Here's your handy link to everything I've ever written about Ebola, that I thusly tagged.
(I skimmed the last few months, back to a year ago; this guy is pretty good!)
It will work going forward, as long as Blogger is a going concern as well.
As previously noted, unless the current outbreak in DRC hits a city with a major international airport, escapes the African continent altogether, or starts posting 500-1000+ weekly new case numbers, expect the updates to come roughly monthly. That means the next one will happen when your calendar reads "August", barring something actually earth-shattering.
If I'm not talking about it, you can assume with reasonable safety the earth has not, in fact, been shattered.
YMMV. Void where prohibited by law. May contain peanuts. Entering this area may expose you to chemicals known to the state of Califrutopia to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. If this were an actual Ebola blog post, authorities would have told you what to do.

Thanks for putting these in one spot.
I just grabbed the link from Peter at BRM; his blog-fu is better than mine, obviously.
Neat!
I thought one of the key reasons the WHO finally acknowledged the outbreak as a crisis was the tested case in Goma, city of 2mm, but more importantly, the busiest international airport in the area.
NPR ran a news blurb about how the WHO declared the E-killer outbreak an "Internatoinal Emergency" just this morning.
Flights mainly connect to Goma, but there are some flights from there direct to Uganda and Ethiopia.
And you don't ring the international panic alarm for a couple of cases.
I suspect WHO just figured that now, the international community (read the U.S. & Western Europe) might pay more attention than they haven't for the last 11 months.

Ebola,or....Q-36 Explosive space modulator, either way does not look good!
Ebola just got ramped up to a Level 3 global emergency: https://www.nextbigfuture.com/2019/07/world-health-declares-ebola-outbreak-a-global-level-3-emergency.html#more-158243
Last weeks' news, and nothing to pay attention to.
That's just the UN monkeys rattling the cage to shake free more bananas from their keepers, not a statement of reality.
And today officials in Goma report a second case there - one believed to be unrelated to that of the preacher who entered the city a few days before the disease killed him two weeks ago.
Oh, look, they got this one into isolation just a day before he died. Great job, guys.
