"I like a good story, well told. That is the reason I am sometimes forced to tell them myself." - Mark Twain
From the thirdish iteration of Jefferson Starship, the newly Grace Slick-less group's hard-rocking Top 20 hit from 1979.
I think that was recorded when Micky Thomas was singing with the Starship. He sang lead with Elvin Bishop's band on "Fooled Around and Fell in Love".https://youtu.be/0MtX1-i6Zu8?si=-zOc5iaf75qD2Zyr
Saw them in concert a couple of year later when Grace was touring with them again. IIRC she stayed in the background when they performed this one.
Excellent choice.
I saw them about two years ago with Cathy Richardson. Worth seeing if you never saw them back in the day.
