Chris Hernandez, in what we hope was just a photo op. It's too hot out thereabouts to do that for very long. |
We point out for the record that Chris Hernandez is writing again on his blog.
About five minutes after we appended "dormant" to our own Blog List label.

We are happy to remove that flag.
Chris is a good guy, and a good writer, and we are glad to see him literarily productive again, especially when he's handing out free ice cream at his blog.
So go read his stuff.
And if the spirit so moves, buy a book or three from him.
Sent you an email...
ReplyDeleteLawdog just did a post as well. You should apply that dormant tag faster!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'll take a look at it.
ReplyDeleteChris is one of the Good Guys for sure. He's also got some books published that aren't too bad.
ReplyDeleteThe nice thing about using an RSS reader is that I get notified if stuff pops up on "dormant" sites.
@tweell
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Texas heat just melted something loose in both cases.
Thanks for the tip.
Fort Davis is surprisingly pleasant for being next door to Big Bend. Sits around 6,000', ultra low humidity, nice and cool at night. Very well preserved fort, nice state park, and UT has a large observatory. Daytime you can stare at the sun, nighttime star watching party. Gotta watch out for the javelinas and rattlers though. Fun fact: Texas has mountains up to 8900'!
