  1. I think Ottawa gonna get a little hungry and my guess is the true patriots are prepared but not the haters. I can hear them now, "government, save me".

While turdeau jets off to the caribbean in that Gulfstream 250 that flew from Ottawa to DC a couple days ago.

  4. How much support the truckers get will depend on how willing the Canadian public is to endure shortages of goods.

  5. I have a feeling we may see a real civil war in the great white north.

Peter Zeihan wrote some years ago in one of his books that Canada is not a stable as people like to think. The political and cultural differences between the provinces is greater than between our states. Additionally, Canada does not have a strong national identity, other than "we're not American". Throw little Trudeau into the mix, making grave errors that Machiavelli warned against in "The Discourses" and you have the potential for civil war. Apparently there are now back runs because normal people not having anything to do with the trucker protests no longer trust the banks with their money.

At minimum, Trudeau's stupidity will cost the Canadian economy years, if not a decade, of economic damage.

    1. Yes, it does, hence the concern when Quebec voted on it twice in the 90s.
I'm surprised I haven't heard talk about it in the western provinces.

    2. Yes and no. It does but the mechanism to do it is broken.

A province would need to declare a vote and have 2/3 in favor. Then Parliament has to vote to accept the provinces will; then the Senate - which is appointed not elected - would also have to vote 2/3 to accept the provinces decision.

It would never happen. You may get a 2/3 vote in a province, You'll never get parliament to vote to yes and the senate are whores sucking off the government teat for life with huge expense accounts.

  8. @kurt9,

F___ economic damage. We're talkin' political power here! Troodough doesn't care about Canada, he is all in for power over Canada, or the ruins there of. For China, the Massah, the worse, the better.

  10. How long before China sends in "peacekeepers" and provides 100,000 "truck drivers"? Note that Vancouver is already a Chinese city.
