What Country Is This?

h/t Zero Hedge

As Salt Lake City police beating up and arresting a nurse for telling them "No" according to a strict adherence to the law - because they thought they could get away with it - proves, this isn't America anymore, and nothing's changed between citizens and governments in the last 250 years.

As John Whitehead notes:

Link
Our freedoms - especially the Fourth Amendment - are being choked out by a prevailing view among government bureaucrats that they have the right to search, seize, strip, scan, shoot, spy on, probe, pat down, taser, and arrest any individual at any time and for the slightest provocation.
Such is life in America today that Americans are being made to relinquish the most intimate details of who we are - our biological makeup, our genetic blueprints, and our biometrics (facial characteristics and structure, fingerprints, iris scans, etc.) - in order to clear the nearly insurmountable hurdle that increasingly defines life in the United States: we are now guilty until proven innocent
Forced cavity searches, forced colonoscopies, forced blood draws, forced breath-alcohol tests, forced DNA extractions, forced eye scans, forced inclusion in biometric databases: these are just a few ways in which Americans are being forced to accept that we have no control over our bodies, our lives and our property, especially when it comes to interactions with the government.
RTWT.

Anyone with a lick of sense knew the whole damned freak show had jumped the shark when after 9/11, Congress voted to violate our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, rather than those of the troglodytes who came here to f**k all that up.

This was the correct answer for them then:

And if the police, the courts, and the legislatures don't pull their heads out of their asses, it's going to be the solution to our continual problems with them here, too.

Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
Possibly at around 2000 degrees F.

Call that toss in the air, jackboots. If you're not going to be on our side, then your side is only outnumbered about 50 to 1. Maybe even more. If everyone on our side shoots just one of yours, it's over by Monday, 8:10A for a Monday 8AM start-time.
Even if you get 10 of them for every one of you. Then there's only 120M of us left afterwards, and none of you. And our guys are thenceforth both blooded, and really pissed off. So please, do that math, jacktards. And say goodbye to your wives and children, forever.

Or, you can skip the toss, and elect to receive.

Some fools are itching for you to go with "B", and finally kick this thing off.
But I'm pretty sure by about 30 seconds in, you won't be.

How stupid is this?
The government has been juggling grenades with the pin pulled, while dancing on a razor's edge, barefoot. Blindfolded. Over a chasm. With an alligator pond at the bottom.
(If anything, I'm being too kind to the Minions Of Tyranny And Stupidity, which should be an official US cabinet agency.)

And against a people that has been yearning to blow up your Death Star their entire lives.

I do believe that this number is on the low side...but even if it isn't, NO ONE - not all the armies of the world combined - could take them all. They'd suffer grievous casualties in the process.
