Non-nuclear EMPs would also be good for larger militaries; the British have been testing a variety of energy weapons in Ukraine.
Prediction: tech will be shrunk down so that a fully AI capable mgt system can be on a drone. Anything without the proper IFF becomes a target, be it man or machine. Jamming problem solved.
