What incites me to blood rage are all the emails I'm getting from the establishment "right", telling me that I have to donate as much money as I can right now, because Planned Parenthood is going to be running a lot of ads, and we need to run our own ads. I've gotten about 15 ads since the decision was leaked, including such luminaries as Kevin McCarthy, Ben Shapiro, Ron DeSantis, and various Ohio politicians. As my wife, who is very pro-life, notes, where were these abominations during the fight for curbing abortion? For the record, I support abortion, but not the Roe v Wade ruling in 1973. I've donated to PP in years long past, before I realized that they get a lot of taxpayer funding. No longer. What I'm doing now in response to these wastes of time is replying with a link to the GW figures I bought yesterday, such as The Exiled Dead, Soulblight Gravelords Battletome, and explaining that I care more about that than I care about which faction of the Uniparty gets to fuc& us over next. I've considered closing down my main email account, but I still have hopes of getting back to professional employment, and late yesterday I was contacted about a technical lead job here in Cincy. Pay rate is low, but I miss working. I just have to keep emptying the e-trash every day, lest it become sentient... Three more emails begging for money since I logged on at 2:30 am. Sigh.
You know, if it meant that much to them they could see if they could get an amendment to the Constitution. Of course, they'd want to use the words, "birthing people" so the latest SCOTUS judge could figure out what it meant . . . .
