Dear France: Insert Shotgun To Mouth, Pull Trigger

  1. Yeah.

The problem is that imperialism/colonialism started at a time when the European populations were expanding, they all thought that was great, and they had zero qualms about eliminating native populations and moving in to replace them. That's largely what happened in North America (the Spanish tried to be a lot nicer and more Christian about it in their areas, marrying the native women; judge results for yourself).

When France (and England, and Germany, and the Boers) set out to colonize Africa, their demographics were no longer capable of supporting the tremendous expansion required, and societal norms were no longer willing to engage in wholesale slaughter and displacement. So what had been a successful strategy was imitated in a cargo-cult manner and produced results contrary to expectations.

Also, the tremendous differences in immune-system abilities between Eurasia (where people were constantly dealing with duck/chicken/pig diseases hopping the species barrier) and the Americas (where there were essentially zero domestic animals) made for a de facto biological warfare that totally clobbered the New World natives. Africa didn't have the same vulnerability.

  3. The primary motive for importing the 3rd world was cheap labor. Always has been. It was only after the Bolsheviks repeatedly failed to start a working-class revolution outside of Russia that they started pretending to care about the 3rd world, and realized it was a more effective weapon.

  4. Actually, in the Uniparty in every country, the "conservatives" want the cheap labor, and the communists want to give them citizenship to get their votes.

It's been a self-greasing axle for decades in this country since Eisenhower.

  5. France is merely experiencing the third stage of Jihad -- the physical conquering part. We Americans will experience something similar but without the religious aspects. 'Soylent Green' comes to mind.

Indeed. The Pols just never seem to consider the second order effects that come with their proposition. For the right, the 'cheap labor' was never capable of producing above their consumption rate. For the left, the votes wane by the second generation as they grow up understanding what the scam is and reject it.

AI is going to cause a massive reordering of what capitalism is and operates that the 1st order political proposition will be moot.
