It evens out; someone else at TBP linked to my last story on this case in comments, and the hit-meter is climbing like a fighter jet from that and five other blogs and websites reading it since last week.
Fred won't shut up until the cartels cut his head off, so his foolishness is its own reward. I wouldn't piss on him to put him out if he was on fire.
As is the case in so many instances of official misconduct ( On and off duty) by LEO we will NEVER know all the actual facts. And since you can't know what the gate keepers of the facts won't tell you it's simply impossible to make an accurate statement about such instances other than the obvious one.....we can't trust the police.
