Dear Naomi Wolf: No Sale

Some people in the blogosphere have been falling all over themselves, and more will undoubtedly do so, to post or link to Naomi Wolf's belated apology for being a mouth-hooked bullshit gargler, and suddenly coming to the epiphany that she was lied to by the government, and by the mainstream media (but we repeat ourself) about January 6th.

Natzsofast, Guido.

Deeds, not words.

Easy apologies are cheap, and weak sauce, even if they constitute a bare first step along the right path.

Start agitating as loudly for justice for the political prisoners held without any Constitutional rights since their arrest for what has been falsely characterized as "insurrection", and in fact barely rises to the level of a college dorm panty raid.

And then, follow the bread crumbs to the precipitating event: Admit that the media coronation of Emperor Stumblefuck Poopypants - which was the entire reason for the Jan. 6th rally - was the most blindingly bald-faced and gargantuan Big Lie in modern history, and the odds that a man who couldn't fill rallies in a gas station bathroom drew more votes than a man whose rallies filled college stadiums are about 81,000,000:1, against.

Do that, and shout it from the rooftops, hammer it home from every available soapbox, and post it on every vertical flat surface from coast to coast, and maybe we can think about forgiveness.

Otherwise, such a tepid and half-hearted repentance is too little, too late, and clearly comes from no deeper than a mealy mouth and quivering lips, rather than coming from the heart.

We've seen this schtick before, from better actors...

If all this amounts to is belated crocodile tears and rank patronization, allow me to speak on behalf of the wrongly defamed and reviled half of the country: no one cares that you feel bad about being a jerk all this time.

Different song, same lyrics:
This is my shocked face. (h/t WRSA)

  1. When she camps out at the federal prison sidewalk on a hunger strike for weeks and tells the media that Trump is the real president I might consider taking her seriously. Might.

  2. Enjoyed reading that and agree with you. What I don't understand about the J6 defendants is why their defense attorneys haven't raised the 'fair and speedy trial' issue with the courts not to mention their unusual conditions of pretrial confinement.

  3. Agreed.

The "news" is as staged as the footage the Left let out. Me? I'm willing to let her learn, but it will be years before I trust her.

  4. I've lost count of the number of politicians, doctors, scientists and celebrities who've 'come out' and suddenly admitted they were wrong about the coof tyranny recently (using word-for-word the almost the exact same non-apologetic-apology statement). each and every one of whom cheerfully demanded careers ended, arrests, forced medication, imprisonment or even death, yet we are supposed to forgive and forget because they ... pretend to apologise?!

'This' is exactly the same thing. She doesn't really regret anything, she (and they) always knew, but were fine with it when they thought they were getting away with it/winning.

Now she/they are starting to fear, and are pre-emptively trying to pretend they are innocent/ distance themselves from the rest of the guilty.

You don't get to pretend to have been lied to when you've been part of the system doing the lying in first place. It's just the rats trying to leave the sinking ship, and no, doing so doesn't somehow make her better, she's still a rat.

Oh, and I don't want an apology, however genuine. I want punishment for the crimes these rodents committed.

  5. A few of the more prescient rats are looking over the side of the burning, listing ship; they're still rats who -unless they take the steps prescribed deserve their fate.

  6. Conversely, I'm willing to give her a little credit where credit is due.
She doesn't have to apologize for being wrong on this matter. Most Leftist are just going to double down on the Insurrection Narrative like Dapper Dan did on the Bush TNG Memo, or Fauci on everything. Sticking to the story would not harm her in any way in the eyes of the Democrat Media complex. Publicly taking a small taste of the Red Pill by a member of the Left establishment should be celebrated and encouraged.

Of course, like with JK Rowling/ Bill Mahr/ Matt Tabbi, dumping one of the Left's current darling talking points is not a full sign of conversion to the straight & true; nor a sign that they should be trusted to the full... but we shouldn't put blind trust in anyone anyway.

  8. Never trust a Leftist even if they ever have an epiphany of a given event. It is too easy for them to fall into old habits again. They are like an animal who is programmed by environment, they will fall back to 'what works' when that is convenient.

As to Wolfe, her epiphany is a tad late. She most likely being the sheep she is took the whole Jab series. She has offed herself. I can pity her poor decision making, but need not offer her a consolation prize of accepting an apology. Enjoy the personal decline, woman.

  9. Take the win, such as it is. Allow converts to convert and not be viewed forever as less thans -- e.g. Samaritans and Gentiles in the 1st Century Church.

She's really gone to the mattresses on cancel culture and loss of freedom of press, loss of food and medical freedom.

  10. She's also been surprisingly good considering her background on election rigging (both human factors and dominion/software)

Tampering with the sanctity of truth in social fabric requires restitution. Not doing the sweat work to determine that tampering has occurred and then the subsequently sobering/humbling enforcing of restitution making this process the normal, expected result effectively destroys a culture. Deuteronomy 19:15-21's words plainly declare this not an optional process, but instead a litmus test.
