Trump Indicted by Chiquitastan DoJ

¡Viva Chiquitastan!

This is my shocked face.

Analysis from CTH:

♦ THE TELL – Here’s the “tell” that every pundit, analyst and litigation expert will pretend they don’t notice.  It’s the funniest part of the entire thing and yet no one, again except us, is noticing it.  The DOJ has already predicated the baseline of their claim by saying they cannot tell anyone, even the court, what the nature of the documents are that underpin their assertion.  Remember, they wouldn’t even let a court appointed “special master” review the documents.

Stop and think about that for a moment.  NO ONE knows what the documents are, and the DOJ has stated they will never say what the documents are.  The DOJ is filing a case about the mishandling of documents, in whatever legal construct they put forth, while simultaneously saying they are under no obligation to tell anyone what the documents are.

DOJ: Trump violated USC 793 in his discussion and/or handling of documents.

Trump Lawyers: What documents?

DOJ: We can’t say, and we won’t tell you.

This kind of blatant pseudo-lawfare bullshit usually only happens in Turd World banana republics.

Even if he's acquitted,

The process is the punishment. Exactly as intended.

You now live in full-on unmitigated Chiquitastan, beyond any rational disputation.

You can knuckle under and look the other way.

Otherwise, people who've had enough are going to have fight it.

Physically. With bullets launched in malice.

Best wishes with interesting times ahead.

TPTB won't let you.
They're making that excruciatingly clear and obvious.

Dangerous territory, no question. I REALLY don't want to do 'interesting' times again...

Shit, the DOJ have been gunning for Trump for seven years running. Becoming really obvious this is entirely political, considering the 'In Your Face' Biden evidence of corruption and degeneracy is left as a heaping shit steamy mess. I hope God is watching and taking down names.

Given that Trump declassified all documents related to Crossfire Hurricane on 19Jan21, then if he were wise enough to create and securely store electronic copies of them elsewhere, there is no reason for him to not publish them on his Truth Social network.

The likeliest of outcomes, as always, will be the fire, brimstone, and FURIOUS ANGER of complaining, and it will be suffered through until the next indignity. Regardless, that the majority will swear and affirm otherwise. That's just my opinion, not a slight, jab, or insult.

Let's see if I got this right. The FSB(oops my bad) FBI could raid my house, scatter documents and cover sheets all over the floor, take pictures, then charge me with a security violation while ref using to say what the documents were related to or anything else about them. After all, I did have security clearances from TS/SCI through CONF/NOFORN and crypto access at various positions. For sure Beria would be proud of the NSA, DOJ/FBI.
To Gimpy's point, hat may be the only reason DJT hasn't been defenestrated or Epsteined, or McDougaled. They can't be sure he didn't.

Such an obvious effort to further galvanize the right, or to goad us into some sort of violent response, (keep in mind that they call 1/6 an armed insurrection)

I don't think they can imagine in their dreams what a true violent insurrection would look like, or the carnage that would ensue.

The Democrat Gestapo is after the guy with fake micron-level hair-splitting lawfare. Trump won't ever back down...however Lake Maggiorre is looking pretty good and I wouldn't blame him one bit. Knowing these cretins they'd send the F14's to shoot his jet down then say it was accidental.

Anyone else notice that Wray stonewalled the Oversight Committee with the Bribem bribe investigation documents until the DOJ had the all the I's dotted and T's crossed on the Trump indictment paperwork and the believable coininkidink that Trump's indictment was handed down on the same day as the REDACTED Bribem bribe doc's were finally viewed by the Committee?

Look, over there, squirrel!

Comey, Wray, et al should be tried and sentenced to LWOP in SuperMax.
FBI, CIA, NSA, IRS, etc., need to be abolished outright, their former members put on trial, and the few non-culpable put on terrorism watch lists for life, with the edifices burned and bulldozed until the remaining rubble would pass for table salt and ground pepper.
They are a cancer on the republic.

It was not an oversight that the Constitution established no national federal police force. But it was an oversight not to expressly prohibit one.

The federal police forces are the standing army of the government that we were warned about.

Just hoping you could write another article about Ukraine's glorious offensive, now that we are three or four days in.

Aesop said...

You seem to know all about it, Brave Anonymous Keyboard Commando; what would be the point?
The Russian Defense Ministry are perpetually claiming to have destroyed the entire Ukrainian Army about every four days.
Yet neutral observers note that the battle lines keep moving back towards Russia's border.
Quite the poser, that one is.

That's alright, just checking in to see if the winds had changed yet.

Why did Trump's lawyers quit the day of the indictment?

Because this:
https://nitter.net/i/status/1667248343255220227
while admittedly a bit ebonics-styled, does make complete sense of why the lawyers would decide to do that at that particular juncture. If the pattern of behavior described IS what Trump was doing - and the number of specific quotes attributed to him either backs that up or indicates an unparalleled falsification effort, and frankly having the quotes be legit would be entirely in line with his personality - then the question of what is or is not on one specific document and whether a specific (classified) document is something they don't want to release to the general worldwide public - these issues start looking much less important compared to the pattern of behavior and the question of dude, just WTF were you thinking to act like this, anyway.

Yes, yes, Hillary's emails, Biden's garage, Hunter's laptop. I know. I would very much like a detailed accounting of what specifically was in her emails or in the garage as compared to what was in Trump's boxes, to get an idea of whether it really is "just as bad" or "way worse in this case" which are the two evidence-free rhetorical positions being shouted without any specific facts presented. I'm not going to go jumping into anything without some facts. I've seen enough grifting liars on the right in the past few years that I don't trust rightwing claims any more than those from the left.

"I don't think they can imagine in their dreams what a true violent insurrection would look like, or the carnage that would ensue."

This bullshit has been spouted online for as long as I've been watching the political interenet, and at this point I'm sure of two things

1) they absolutely imagine very clearly what it would look like, which is why they've been so effective and focused on repeatedly defusing any nucleus of organization
2) there is not going to be any violent insurrection. Just continued hotheads running their mouths and occasionally pratfalling into fed custody. This system is going to continue until it runs down or evolves into something else. It's not going to be overthrown, not by the present population in the USA.
