjoy, as they both circle the bowl before the inevitable final flush.

Vlad's been at war with someone for nearly every year since he slid into power. If he gave two shits about Russia and "legitimate national interests", rather than his own status as Czar, the first thing he should do, besides killing himself, is put what's left of his army in "park" for a decade at least, and stop taking it out for a new adventure every fucking year. It's gotten so bad that even Sweden and Switzerland, FFS, have both had quite enough of his warmongering shit. And even Germany and Japan are realizing they may have overdone the non-aggressive thing since 1945. Vlad is single-handedly pushing Germany and Japan to re-arm. What could possibly go wrong with that?

So why don't you tell me what it is you think I'm wrong about, and work from that point?
I never predicted Ukraine would sweep the entire Russian military aside and conquer that country. I said Russia could never beat a people that only hates them to their marrow, with the burning hatred of a thousand suns, and that the attempt would require Russia to shoot itself in the foot, again and again and again. That remains true, and every day, in every way, this turns into exactly the debacle for Vlad I suggested was overwhelmingly likely, within days of them botching their initial efforts. The Ukrainians now have the bit between their teeth, and they aren't likely for settling for anything less than Moscow's total withdrawal to the territorial boundaries before they first invaded and seized Crimea. And dollars to donuts, when they ask for Russian reparations, they'll get them too, and in haste, even if it's only seized Russian assets.

Vlad has set his country back 100 years, in ten short months.

Pretty spectacular for any national leader, in a Hindenburg/Titanic kind of way.

It's Russia. Russian history boils down to "Let's Do the Thing That Makes the Most People the Most Miserable".
At best they just make their own people miserable. At worst they make people in other nations miserable. There's a good reason every single neighbor hates and despises them.
