If it goes up the West coast they'll be in the most dangerous quadrant of the storm as the forward motion combines with the wind and adds another 15 knots to the wind rather than lessening it by 15 as in the left quadrant.
Watching this weekend and come Monday at work we will look at the projected storm track in the mid-west and start ramping up for Wed and beyond. We still remember a visitor from Texas and parts south 9 years ago named Ike.
At home, of course, supplies and preps are in place now.
