Our birthright is monumental. Where we are shows how much has been lost. And much of that loss, simply surrendered.
But whatever happens to the United States, Liberty and Freedom have never gone out of style.
It's just that once in awhile, when they've been pushed around by bullies and thugs, they need someone to twist a few arms, crack a few heads, or even slit a few throats and stack some bodies on their behalf.
Back in the day - and yesterday - people chose not to pay attention to the fact that they were going to have to fight and earn their independence every single day, and year after year.
This isn't a new fight.
It's the same old one.
The people who will win, find that an animating struggle, not a perpetual slog. Be of good cheer.
And whenever opportunity presents, kill a commie for mommie.
I tell the Youngn's of the clan -- "Love your country unwavering. Make the government to prove its worth everyday."

Amen. That's why I'm a proponent of restoration.
ReplyDeleteAs I keep saying: the Constitution doesn't defend us, WE have to defend IT. Failure to correctly discharge that burden of responsibility brings about the consequences we see all around us today.
ReplyDeletesome years ago, ol' Wirecutter posted about learning of "the duty" from his pops. I remember reading it because I learned of "the duty" from my dad as well. "Son, it sucks, just about every time; but sometimes, the duty falls to you. And that is when you step up because you're a man". As the years passed, I learned that it's because you're a father, or a husband, or a Christian, or a brother - or, a good son. Many times a combination of those. Yeah, it's gonna suck, but the duty falls to us.
ReplyDeleteThere's going to be a fight. Let's win.
