Beyond Words

Good Sir,

As paltry as language is to express our inner feelings, amidst this darkest of times, we offer our sincere and deepest condolences to you at a loss so profound as to leave you beyond mere words. However crushing the burden, may you find comfort for your sorrow, and find a way through your grief, and out the other side. We thank you for all your kind words, and remember you daily, and most especially now.

Well said, Aesop. I am an old Navy guy, still work for the Navy with a bunch of other Old Navy guys. We all follow Remus religiously, and are mourning the loss of his wife. After a few recent losses, this hits home. Thanks for sharing, Sir.

Oh, Remus! There are no words.

Thank you for all you have done for us. There was—is—nothing like the anticipation of clicking on the Woodpile Report while drinking my coffee on Tuesday mornings and seeing a new column.

God bless you.

Tuesday morning. I refresh the site every 5 minutes starting Monday mid-evening just in hope! A truly unique blog and a treasure-so much knowledge and wisdom imparted. God rest her soul and may Remus find comfort in the prayers of his readers and the passage of time. May God bless and keep you.

I always look forward to Ol' Remus and his words of wisdom. Like "Stay away from crowds", more apt now than ever. My deepest condolences to the fine gentleman, with a fervent hope that he will find it in his power to generously continue his chosen labor of keeping us informed, amused, and uplifted through his fine website. Reading it makes Tuesdays worth getting through.

Condolences and best wishes to you, kind sir,

Remus, she is in God's hands. You are in my prayers.

Your Woodpile has been such an inspiration for myself and I hope you will continue to post your thoughts and wisdom.

We need it even more than before.

Remember Psalm 136-1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever. This Psalm has given me comfort for many decades and I hope it does for you also friend.

Remus,

Please accept my heartfelt condolences at your loss. I cannot imagine what you are going through. May time heal your pain and leave you only with the cherished memories of your beloved. I for one hope that you will - when the time is right - take up your proverbial pen again. Godspeed to you....

Remus,
having just lost a loved one last week myself, let yourself grieve, go out in Gods great nature on your own back 40 and be filled with her and his love. The woods, bird song, and the coming spring will help you deal with what now is all encompassing. I know it is helping me deal with my loss.
My heartfelt sympathy dear sir. Her pain has left this earth, leaving only your love for each other and wonderful memories to endure.
