The Wall Always Wins
And it's getting cold out there.

There are good women out there, but you have to look for them. They almost certainly won't be on a dating site. They are usually busy helping raise their younger siblings, a family business, or similar. They aren't dating for fun and wouldn't think of sleeping around. I met my wife through family (hers, not mine). I know several small rural communities with numerous traditional marriage minded women, but it takes time to get accepted into them and make connections. Jonathan
Actually, they're unicorns. By actual statistic, over 80% of them are a complete waste of time, and the remaining 20% who aren't are already spoken for.
And most of the folks who think they've ducked the bullet just haven't been married long enough to get the divorce that's coming their way. The actuarial tables on that reality are brutally clear on that point.
This is why men in Western culture, particularly the U.S., have tapped out of marriage entirely, and aren't coming back anytime soon. It may be generations from now it changes, if ever.
Until we eliminate "I'm not happy" as cause for divorce, and eliminate all financial incentives to either party for getting one, it only gets worse from here.
Slavery and indentured servitude were made unconstitutional by the Thirteenth Amendment, but divorce courts evidently never got that memo, and still act as if it was 1700 in America. That, and the resurrection of the Tenth Amendment are the next two constitutional battles desperately in need of fighting and winning.
Hear, hear! What amazes me is how 'the system' assumes that what the woman says is true. There are cases piling up in some states where the woman flat out lied on the birth certificate, picking a name of somebody they tangentially knew. The 'father' not even having sex with the woman.
My step-daughter is finally getting married, fingers crossed. I gave her two pieces of advise. 1) When He comes thru the front door give him space to decompress. 2) You want Him to solve a problem, it will happen. But you better inquire as to 'how' as well. He will get results but everything is a trade off and you may not like what the trade offs are.
Not counting the news outlets or websites along the full range of accuracy and veracity, I follow multiple actual individuals' handwritten blogs. (Bot news aggregators don't thrill me.) Looking them over, many are current serving or former military and a couple are some variation of high-speed low-drag elite forces ninjas. Or just funny as all. Because life without humor is just despair. So in other words, the same folks I trusted in the military not to wet the bed, sh*t themselves, or otherwise run around like headless Nancys, are the same folks I trust on the interwebz, for demonstrating pretty much the same trustworthiness and circumspectly responsible behavior. Color me shocked.
