Well, Yeah.

  1. We welcome change and openness; for we believe that freedom and security go together, that the advance of human liberty can only strengthen the cause of world peace. There is one sign the Soviets can make that would be unmistakable, that would advance dramatically the cause of freedom and peace. General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!

If the Conservatives wanted peace, they wouldn't pay "taxes" and then there wouldn't be any "government" employees to disturb the peace. Instead, Conservatives agitate for bigger government in the form of an iron curtain. Conservatives won't vote against welfare though, oh no. Gotta keep putting feed out so the pigeons have a reason to collect where they "aren't wanted". Otherwise the crime rate would be so low they couldn't point to any reason for a "government".

  2. Sounds a bit exaggerated. Or, wait, is this like one of those Zen Koans? I'll meditate on this.

  3. Here is the most recent: The current plan is to vote on a yearlong CR next week, and not an expected two step process of passing a CR and then returning to pass a spending bill extremely close to the CR's expiration, shortly before Congress adjourns for the
    year.
This is why there is complete silence and no
further activity this week, regardless of the House and Senate declaring on Monday that there was to be a CR, lasting until December 21st, passed this week.
The intent of the communists and their GOP cucking foot soldiers can be heard here, beginning at 19:20: https://www.c-span.org/video/?455538-1/house-minority-leader-pelosi-briefs-reporters

Following that, during the last 40 seconds, Pelosi educates those in attendance that America has three coasts, North, South, and West.
