In the movie 'Tremors', the character of Burt was made to seem like someone who was a little off mentally, a bit of a wacko. But I remember thinking, now THIS guy is prepared for anything, and so is his wife. Burt is the guy I want as my neighbor and friend. Better yet, let us each redouble our efforts to the limits of our ability and budget to BECOME Burt.
Annnddd, Burt was fighting ugly, fat, stupid, violent, subterranean creatures with lots of mouths to feed. It is so fitting that I think my new nickname for liberals will be "Graboids"
Take advantage of the opportunities you have while you can. Weapons in standard government calibers are advised.
