This. Neither More Nor Less.

Point to ponder:

If a god exists, and he or it deigned to come to earth in human form, that alone is the true incomprehensible miracle of all of human history, and nothing else ascribed afterwards is any great leap of faith whatsoever.

That there was an actual Jesus of Nazareth is historical fact beyond arguing or dubious historical revisionism; he is better attested by primary sources than any or all of the Roman caesars.

Whether he was God incarnate is what is left for you to work out for yourself.

Regardless of one's inclination on the question, I bid one and all health, happiness, and all good things today.

  2. Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year

Always go to the primary source if you can and follow what rabbit trails you find and the truth can be found.

Some truth can be found from the Naked Bible Podcast about that unseen realm if you are open to that kind of thing.

  3. "Whether he was God incarnate is what is left for you to work out for yourself."
I have and the answer is "YES!"

As I lost consciousness for the last time before going into cardiac arrest it occurred to me that I might actually be dying.
"King Jeshua will speak for me before the throne of the Father." went thru my mind, and I called upon the Holy Spirit to hold me close.
I have no doubts that the Hand of Providence touched me.
    Merry Christmas to all.

  5. I celebrate the birth of Christ this day with my brothers in the Son of Man and The Way.

Particularly on this night December 25-26, I remember in reverence Washington's march after crossing the Delaware.

    Victory or Death, the password.

It's always 1776 somewhere in time.

  6. If “E” really equals MC(squared), then everything is possible, including an all powerful energy that can manifest whatever it wants. Faith starts with “it is possible” and gets so much better after that!

  7. When You fly thru the air at well over 140mph. in only helmet and street clothes and then you hear the voice of God ask if you want to die...
That question means for the rest of your life for Him not just in this instant.
    Yes. I believe.
No scars. No injuries, very, very light skin loss and No scratches even on the helmet.
Merry Christmas One And All! Thank You Jesus!

  8. Good thoughts to you and yours, whom-ever they may be, and for safety in the new decade, to avoid as much sporting activity as possible. If not, get some.

  12. A similar comment as Kafiroon's (posted Dec 25, 1pm)

But i was not flying through the air (hmm...i actually do have ANOTHER similar comment where i believe i was traveling 140 mph/airspeed...) but in this particular case, i was sitting alone in my parked car.

What does the voice of God sound like? I didn't *HEAR* anything, instead, it was more like a feeling (like when you feel hungry, or sleepy, etc) and yet, it most certainly was "talking" to me...he/she/it said:

"Really, you don't believe I exist? Okay, I dare you...deny I exist. One. More. Time. and see what happens!"

and i didn't *SAY* anything in response, i only *thought* of this reply in my mind:

"no sir, i might have had that opinion earlier today, but in this particular situation, perhaps my earlier opinion was incorrect"

The next day, I *REALLY* analyzed everything I could remember of the night before...this was sometime (i believe) in 1996. My atheistic brain (at that time) was trying *VERY* hard to reach any other explanation/conclusion for the experience of the previous night!

It was 1999 when I had another similar experience, and indeed, for THAT one i *WAS* airborne, i'm guessing the altitude was perhaps @3000 FT above sea level...again, i was not asked if i wanted to die in quite so specific terms...no...the message was more like:

"Hello again. Yes, this might very well be the end of your life, except that i have OTHER plans for you..."

Unfortunately (or fortunately?) i have not really been given ANY kind of "advance notice" of what the plan for me, actually IS!
