The man really was able to change genres at a whim.
Sorry, but the ADHD makes me a little anal on some subjects… the album was “Let’s Dance”. The tour that followed was originally slated to have Stevie Ray Vaughan on lead guitar, but it is said that he was asking for 2 or 3 of his own songs to be included in the show. SRV rehearsed with Bowie and there’s a good recording of those sessions out there on the torrents.
So it was. I post these after the second of three 12-hour ER night shifts. No other excuse. Mea Culpa. Amended.
