Narrative Whiplash

h/t WRSA

When somebody's bullshit narrative whips around on itself 180°, so fast that they first step on their junk with cleats hard enough to make it bleed, and then continue so rapidly that they run right up their own ass headfirst, they have suffered a catastrophic Narrative Whiplash.

Usually that kind of thing hurts:

Or at least, it ought to.

Some of the more obvious previous historical examples are things like "We had to destroy the village in order to save it", "Globull Warming/GlobullCooling/Climate Change/Weather", "White hispanic", and "We can't afford $4B to build a wall, but we can afford $200B to take care of an army of illegal aliens".

Occam's Razor says that when you sound crazier than a shithouse rat, and have to flop around like a live fish in a frying pan to try and contort delusion into reality, you're done, and it's best to just admit you were full of shit all along, fess up to being caught at it, and slither away without adding further embarrassment.

Not to mention all the male Putin fangirls crowing “victory!” every time his army advances a kilometer, even if it’s shower than the battle of Passchendaele. Adiivka is merely the latest example.

When did Putin ever invoke "jews" as a reason for invasion? Straw man FAIL

Slow and steady wins the race with fewer casualties

@Anon 4:29A,
Pity you were too stupid to follow the links in the post.
Fallacy diagnosis FAIL.
Thinking's not your game, Ike.

@Anon 4:31A,
Every day any war goes on, more people die.
Slow and steady racks up the casualties, without winning anything.
Google "pyrhhic".

Narratives are narratives. Like a bunch of Saudis (indestructible passports) doing an attack in one country while living in another, so invade The Graveyard of Empires instead of using the trained assassins in the Navy to scalpel out the problem.

Then re-attack another country for yellow-cake uranium but stay and run it for over a decade, but continue staying past the second decade mark because power vacuum, unlike the bases in the adjoining third country to not rob oil for our only friends but because ISIL co-created with the oil-receiving democracy buddies who are attacking the retards that were previously removed from The Paris of the Middle East to Tunisia by US taxpayers.

Narratives are boob-bait for armchair generals that get White farmboys killed overseas.

I'm with Anon on this one ("When did Putin ever invoke "jews" ") The content at WRSA, however valuable, can be rather haphazard. There is a link to the RT piece; but Putin's remarks never get close to the J-word. Under the link is an un-identified meme - unrelated - which speculates - probably correctly - about (Jewish) plans for Ukraine. Replacement population plan on steroids coming up!
I think you have been correct in portraying the Russian military adventure in Ukr as largely a failure but that doesn't mean that Ukraine is not badly wrecked and has suffered a catastrophic population loss outcome. There's a vid out there which purports to show Russian soldiers capturing a front line Ukr soldier in which it turns out she is a young pregnant woman.
Too bad they can't both lose! - ... But come to think of it - they are both taking a run at that outcome.

Actually, Putin's been remarkably consistent since he ascended to dictator-for-life: all your countries are belong to Russia, on any pretext we can manufacture.
The fabrications to justify it are really a matter of complete indifference to me, and generally just rationalizations for the gullible.
The old cop proverb applies: "Never mind what they say; watch their hands."
If I had the time and the font, I'd print it out as "Boob bait for the Bubbas" in Cyrillic, because that applies with Russia, for at least 500 years.
