Probably the better recognized version is by Dusty Springfield that was the intro to the James Bond flick, 'Casino Royale' v1, debuted in '68 if memory serves. The list of covers for that song are as long as my arm.
You're conflating two totally separate compositions which share only the same title. This version is an original piece, and isn't a cover of anyone, least of all the song with that title written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David.
The two pieces are as alike as Beethoven's "Fifth Symphony", and "Classical Gas".
