Brother From Another Mother

Brad Upton.

Never heard of him before five minutes ago.

Now I'm wondering what the hell he's doing inside my head.
"Our parents let us play with guns, knives, and fireworks. Know what happened to the stupid kids? They didn't make it!"
One correction though:
Twenty-somethings aren't the stupidest people alive.
Their parents from the '90s, and their grandparents from the late '60/early'70s are.

Three generations of dipshits is a tough genetic lottery current for one generation of jackholes to buck, all on their own.
And "help" from their family is the problem, not the solution.

  1. The daughter of a friend babysat my girls once. After sitting, she went home to her mom wailing, "mom, they don't have a tv, and they only have one phone...and it's a ROTARY!!!" She was beyond traumatized by this circumstance, and never returned.

  3. I played with guns, knives and fireworks (well, to be more specific, Estes rocket engines--minus the rocket). I'm still here. Still playing, too, except for the rocket engines. Are Estes rocket engines sold anymore?

P.S. I may not be a robot, but Captcha makes me feel like one.

  4. The Estes stuff is still sold at WalMart, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels Crafts.
    Seen it at all three.

  5. I repeat a lot of that wall phone type of stuff to my kids and their friends. To have fun with it when their phone beeps, buzzes, dings or rings I start hollering "hurry up get it its got to be something important". Ha Ha. I forgot about the despair when I missed answering a call that was funny.
