Indiana Jones V: Spoiler Alert

Image copyright Paramount Pictures:
IJ4: Indiana Jones And The Temple Of What The F**k?

Saw the trailer for IJ5 last week ahead of the final John Wick installment. No word yet on whether the stunts will be CGI, use 80 year-old Harrison Ford himself, or if they'll just sub in a stunt cripple. But word to SNL: If you need a guy to do Biden in comedy sketches, while Harrison's about the right age, Nick Nolte is the right age and identical mental status!

  1. Oh come now Aesop, you know Ford will just be there to hand off the franchise to some PC character, probably a woman if the total destruction of the Star Wars franchise is anything to go by.

  2. Karen Allen is only 71 YO, give her a break.

    Yes, she's younger than me, but older than my wife.

  3. @Rhea,
    Time will tell, but it would run true to form.
    @Pat,
    And she looked like she'd been living on the streets, homeless, since 1986.
    Did you see Cryptkeeper in IJ & The Temple Of WTF??
    The last time I saw anything that old on-screen, it was a History Channel episode about Hatshepsut from 1400 B.C. Allen looked worse than the after picture of the people that looked at the opened Ark Of The Covenant, and she should have shot her agent on general principles.
    Anybody who remembered her from her late 70s-early 80s heyday who saw her in that last flick probably had their junk shrink 3 sizes.

  4. I think Nick is probably more lucid on any random day. And couldn't do a worse job than Brandon.

  5. Overlord DVD/Doomcock on YouTube has all the dirt on IJ5 if you interested. It's a mess.

  6. Thanks for the reminder. Haven't checked out Doomcock in awhile, and his reviews are always funnier than the shitshows he dishes.

  7. Nick Nolte is too lucid to be Pedo Joe.

  8. Talk of Nolte makes me want to watch North Dallas Forty again.
