Full Retard

Last year. Dallas was told by the league they couldn't show support for the police after 5 Dallas cops were shot down at a BLM march.
Can't be supporting the guys who end up arresting half the league every year, right?

A  year later, the entire team commits ritual suicide on Monday Night Football.
You thought the Pittsburgh Kneelers took it in the pants?
Tomorrow, the fan reaction in Dallas can be summed up in one pic:

Get your popcorn re-supply: I expect that Cowboy Stadium will be talking shellfire by midday tomorrow.
The Cowboys just f***ed with Texas football, America, and the flag, on national TV.
One could reasonably expect a bloodbath.

50/50 the Dallas city council asks the team to leave town. For Anywhere Else.

  1. From what I heard this morning, they "took a knee" before the Anthem "for equality" (what kneeling has to do with equality I have no idea, but I went to the City University of New York, not a big-name school on a football scholarship). They then stood as proper for the National Anthem. If that's what happened I can't get too out of joint over it.

Assuming of course that the local radio station reported accurately, since I didn't watch the game.

  2. For me it was some douche bag peeing in the end zone on Sunday that finally did it. These ghetto lowlifes have zero class. They don't even try.
It's truly amazing how far this country has sunk. It's not going anywhere but down farther either.

  3. Sorry, but you're wrong about the Dallas City Council. They are leftists like so many other big city governments. They recently removed a statue of Robert E. Lee from Lee Park.

  4. Cowboys stadium is in Arlington, a suburb. There has been about 50/50 support/condemnation on local talk radio. I would imagine TV networks are frantically searching league contracts for outs as revenue from advertizers crashes.

  5. They HAVE an out:

Start enforcing league rules and SOP:
    "
The NFL has a rule on this Anthem situation but Goodell will not enforce it....The specific rule pertaining to the national anthem is found on pages A62-63 of the league’s game operations manual, according to a league source. It states:

“The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem.
“During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses."

    Fire Commissioner Goodell, for cause.
    No severance.

Suspend every player kneeling for a month. Suspend every team and forfeit their games for any team that wasn't out on the sidelines standing.

Owners and coaches participating lose all their draft choices next year.

Repeat offenders should be booted from the league for life.

This would end in about 2 minutes.

  6. The NFL is being pulled by the short hairs here. 2 gooses providing gold eggs... The majority of the fan base (64%), who surprisingly have come to the conclusion you can not honor the flag and country by disrespecting the flag and country. Then you have the players. How do you enter what is looking like a race war when 70% of your players are black?

A lot of advertisers will possibly have to decide what side of the line to plant a flag.
This will be a stake to the heat for ESPN, who has become MSNBC. If everyone was not locked into paying the high monthly rate in their DTV bundle, they would already be history. Lots of posturing to take place in the days to come.
I'll have to read about it. I'm done watching it.

  7. The players are not a monolith. 90% haven't "taken a knee", and there are legions of guys who didn't make the cut just this year alone ready to step into vacancies if the league simply shitcans the troublemakers. They'd be on a plane in about 15 minutes, and ready to play by Sunday, and the league would right itself in about a week, without so much as a hiccup.

The douchebags would be bagging groceries by next Thursday, and find themselves as popular as rats in the basement.

Money talks, and BS walks, and it's past time to send the BSers walking, with their suitcases in their hands.

Either a majority of the owners discover this, and implement it, or next year, they're roller derby.
