Deja Vu

  1. Here in the UK automatic cars are far less common (the type of cars most people have anyway) so the car thieves do not like to be seen by their friends as not being able to drive so will not take any with a auto box.

  2. The narrative is changing again.

The new narrative will be: THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THE NON-VAX ARE JUST YOUNG, ALL-AMERICAN TOUSELED-HEADEDS STORMING THE BEACHES AT NORMANDY.

Of course, WE realize the War was already won at Moscow, years earlier.

  3. What if this is the turn?

    That Frost guy again.

The oil market is telling the covid panickers to go fondle themselves...the 10 year US bond went from 0.7 to 1.8 percent and all we got is some foam coming off the top of the nazdak...masks are only seen in nyc and sanfran...and business is leaving those places like reverse carpetbaggers.

People are standing up...lots of brave docs and teachers out there but you know who's doing the bulk of the MAIL HAULING IN THIS CAMPAIGN?

    PILOTS.

Pilots are not flying because PILOTS ARE THE MOST DISCIPLINED WORK FORCE ON THE PLANET...no one has to take a career-ending checkride EVERY YEAR ON AVERAGE AS DO PILOTS...you think there's some evaluation on surgeons?...yeah, it's called malpractice lawsuits. You think there's some dude testing the bridge your local concrete guy poured for the county road? Only if it collapses with a school bus on it.

"If only the pilots had been more diverse...they wouldn't have told us to go fondle ourselves"...lament heard at Davos...as his private pilot ponders an unpressurized cabin and a pressurized cockpit.

  4. Aesop, I rest easy knowing my anti-theft auto device (standard transmission) is deferring all kinds of madness.

  5. Same truck for both boys through school - stick all the way.

  6. The anti-theft part if the blue oval. The right, proper transmission? No issue at all. Except the nasty habit of the Blue Oval type top eat itself - and the blue oval to screw over anyone trying to get service, yes even under warranty.

He went to Toyota/Lexus for some time, but is now on Mercedes as the Lexus grills are uglier than a stack of assholes. (Fwiw, I now have an older pre-stack Lexus).

  7. To Anon on his post up yonder. Yeah, I do believe we have turned. Catch the intensity of the heat Genocide Geno took last few days. I'm guessing he will be one of the sacrificial goats offered up in due time.
So we may be seeing the end of Phase II ( phase I covid, phase II vaxx ). Phase III components already gearing up: market crashes, inflation, shortages, etc. however so we have a long slog ahead of us.
Thank heavens for Aesop and like bloggers, I may well have gone insane by now without like minded folks
