(American Partisan)"The more I ponder the mass demonstration being promoted by the Virginia Citizens Defense League for the annual Lobby Day at the Richmond Capitol, the more it looks like a disaster in the making. I wish it were otherwise, but I see many times more downside risk than possible upside benefit.
Even if Virginia Senate Bill 16 is passed, banning nearly all semi-automatic firearms, the new law will be challenged in court, and given the potential dire outcomes, the case will rapidly ascend to the SCOTUS. This process will take years, and Governor Ralph Northam and the Democrat majority in the legislature may be voted out in the meantime, and the law overturned. So why, before all that happens, go charging into Richmond in just a few weeks? Will rabidly anti-gun urban Democrats be convinced to change their minds because of a mass rally by their despised deplorable enemies? Not a chance. Instead, it will only harden their resolve. Now let’s look at the downside risks, which I have divided into overlapping scenarios, from best to worst case. ... " - Matt BrackenRTWT
Yet again, the choice for Virginians is not doing something vs. doing nothing.
It's a choice between doing something stupid and futile, vs. doing something smart.
You have heard this material before.
You will see it again.
Happy landings.

Anybody local heard anything about VCDL's medical contingency response plan...?
Yeah.
Thought so.
Doing Something Can Be Done Alone And In Private.
ReplyDeleteSorry More Folks Don't Grok That.
Hold a party and don't show up, give them their Pyrrhic victory and wait to fight it in the courts and the ballot box. Don't interrupt your enemy when they are revealing their true selves.

ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha !
Often i think Aesop to be overly abrasive (and like he sayz: his house, his rules) but thank you for the link to American Partisan! Anyone who still plans on attending w/o RTWT...do so not only at your own peril, but geez, thanks for giving the demoncrats the FFO that makes 2A supporters look like the enemy to the voting sheeple masses... what’s a FFO? go RTWT...
ReplyDeleteI yell because I care.
ReplyDeleteBut you can't use facts and logic to argue someone out of a jackassical position that he didn't use facts and logic to get himself into.
Most wars are started by idiots trying to prove a point.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to Bracken, I'm going to put it up over on the Ace of Spades HQ Gab group, h/t Aesop of course. It kind of makes one sick to watch this; they're obligingly teeing up Charlottesville II for Lefty, with high potential body count. And nothing anyone says is going to stop it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Aesop. It is reasonable to assume that protesting the enemy of human rights will change their direction of thought less than can be measured. Why waste the time when you should be preparing for the legal and other sorts of battles which will inevitably need to be fought in the future so that the children of Virginia and this nation can live in true freedom.
ReplyDeleteConsidering that they ran as "moderates" and clearly want to govern as radicals/tyrants is it possible to start a recall petition for the Democrat State Senators and Delegates that won in close elections, the Democrats have only a 2 seat margin in the Senate and a 5 vote margin in the House of Delegates, perhaps the voters will have learned to not trust them, and to show up at the polls and kick them out. Perhaps even the threat of such action will dissuade a few of them to not go along with Governor Coonman
ReplyDeletea) Brilliant. Truly.
ReplyDeleteb) Sounds like Work.
Therefore
c) Not an option for the mentally challenged and/or clueless, which will be the overwhelming majority of the Tard Army who shows up for Buffalo Jump v2.0.
They already have open mic grabs of Dem VA reps planning on ignoring all the yak from the 2A folks who show up on the 20th.
Like they were going to do anything else.
Folks attending the January 20 Richmond Lobby Day / RKBA rally should understand that LE will have downtown Richmond on near lockdown that day, and as folks approach Capitol Square they’ll be funneled into bag checks/metal detectors, so CCW pieces will be screened out, forcing folks with pistols to turn around and go back to their parking lots/buses to stash them.
ReplyDeleteThe feds are expert at this process, for example, around venues where the POTUS will speak, or even NFL football games.
They know very well how to set up temp chain link and herd folks into funnels, and everybody will be filmed and their phone information will be automatically collected for social network analysis. It will be an intel bonanza for the feds.
(The new FBI SAC (Archey) in Richmond is a counterintel expert. And he was lead FBI investigator under Mueller.)
These temp fence funnels are subtle, very wide open like fish weirs at the outer end, so by the time you see the mouth getting tight, if you turn around, you are already being observed and filmed for your “suspicious activity” in making a U-turn.
The feds are masters at this process of weeding out/identifying potential “troublemakers.”
I’d advise leaving CCW pistols in cars, they will just provide LE a means to screen you out of Capitol Square.
In America, Freedom of Speech is used mostly by the Left, and the Right is relegated to a corner, and told to sit down and color.
ReplyDeleteIt's well PAST time to make a point of standing up and using the First Amendment Right to defend the Second Amendment.
Sitting on one's ass doing NOTHING is how the Left wins.
Fearmongering against men and women who believe in the right to keep and bear arms, regardless of your position on the subject is counter productive. While I agree with Mr. Bracken in principle, I disagree this a "buffalo jump". Instead, it can be turned to a stampede and run down the offenders. Not a threat, just a fact.
America is in dire straits from men like Virginia's Governor, and for all the wrong reasons. Virginia needs to rise up, and stand their ground, be VISIBLE, be Clear.
NO MORE ATTACKS ON #2A
@APRC,
ReplyDeleteSo where in fucktardation did anyone tell people to do nothing?
Oh, wait, you mean that never happened?!?!? What a shocker.
So what you're telling me with that response is that you're an intelligence-challenged moron, with the reading comprehension of a first grader, thinking with your dick, leading with your chin, and too lazy to know the difference between doing nothing, and doing nothing that stupid, if you think this is going to accomplish anything useful. Reality is not "fearmongering".
This event will get you nothing you want, everything you shouldn't want, and set you back months, if not years, if/when it (almost certainly) explodes in everyone's faces. And if there's a body count, for any reason whatsoever, God help the organizers.
Every fucknut who runs full speed at a brick wall is not my brother just because he likes his guns, and every jackhole who sets himself on fire is not "doing something", except something stupid, futile, wasteful, and detrimental to what they claim to hold dear.
Try using your freedom of speech to uphold a right by not being a bigger jackass than the idiots that dreamed up this planned clusterfuck.
And if you're going to stand your ground, maybe try standing on your ground, and not trying to stage a temper tantrum on the enemy's ground.
Even Patton said "A good plan now is better than a perfect plan next week."
He did not say "A stupid jackassical plan now is better than a sensible plan next week."
You should change your mind, or change your handle to American Patriot Fantasy Check. People aren't telling folks not to play stupid games because we hate you.
We're telling you because your hearts are in the right place, but your heads are so far up your asses you can't see daylight. And this is one of those times that stupid is going to hurt, and leave a mark.
Put your peckers back in your underpants, and get your heads out of them.
I can't say it any plainer than that.
