FBI Crook McCabe *Almost* Retires

h/t WRSA

(MORDOR) Attorney General Jeff Sessions late Friday night fired former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, a little more than 24 hours before McCabe was set to retire.

Sessions announced the statement in a statement just before 10 p.m., noting that both the Justice Department Inspector General and the FBI office that handles discipline had found "that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the media and lacked candor - including under oath - on multiple occasions."

Somebody at FBI has quite a wry sense of humor.
Well played, boys.

It's also surprising to see that Sessions was awake after suppertime, and still has a detectable pulse, let alone some vague idea of how to conduct business at the Dept. of Justus, but it was nice of him to finally make an appearance.

Oh, and "lacking candor" also goes by the less obfuscatory phrase "lied his ass off", and when it's under oath, the Federal Code has another clever term for the action:

Perjury. - 18 USC 1621

Let's see what he's willing to cough up on his minders in exchange for not doing the whole nut on 5 years in federal PYITA prison.

An indictment, which should be a virtual certainty, would pretty well kill his credibility for any testimony in front of Mueller, unless the special prosecutor wants to rack up a count of subornation of perjury himself.

No wonder Shrillary's getting drunk by noon every day.

  2. "Almost" only counts in handgrenades and horseshoes.

Good riddance McCabe. Now, if only "Do-Nothing" Sessions would grab his mangina and "Lock her up" !

  3. McCabe will have to wait until age 57 to collect his pension now. But his wife took 700K from Clinton surrogates while he managed the Clinton e-mail scandal - and he can keep that. So parsing that out, he has $100K a year from graft to hold him over.

    Yeah, and Lock-Her-Up...

  4. I'm sure any shortfalls in his retirement or pension will be offset by media, book, press appearances, and "consulting" gigs.
    Charge and prosecute him.

  5. I think it has to be noted this was not orchestrated by Trump but is in fact a result of an internal IG investigation that was requested by the Democrats before Trump was elected.

  6. Right.
Because Eric Holder or Loretta Lynch would totally have done the exact same thing under Obama.
Starting with the IG investigation itself.

Say, funny how all those agents at DoJ and the FBI doing all those political activities against Trump were reporting those efforts to Lynch and Obozo, per their own e-mails, huh?

And I've got a pink slip on the Golden Gate Bridge for you, for only $50.

  7. Where are the indictments?
If any of these assholes broke the law, and we know they did, why are we celebrating a "firing"?

  8. REALLY want the cases to hold up when they are brought.

I watched some corruption stuff take several YEARS to go to trial, and virtually EVERYONE in NEOhio KNEW that Dimora and Co were dirty as coal hods...the folks building the cases made them air tight, which is what I hope is happening in Just-us now.

  9. I'll choose to "accentuate the positive" and be happy the blatant betrayal I was anticipating didn't happen. Ol' Boy did some work, perhaps he'll get a taste for it.
Yeah ok Office Andy's probably got some cash, but he's very recognizable and doesn't have retired LEO carry creds.

  10. One hypothesis is that the firing happened at the last possible moment because the pension was being used as a bargaining chip to motivate McCabe to turn on his associates.

  11. Andy is moving on.

  13. I would have thought his years as an SA and an SSA would have carried the retired LEO creds....

  14. There are reports that he is worth 11 million. Not chicken change. He is not hurting for money by all reports....

  15. McCabe's wife is an M.D., I believe. So, mama brings home the bacon, and he may come from money since he went to Duke (effing Dookies). Since he's not the brightest bulb in the pack, I doubt he'll cut a deal like: Ohr, Priestap, Strzok, and Page have done, and still lose. But he did throw his former boss Comey under the bus, which was nice to see... Stock up on popcorn when the IG report hits, and watch the commies....errr I mean liberals freak out. Season 2 of The Apprentice DC starts when that hits.
