No one who matters gives a f**k about these rent-a-shill c*nts and their command hallucinatory allegations.
The president-elect appointed someone? Unless you have video proof of them with a dead girl or a live boy, no one else should GAF either. It's background noise, and we aren't playing by their rules any more.
Ultimately, if his picks aren't confirmed, Trump should fire everyone he can at that agency/department, step in himself, and send everyone else there home on unpaid leave until his choices are confirmed. Let it grind to a screeching halt.
We can get to less government by January 21st, 2025 that way, and the screams would penetrate 30' of reinforced concrete in 0.2 seconds.
On January 22nd, if they still don't get it, he should start closing every federal office and building in every Democrat's district and state, including the Post Office. If that means moving entire military commands out to other bases/states, so be it. Call it a deployment readiness exercise.
By Day Three, all his picks would be confirmed, 100-0.
You play ball with the Donald, or you get the bat shoved up your @$$. With barbed wire embedded in the business end.
He should have taught them that lesson by Day Two of his first term, but it's never too late to readjust their perspective on "Who run Bartertown?"
This kind of realpolitik isn't pretty. It's f***ing beautiful.
Personally, I'd start with Adam Schiff-head, and start pulling the military out of their CA bases at 0001 hours on January 22nd next year, until further notice, and put every government contract hereabouts on indefinite hold. Including redeploying the entire Coast Guard currently in the state, and all air traffic controllers, out of the state entirely. The Navy would be told to anchor in international waters, and every other swinging Richard would be removed from the state NLT midnight, same day.
Schiff-head would find out where his bread was buttered before the morning paper hit his doorstep the next morning, and that would be the end of that, at warp speed.
Grab the Senate by the pussy.
And take notes on who started this crap, and pay them back every single day, until they cry and beg for mercy. Then kick them while they're down. In the crotch.
Remember this scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark?:
Marion Ravenwood:"I can be reasonable!"
Major Toht, waving a red hot poker "That time is passed."
Ravenwood: "Wait! I'll tell you everything!"
Toht, basking in the glow of that poker "Yes. I know you will."
That needs to be every single day of the coming administration, until their biggest fear is drawing Trump's attention, let alone his ire.
Elections have consequences. Losing this one means the party out of power gets to suck it, hard, every single day, until they learn to suck less. If that's even possible.

Dear YHWH,
Please please send Micha-el and Gabri-el to watch over these two, as they do their work....

So what if the Senate doesn't confirm them? Many appointees are hired as Contractors and do the job for months until they are confirmed.
They can tear up the department until the Senate explicitly turns them down - which is extremely rare; usually the Senate just sits on nominations they don't like.
I like the idea of Trump personally taking on departments, but he has so much to do he needs others to do it for him.

But...But...But think of the children....
"Eighteen months after the pandemic ended, nearly two-thirds of the country's 2.2 million federal workers are still approved to work from home."
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/ramaswamys-jackhammer-chain-saw-plan-force-federal-workers-back-office-rcna180732
So 1.5 million fed workers still working from home 40-50% of the time? That looks like a target rich environment for VivElon.
Take the FBI. DJT could layoff the entire building in DC and the FBI would still function in some fashion. Most of the personnel is field staff across the country. DoJ would be even more butt hurt if DJT did similar.
But if we want to get the Senators attention start canceling contracts and programs in various States around the country from the DoD. DoD is the motherload when it comes to public trough hogging. A good second would be closing SS offices in selected areas.
That would last 5 seconds. Then the impeachment would be filed, the House would impeach with the able assistance of R's, and the Senate would convict with enthusiastic McConnell-type "well I never!!!" GOP cheerleaders.
@Anon 3:33P
Not bloody likely.
A significant number of [R]s in House and Senate races got there on DJT's coattails, and both they and their voters know that. They aren't going to form a circular firing squad for anything short of actual treason, and this isn't the Pelosi House nor the Schumer Senate any more.
Beyond that, it would simply kick off a shooting revolution by the day after.
And Vance would continue the same policies. Probably with even more flamethrower.
If they started another impeachment on him, it would come to a sudden halt, likely at gunpoint, and it would be a brave new world.
Actuality: Congress would shit themselves, resign themselves to the new realities, and Trump would laugh from the Oval Office unscathed.
Two years from now is a different story. By 2026, people are positioning themselves for the 2028 elections.
And if it looks like Vance by a wide margin, they'll still shut up and take their lumps.
If government isn't literally and drastically smaller by then, this is already a failed attempt to rein in Leviathan once and for all.
Plan accordingly.
I have a neighbor that works for Uncle. She's a supervisor of a large department. She goes in two days a week since Nov 5th. Before that it was 1 day a week for last four years and some times none.

There's a meme out there captioned The Eff Bee Eye didn't "make mistakes or "break rules or policies". "They committed crimes." I'd add "in multiple states and jurisdictions and at the direction of a President, Vice President and Secretary of State".
That's why the deep state and elected Demonrat office holders past and present are crapping their drawers and bolting for the exits. They know Gaetz is the real deal as are every one of the rest of Trump's cabinet pics and more than 1 or 2 have an ax to grind.
Nemo
...and Gaetz withdraws with Trump accepting. The Demonrats and RINO's claim their first scalp before Trump's first day. With this being the case, we're back to box #3 because Trump isn't going to get eff all accomplished, just like last time. I thought both of them had more balls.
Nemo
Great.
So we lose a congressman and a cabinet officer in one fell swoop.
Trump should double down, and pick someone twice as horrifying, and back them to the hilt.
OR orange man can sit back and wait until they are in recess and do the ron regan thing and appoint his picks. It might slow down the shredders a little.
Every president has done recess appointments, usually 20-30/yr, on average.
Trump should ram through about 2000 of them, to drive the point well home.
And they should be people so rabid and unpalatable that members of the Senate have heart attacks.
I nominate Alex Jones. CongressCritters would dropping like flies just thinking of the consequences of discovery motions.
Use the power that is in the office to make the rubble bounce.
Having watched Gaetz savage various heads of agencies, It would be difficult to find someone twice as horrifying. Gaetz is an attack dog.
McTurtle still looks like a big pain for PDJT. The MAGA coalition needs to hold a RINO intervention.

Yertle needs to retire and go home to die, but Thune is just Yertle 2.0.
This is how the [R]s snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, every time they get the chance.
No, they wouldn't. Not. Even. Close. Do you realize it takes 2/3 in the Senate to convict?
