Meanwhile, At Camp David...

  1. Call and email your Senators. Call and email your Congresscritter.

Tell them we need 5 Billion to build the wall. Tell the GOP to support Trump, the wall will pay for itself. Tell the Democrats that it is a $5 Billion dollar jobs program with American Steel, American Concrete, and Union Labor.

Tell them both that you are sick of illegals killing Americans, like Officer Singh and Kate Steinle. You are fed up with the drugs pouring across the border. That sex trafficking of women and children must be stopped.

  2. The actual number of unnecessary government workers is probably closer to 70%....

  3. Agree that the 90% of the IRS currently furloughed is unnecessary. However, those clowns won't let the computers release my tax return until the whole .Gov opens again. There's no person involved in releasing the funds... no way they have enough pax on staff for that to happen every year. Useless bastards.

  4. The Dems have been bloviating about how we have to end the shutdown so the poor Federal employees can be paid, after all they need their paychecks.

Know what? For our entire marriage, my wife's paycheck (about 2/3 mine) has gone, in its entirety, to pay our taxes, Federal and State income tax, Social Security (Ponzi) tax, property tax, etc ad nauseum. We needed her paycheck too, but instead of taking a vacation/buying a new car/saving for retirement we had to pay for a bunch of government employees who will retire with MUCH more money (of which they contributed nothing) than we will. So pardon me if I don't cry about government employees having to find honest jobs.

  5. Only in the government could the term "non-essential employee" actually exist.

  6. the lame street media keep saying the trash is over flowing at the National parks. well why can't the visitors pack out more than they pack in.

  7. Years ago, when I lived in Maine, the state Parks removed all the trash receptacles.
What an uproar; the environazis wet themselves.
Turned out there ceased to be any trash problem after that. People took their trash out with them.

  8. Just curious: What's the over/under on functionality of EBT cards at some point?

  9. That's why the commies will turn EBT off, to wig out their mouthbreathing minions. They just tried and failed with racist agitprop in Houston.

It's gonna be a very interesting February!

  10. The federal minions will get paid, fear not(sarc). Many of them are " bargaining unit" (aka union) types. They'll get paid.
Sure hope the CINC wins this one.

  11. Badger, it appears that the over/under is already happening. As for going into next month, I won't bet against current events getting violent when people can't buy their whatever they buy.
