A succinct description of crazies I have heard. Why I got out of the business of trying to cure and help the crazies. They wanted to be there, there is no hope to bring them back to a modicum productive citizen. They like their crazy and non responsible life style. Only goals are their next fix, drunk binge and a little food and warmth.
I have not heard or read anyone yet make the following point. Have you? Perhaps it’s too just soon and there’s a lot going on already this week.
Imagine that the LA fires happened in September 2024. What would have been the CA political ramifications in the November 2024 election?
I’m not suggesting major electoral changes would have occurred in CA, but I do think that there would have been some lost down ballot races that might have been won and the CA presidential popular vote would have scared the you-know-what-out of the-powers-that- be more than the actual vote even did without the fire.
Weren’t a few of those too-close-call races for Congress in CA? Weren’t there at least 5 races or so? I seem to recall that the last few settled races were in CA.
Going forward in future elections after the fire disaster, how could there not be significant changes to the mono block lockstep thinking?
I believe that you reside in CA. I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts and how this disaster might color the future.
What are average CA people saying in public spaces? It appears that some in Hollywood suddenly found their voices and are asking hard questions. Is anyone else? What is Joe Average Guy discussing in the cafes while he’s eating his breakfast?
One of the reasons I don’t think I’m hearing anything about any of this is because the Democrats and the Media are frightened bleep-less just thinking about it and what the future could hold for CA.
Perhaps this is why Emperors always were tailored stylish expensive clothes. They never wish to appear nude. The people suddenly become afraid and question things when their leaders appear to be naked and witless.
Going forward please let’s not let the larger Them get off the hook. The blame here shouldn’t be on a person or a small group of people, it’s an entire mind set and political ideology. Scapegoating individuals just makes it easy for Them to continue.

Not counting the news outlets or websites along the full range of accuracy and veracity, I follow multiple actual individuals' handwritten blogs. (Bot news aggregators don't thrill me.) Looking them over, many are current serving or former military and a couple are some variation of high-speed low-drag elite forces ninjas. Or just funny as all. Because life without humor is just despair. So in other words, the same folks I trusted in the military not to wet the bed, sh*t themselves, or otherwise run around like headless Nancys, are the same folks I trust on the interwebz, for demonstrating pretty much the same trustworthiness and circumspectly responsible behavior. Color me shocked.
