Open Season. B'bye, Bozo. |
Happy news from CPAC:
(WAKEUPANDSMELLTHECOFFEE) The Conservative Political Action Committee formally disinvited the Utah Republican from its high-profile conference next month, after he voted in favor of new witnesses in President Trump’s impeachment trial.
“BREAKING: The ‘extreme conservative’ and Junior Senator from the great state of Utah, @SenatorRomney is formally NOT invited to #CPAC2020,” tweeted Matt Schlapp, chairman of the American Conservative Union.Huzzah.
Perhaps someone could ask the LDS church, and the decent folks in Utah, to formally invite Mittens to GTFO, and carpetbag his RINO ass right back to Massholia, from whence he hailed last, and in some haste.
For the hat trick, the RNC could formally kick his stupid ass out of the [R] party, and then he could run against Fauxcahontas as a [D] next time she's up for re-election to the US Senate.
Such a move would boost the average IQ of both political parties in the Senate by ten points, overnight.
BWAHAHA!!!
ReplyDelete"kick his ass out of the GOP"?!?
Are you frackin' insane?
What part of "UNI-PARTY" do you NOT understand?
Two wings on the same diseased vulture.
Now, claim you were only being facetious.
You're calling for something you know damned well will NEVER happen.
Doesn't mean you aren't right. It just means you're Don Quixote tilting at windmills.
This only ends ONE WAY and you f*ing well know it!
So FFS, OWN IT and stop beating around the bush. Show some balls. If you're gonna talk the talk then TALK the talk and walk it as well. Californika. Pfft!
Of course they won't. They doesn't mean they shouldn't.
ReplyDeleteIt would set a nice precedent.
And it would pretty much guarantee he'd have to move out of Utah, and go back East.
Win-win.
As long as Tillis is there the net effect of Mittens departure would only be R+2.5.
ReplyDeleteThat'd be awesome! The demonrats would have a literal meltdown. They'd literally call Republicans Satan incarnate because we're intolerant... They'd rather he remain a backstabbing RINO weasel than be honest about his political bona fides.
ReplyDeleteThat's OK. You can keep him. After all, you Californians accepted them to begin with. Mormons were driven across the continent by right thinking American Christians from the East coast all the way to your doorstep. It's your problem. America is tired of taking in your west coast discards. Which begs the question: where TF are you coming up with all those discards to begin with? Seems to me that you're breeding them...when you're not too busy importing them.
ReplyDeleteBe that as it may, your premise is "setting precedent". So why isn't YOUR State setting that precedent?
We here in VA got ass reamed in ONE YEAR what you guys sucked on for 30 years. Constitutionally speaking. Our immigration fvuckin' has been going on for about half the time and intensity yours has...which was sufficient given the comparative sizes of the States involved.
Things are tough all over, and that's a fact.
There's only one way this ends, for better or worse...and THAT'S a fact.
I think we can agree there's more than enough blame to go around on both coasts.
The fish stinks from the head down and there's only one cure for that.
I really hope it DOES kick off here in VA. We'll set the bar high for you Left coast procrastinators. You can take that to the bank.

ReplyDeleteYou know what would be "awesome" Fred? If I could fart Skittles! That would be truly awesome!
Here's a dollar. Go buy a clue.
@ unknown
ReplyDelete...which would put the score at:
Deep State = 14
Us = ZERO
Wow Chas, ain't you just a badass. We're super-impressed.
ReplyDeleteBoat Guy
I'd vote for calling in and grilling new witnesses, like every politician and politician's child who took money from the Ukraine. We could start with the Pelosi and Biden families, but we wouldn't want to end there.
ReplyDeleteOf course, that's not what Mittens was voting for.
@ Boat Boi
ReplyDeleteAs a matter of fact I AM a bad ass. Or at least a hard ass. You tend to get that way when you've nothing left to lose and your back's against the wall.
Apparently you've still got lots left to lose. Good for you. Get back to me after you've lost it all.
CiV,
ReplyDeleteYour mother wants you to leave the basement and take out the garbage.
Romney wore out his welcome fast back East, that's why he went to Utah, one of his five 'home' states. They are: California, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire and Utah. The guy is a grifter, absolutely without principles except do what's best for Mitt and make more money. He is all done now, good riddance.
ReplyDeleteFuck Romney.
ReplyDeleteI've met that smarmy shit weasel and shook his girly hand. Came off fake. Utterly plastic man who dripped contempt for those he considered "lesser". Just like Kerry.
ReplyDeleteLiving near and occasionally in the state of Iowa we get up close and with these guys occasionally. Sometimes meeting them up close you get a feel you don't get on tv. Sometimes it's right, sometimes it's wrong. I didn't and would never vote for him, but Bill Clinton seemed like a shady but likable used car salesman but he was also someone I could've seen myself going out drinking and chasing women with.
I really liked Dick Cheney when I met him and actually had really interesting conversations with him in a work related event after he was secdef and before he ran as vp. I genuinely liked him and thought he was the EXACT type I'd want as President secdef, or vp. It still bugs me how utterly wrong I was about him.
Had some unique exposure (i won't go into detail) to Trump nearly 30 years ago and thought how utterly normal he seemed despite being the larger than life guy I seen in the tabloids and stuff. Seemed to be a very normal, average family man. Maybe that's why he's so hated?
When Mitt campaigned in Massachusetts for governor he was constantly dogged by people wearing giant flip flops following him around. All of Mitt's contradictions were listed on the flip flops, it was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI met him during the Utah winter Olympics. I thought he seemed too sincere, in a phony salesman sense. The trouble in Utah politics is if you are a Democrat your chances of being elected are very low, so pols with a progressive mindset identify as Republican so we the people are deceived. All of my L.D.S. neighbors are good people- hard working and trying to do good works. I can't understand ones like Harry Reid or Romney who seem deceptive back-stabbers. Love your blog Aesop, first time commenting.
ReplyDeleteGrey man: "Fuck Romney"
ReplyDeleteYeah...what he said....
One would think that people would recognize a carpetbagger when one runs for office in a state that he's not from. I always thought that Mormons were able to separate the wheat from the chaff. Apparently I was wrong.
ReplyDeleteMitt is cut from the bolt of cloth as John "Lurch" Kerry. The only person/thing that Mitt cares about is Mitt. Mitt might go to church on Sunday or whatever day it is that Mormons go to church, but come Monday, Mitt looks out for Mitt at the expense of everyone else. Just look at the history of the business dealings of Baine Capital and the wreckage that was caused to a lot everyday day American's lives, if you have doubts.
Grey Man above makes the right call.

Did I vote for Romney? Yes. Wasn't about to risk sending a democrat back east. Do I wish that the local republican party would have trusted that there was a good conservative FROM Utah who could have been nominated instead of him. Yes. yes. yes.
ReplyDeleteHe is a carpetbagger and smarmy but too many local folks ran around like giddy school girls when he announced his run. Hopefully that has run its course and more people are thinking with their brains now. Watching the recent proposed law to "recall" sitting senators with interest.
I do wish they would have had the spine to call Hunter Biden to the witness stand... but no, the clowns in DC don't have it in them to go after the truth!
